21th Episode!
The kids want to give Laali a gift
Laali's two younger sisters are discussing what they should give to Laali as a gift for her Gauna. And Munna hears them, and asks them what should he give as a gift, but his sisters tell her that only girls give gifts, not boys. Munna runs over to his parents and asks he too want's to give Laali a gift, Mari then gives him a braclet which Nanku gave to her when she married him.
Bali doen't live up to his promise! Ask's Nanku to bring Laali to the main road
A man then comes over to Nanku's house, and asks him to come with him. He then takes Nanku to Bali. Bali tells him that Laali should be ready by tomorrow morning and that she should wear the sari which he gave. He also tells that Laali should be brought to the main road by tomorrow morning, and the men will pick her up from there. Nanku get's shocked hearing this!! Becuase Bali had promised that Laali would be taken from the house as if her Gauna is happeneing. Nanku pleads in front of Babli, but Bali refuses to listen to him!!
Nanku is still pleading in front of Bali and tells him that if he has to take Laali, then he has to take her from her house. Bali get's mad hearing this, he goes and get's a sharp weapon and tries to attack Nanku with it. He basically scraes Nanku, so that he agrees.But later Bali calms down.
Bali finally agrees!
Bali then calls his master, he tells him that the deal has been done and the girl is very good. He tells him that the girls father wishes to act her sell off as a Gauna. They don't show the master though. Bali then disconnects the phone and tells Nanku to bring Laali to the road and there they will enact the Gauna drama.
At home, kids prepare for the Gauna!
Laali's siblings are questioning Laali on her Gauna, and asks her what she want's as her Sakhi todai(Gauna gift). Laali tells them that only friends are suppose to give it, not sisters. Laali then hugs all three kids, she tells them that she will only take the gifts from them if they sing a Gauna song for them. But none of the kids know the song, they then ask Majri. But Majri is sitting their in a distressed mood and doesn't want to talk with anyone, but the kids eventually persuade her and she sings the song for them, Majri while singing remembers all the good moments with Laali and get's sad.
Nanku and Majri lie to Laali and tell her she has to go to the road to visit a temple
The kids then give Laali her gifts and tease her about Ganesiya. But Majri sits there thinking that Laali is not even going to Ganesiya and she too herslef doesn't know where she is going. Just then Nanku comes home, all the kids go away. Nanku tells Majri that Bali has told them to bring Laali to the main road, because they will come to see her from there. Laali come there and asks Nanku where she has to go, Nanku and Majri lie to her and tell her that she has to go to the main road because there's a temple there, and all girls should visit there before their Gauna.
Tomorrow!
Laali and her parents are at the main road. A man in a car comes there and looks at Laali, thy don't show his full face. But Laali is all covered in mud!!
