Mumbai: The gruelling shooting schedule has finally started to take its toll on Ratan Rajput, the lead actor in Zee TV's Agle Janam Mohe Bitiyan Hi Kijo. Rajput was hospitalised last week after she had a blackout on the sets after continuously shooting for 12 hours.
According to sources, Zee TV, granting her an emergency one-day leave, is now working out how to "space out" her character so that she gets some more rest. "I just had a one-day off. I was shooting and suddenly I had a black-out. I don't remember to which hospital I was taken to, but this much I can remember that I protested when they wanted to put me on a drip. I am scared of needles," says 23-year-old Ratan, who hails from Patna.
Ratan admits that she never thought that working in a serial would involve so much of work. "I never knew it requires so much of work. The stress started building up as the shooting schedules became longer and longer. I started getting blackouts as my blood pressure started plummeting. But the channel people have been extremely nice to me and they have promised me a leave once this schedule is over," says Ratan.
Talking about phobias, Ratan says,"I always broke into a cold sweat when people used to talk about exams. I used to forget everything and my hands used to tremble before the examination. I realised that studying was not the thing for me as you need to appear for exams at every step," the actor ends.
