Nowadays only social-based shows are getting good responses...Balika vadhu, laado and even bidaai! We should not forget that television is not only a medium of entertainment but it is a medium of awareness too!
People are actually tired of the saas bahu dramas....the fights, slappings, etc.I feel AJMBHK is a very good initiative by zee... atleast people will realise what is the actual scenario in many of the villages which constitute ~70% of the population!
As for the songs,we can just listen to them anytime na😆!

I find this show a refreshing change but I know others who find the show too depressing.
This story has a different start in order to establish the background for the characters.
I realize that some people just want to switch off when they come home and immerse themselves in a fictional world.
I suppose I am different in that aspect, I prefer to see some reality of the world rather than fantasy land. I see a side of rural life amongst the poor with which I am not familiar. Because of that I find this show attractive. I don't watch the other zee shows with the usual love stories and saas-bahu etc type of nautanki. Yes I watched Kasamh Se in the beginning but after a year it lost its glitter.
Once they start that on this show I will stop watching too.
I am looking for something different not the usual story.

Yes that's true, this show is very different from other shows currently on TV.
That's true, they are taking time to establish the background and the reasons they will be selling Laali.

I don't think there will be saas-bahu fights in this one😆.
But I have lived in the village so I have some understanding of how things are treated in the Village.
I do hope though that eventually we will see a strong plot, so that viewers stick to the show.
