This scene happens about a week or so after Prishna get married. We hardly got too many scenes of our choice then ' so I thought of coming up with one.
The house was in a tense atmosphere for most of the time. Krishna was not yet fully accepted as the right choice as "bahu" by many who had attended the wedding. Her dark complexion had been talked about by some in the function held by TTS. Ganga had offered to give her the keys of the house as she thought she married Pintu for his wealth. All this had been weighing too much on Krishna.
Pintu had tried to keep her cheerful and also was very supportive of her ' yet he could sense that she was still quite aloof from him---- and though initially he did show patience and understanding, it was getting a bit too much for him now. He was upset at her behavior on the very first day---------but did not want to pressurize her into anything and even when he cleverly brings up the topic of Honeymoon-----he had hoped for a positive response. Somehow things were not working out as he had planned and this marriage was not yet complete in the true sense of the word.
Pintu wakes up early ' he had hardly slept the night before. He was admiring Krishna fast asleep and only wished that they could have been like all other happily married newly weds! He quickly gets up and leaves the room after getting fresh. Here Krishna wakes up and gets ready. She wonders where Pintuji could have gone this early. She comes down to the breakfast table and helps Sargam bhabhi to serve.
TTS asks her - " Where is Pintu Singh? Is he still fast asleep?" Pintu Singh replies as he had just returned after running a few miles outside ' " I am here Babuji------I had gone for a jog!" Krishna looks at him and smiles. He is aware of her but chooses to ignore her. For some reason he was angry with her. Krishna yet again is left very anxious and worried. She looks at Sargam who gives her a hint that she should be going with her husband to see if he needed something. So Krishna follows Pintu------but slowly as she is not sure of the reason for this behavior of Pintuji.
Pintu enters his room all sweating and is ready to go for a shower. Krishna comes in and says ' " Pintuji ' you left very early today for your run---did you have some tea?" Pintuji just gives her a look and goes into the washroom and closes the door. Krishna is even more upset now. This was the first time she had seen this mood of Pintuji. She is sure that something is definitely wrong. She waits in hope that soon she will find out once he is ready. She remains silent throughout after that, while she watches him get ready quickly and leave the room. He does not even acknowledge her presence!!!!. She follows him but at a safe distance as she can feel the vibrations of dissonance-----
Ganga asks Pintu to sit and serves him breakfast. Sargam asks Krishna also to join him and when Krishna comes to sit next to him, he immediately gets up saying he is done! Krishna keeps looking at him as he just leaves the place. Krishna is now in tears. Sargam comes to her and says that things will be okay as she knew her devarji well. His anger would dissolve in no time! Krishna goes to her BDO office and is not at ease there. The DC walks in to tell her that she can take a weeks leave as she had just got married. Krishna is relieved but at the same time worried about how she would spend a week at home with Pintuji in this mood.
She comes home and enters her room. Pintuji is surprised to see her home early. She walks in and does not say anything. There is this strange silence between them. She walks past him while he has a glance at her and sees that she is all lost in thought. He is now aware that his indifference towards her has probably upset her. He had to come up with what was bothering him------he had to ------for their sake--- and for the sake of their relationship. She picks up a saree to change and turns around to see him standing right in front of her. She feels very uncomfortable as she was already in the verge of tears. She tries to make way for herself but he would not let her go. She stands there as if frozen. He breaks the silence softly ' " Krishna------" Just on hearing his voice, she begins to cry. She covers her face with the saree in her hand and starts weeping. Pintu is very upset about this and quickly takes her in his arms and hugs her. He can't see her cry. He tries to get her to sit down and slowly tells her ' " Krishna----I am sorry ' but I was finding it very difficult to go on like this. I married you to be with you and I wanted you to be happy being with me. But you are all the time worried about everyone ------even when we are together alone. We should not lose our moments of happiness for the others. I need you to be my wife, Krishna--------with me-----near me-------loving me-------( and he hugs her very tight------as he also gets emotional.)
Krishna could sense exactly what he meant. She realized that she had been unfair to him. She moves slightly away from him and wipes his tears and gives him a smile. But he hugs her yet again and didn't want her to part from him. She was also feeling this yearn of being with him in his close presence. She whispers in his ears----------Pintuji ' I have a weeks leave and where do you plan to take me for our Honey Moon? Pintuji is really happy.
He teases Krishna of what all he plans to do in the next few days. He tells her to be ready as from now all her time was for him ----for their love-----for their happiness. Krishna was also now enjoying this beautiful talk when she suddenly feels that she was actually lying down with Pintuji on her. He was talking softly into her ears and she was just lost in his words-----in him!
