Ok, I am no a fan of Sidd but I think that she is paagal and that is why she acts the way she does. She is like a child...I feel sorry that she has been thrown in the outhouse in place of Lali..Don't get me wrong, I don't want Lali to be in yhr outhouse either..

Just because Sidd can't have a baby she is persecuted??? And the badi dhulan is not respected because she has only daughter??? Where is the justice..Does a woman's fertility or bearability determine her worth?

I am so disgusted but what can I say...This dram is called Agle Janam Mujhi Bityia Hi Kijo???? Why? From what I have seen in this show, I never ever want to be a bitiya again..This drama makes me cry so much..I just want to know what is being taught here?

Any thoughtd?

Injustice against women is not new. When u asked whether a woman's worth is based on her fertility.. believe me it does for a married woman. I say this out of my own experience.

Both me and my husband are engineers and well placed overseas. I was not able to conceive and when diagnosed, problem was on both sides but when it comes to pointing fingers its always me by my in-laws even sometimes by my hubby, who knows the truth that he also has problem. Now we have adopted a girl child and everything is OK.

My friends state is even worse. Her husband is highly educated and holds a high profile overseas job compared to my husband but once he figured out that the fertility problem is entirely in his wife and not him, he is planning to marry again.

Imagine if educated and urban people can behave like this then how about rural people.

According to me Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo so that she can live a more meaningful and wholesome life which she could not in this Janam.

P.S. When i was stressed out becos of the infertility issues, i watch serials and divert my mind, otherwise i would have gone mad by now. So i think Siddeswari is also diverting her attention on makeups and jewels. Just my thought.

What we see is wrong but this what reality is, this is what women have to go through if the cannot give their an "heir". They are just depicting what happens in so many Indian homes. If a girl doesnt get pregnant after some few months of marriage, people start questioning whether she will have a child or not. And this happens in big cities, so you can imagine what must be happening in villages. This wrong but it wont go away if we close our eyes. We need to acknowledge the problem and the shows these days are at least trying to depict problems prevalent in Indian society.
