Shekhar is no dudh pita bachcha, he should realise his commitment to his women and Sid all said and done it is time you grow up, realise that it is not Laali but you who has to act to get Shekhar back...and Laali like all TV heroines could not let this golden opportunity go to become mahan...grrrrrrr Laali this has become too cliche...time has come to become different...mahanta chhoro, what is yours, keep it as yours and don't you know, you should never share your underwears and husband😉 Your thoughts friends, love Tin

Shekhar did not divorce Siddheswari before marrying her, if he had done so, i think Laali would not hesitate to exert her rights (with sensitivity). Laali is placed in a very awkward dilemma - a wife and, yet, not a wife. She has become the other woman.

Caste-wise she does not have the respect of society, being bought and becoming a dasi - again, no respect from society and to add fuel to the raging fire she is now the other woman or the second wife - again a status not respected by society. Laali is aware of her social status.

To complicate matters, Laali loves Shekhar and Shekhar loves Laali. They have gone through so much together and their bond is not an easy bond to break. Laali is well aware of this and well aware of what society will accept and not accept.
