GEC Watch: Zee jumps to No. 2; Dance India Dance clocks a TVR of 5

STAR Plus is No. 1 again in Week 17, with a maximum share of 23 per cent, as per TAM's latest GEC report (C&S, 4+, HSM). Zee takes the second rank, acquiring a share of 22 per cent. Zee is only 14 GRPs behind STAR Plus. Zee's GRPs stand at 284 in Week 17. The Grand Finale of Dance India Dance on Zee garnered a TVR of 5.

Colors is at No. 3, garnering a channel share of 21 per cent, maintaining its share of Week 16. Sony's share has declined in the latest week. At No. 4, Sony's share currently stands at 11 per cent, followed by Imagine, which has garnered a relative share of 8 per cent.

The bottom rung channels have all maintained the status quo. SAB has retained 6 per cent share, followed by STAR One, which garnered 3 per cent share. Sahara One and DD1 have garnered 2 per cent share each, followed by STAR Utsav, which has managed to get 1 per cent share.

Uttaran on Colors is the most watched show in Week 17, recording a TVR of 5.8. Pavitra Rishta on Zee, which takes the second spot, has recorded a TVR of 5.7. Bidaai and Na Aana Is Des Laado have garnered TVRs of 5.4 and 5.1 respectively.

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Dance India Dance Finale recorded TVRs of 5 each. The other shows in the Top 10 list are: Pratigya, Jhansi Ki Rani, Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo and Balika Vadhu.

this is good.
DID is did good, but previous finales on zee have garnered more trp's even zee rishtey had 7. but this was was on friday so it's understandable.

did u notice drama tvr's of all shows have come down drastically, the top show only got 5.8😲, so shows down the ladder must be really low. yeh rishta used to get 6 or 7, now just 5
wow balika is really loosing out😆

I hope zee is at #2 next week again, it will be nice to which shows go up after IPL.

but PR has been rocking from almost six months of consistent ratings now..

and im happy for agle janam but if they kill rupa ganguly the ratings are going to soar and i will never forgive the CV's ever..

other shows bidaai is improving and balika is loosing.

yea PR has been stead continuously, and it's rocking. It will be ahead next week by a bigger margin. but no other shows have improved,
let's wait for TAM ratings to compare between all shows.

bidaii just improved in ranks, it's trp's r about the same. yeh rishta fell too

no, the sole reason for less trp's for DID was the friday factor. nothing else😛
but i'm sure CB has a good rating, but next week 4 sure it will be veryy down as there no drama and only romance😆
though behenin is good i hope it stays where it was😡 dont want 4 shows of star there

next week JKR and PR will be higher

I think last week IPL matches got really high ratings as per TAM..they r somewhere between 8...mayb because of the semifinals...thats the reason why overall ratings of all shows hv gone down...

Balika vadhu is really getting some good blows here😆..as per TAM its 2.6 or something😲😕..I think first time BV got such poor trps below 3..Colors need to really pull up their socks now...apart from Uttaran..all their other shows r pretty inconsistent these days

And something is really weird..as per TAM ..Bidaai is the third highest rated show and yeh rishta is the fourth..but Amap last week never featured these shows even in top 10😕..so mayb this week too Star might do well as per TAM😕...

Good to see Agle janam right up there..This thakurain suspense drama might just work in favour of the show's ratings as viewers love to watch a show if it has the curiosity factor of what will happen next😉

And Gur what did I tell u ..as long as my blessings r there on Uttaran..it can never go down😉🤣..the day I lift up my blessing from Uttaran..it will go out of the charts🤣😈...

yea this is the first time shows have been impacted this much during IPL, they have really suffered, even yeh rishta never dropped below 4😲 i'm even more excited now to see next week's TAM, becuase there will be many surprises I think😆

Gur with or without IPL..there is nothing concrete happening in Yeh rishta these days..who will watch all this tamasha of Naitik's sister's wedding plans...there is no suspense nothing in that show...still they r getting this much trps ..so they should thank God for it😆

Well yes next week surely we will get few surprises in top 10 shows with IPL over😆..but T20 world cup is starting..so u never know serials might again suffer a blow😉😆

About Uttaran..let me see how long I can keep giving blessings to this show😆😆..one secret..Sattvik just started watching Uttaran and loving it too😆

please I hope some good times come in uttaran soon, so that u leave it😆
but Uttaran can get whatever it wants😆, zee really doesn't have a strong show at 10 to compete with it. hope a new show comes and gives uttaran competiton😉
the most competitive slot is now 9:30 with shows across all 3 channels doing good.
