you know instead of saying that they shouldn't be reincarnated as daughters, why wouldnt you wish or hope for their situation to be better for girls in rural parts of india to have educational oppurtunities and evlove as a society so that women are NOT considered lower in value, we dont ever hear about young boys or men being mortgaged off then why is it ok for women to be treated this way? Ideaolgies as these is what perpetuates this cycle...perhaps you could re consider your views on the status of women in India and instead of lamenting maybe try and be a part of the solution

Well thank you. I never said I am lamenting; am I.

I am sure we are all entitled to some literary expression; which is the only point of that expression

And since charity begins at home, what efforts have you taken to eradicate the gender biased system above or ideologies. Lets start with something simple. Do you have a maid/ lady housekeeper at home? Have you taken efforts to see she gets better education/ higher education.

Never mind.......dont reply.

This is precisely the reason why I feel though this serial has one of the most powerful storylines, some discussions are sadly into finding frivolities and hooting down people.

I think its best to stay away from here considering this is one more evidence when I have felt unwelcome here.
