if you think about it, krishna obtained her goal & now these petty office issues are kinda killing the mood of AB because it all relates back to bihari & TTS is still like a brick wall. TTS is projected as a thick headed gunda with a favorite word. lol... it's a little stale. I think general public was excited when bihari & TTS tasted some of their medicine . now, its like nothing happened. and scary creepy pinky is almsot non-existent now.

we need a fresh sense of struggle in AB. maybe if her office troubles weren't related to bihari, her poor background, and to show how opposite EVERYONE else is compared to krishna, thennn we would feel suspense. you know? the only two straightforward and honest people in her office is the quiet lady, and the teacher's pet mithilesh

hello Moksha,

I agree with all of this. If you don't mind can I take your notes from here and paste onto this link
http://www.india-forums.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=2801259

This is an article that me and Angel once discussed and posted to have periodic updates for Antagonists and Protagonists of the show. We almost have the same train of thought. I found your thoughts so succint here that I wish these thoughts are present on that thread also.

Thank you.

i realized i wrote that mini rant kinda everywhere .. to elaborate what i mean to say is that the episodes shown since krishna became a BDO were very "happy" i guess you can say. especially bc she overcame a struggle and achieved her goal.

where does AB go from there?

Since that approval of her to be a BDO, the plot became moved again by bihari. i get it, we need "villians" in every show, but at a certain point, all these kalakaris and "i just hate to hate" is now slightly stale since the show has passed its honeymoon period. i'm thinking with today's episode, the first steps to pushing the story line and adding more dynamics to krishna's life has been put in motion. (family struggle with ravi, work struggle with DC, personal life struggle with Pintu)

before this new DC sir was added in the equation, and ravi started acting up again... we were faced with the same AB situation. krishna fighting against a place where the corruption rate is 99.99%, and due to krishna being poor her success probability is -10 but her courage and personality make her succeed. although, this is enjoyable to watch, i just don't get why her corrupt office needs to be connected to bihari. can't they be a separate entity bound on causing a pain in krishna's side? i want AB to show a struggle that wasn't propagated by bihari, you know?

also i meant that typist lady and mithilesh are the only good ones in the office (i'm starting to think that mithilesh and the new DC would be fun people to see pintu compete with for krishna's affections). anyway .. in the end, i get that bihari is THE villian, while TTS chooses when he wants to be a buttface to vidya and krishna BUT i would like them to add a more dynamic portrayal of Krishna's life. To show her being a BDO and performing her duties as a separate entity, like the fixing of today's school meal-time corruption, instead of always connecting EVERYTHING in krishna's life to some action bihari & his family made against her.

Moksha,
I like this one also. At bold. Crystal Clear. That is what it should be in the name of actual drama.

Can I post these comments also in quotes with your name to the other thread of Antagonists and Protagonists http://www.india-forums.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=2801259

Actually it would be great if you posted there something in your own words. But just that I am loving your thought process so much that I wished it to pasted there. Thing is this is what has been going on in my mind since Tuesday when the creatives added so many antagonistic elements in such a rushed manner in one single episode. Instead of trying to distribute the screen time between Useless and lacklustre Pinky character, Bihari, they can just retire them. And Tuntun, instead of him making a hardline father creating all kinds of hurdles, now they are turning him into a Psychotic character who just doesn't know whether he has to be stand up for himself, or his family or just be against everyone. I mean they are turning him into a narcissict. Did they orginally plan him to be like that ?

Instead of focussing on Ravi, Pinto, Bihari, Pinky and Tuntun...all trying to have vested interests with Krishna in one or the other manner just as she joins office, the creatives could have spent good time qualitatively this week expanding stories on new faces introduced on 21st March. Almost all of them introduced are enough to create a chain of problems in Krishna's professional life for us to keep entertained for atleast for a month before Krishna lands into conflicting interest issues with family members and Personal entanglements.

Parallel tracks meanwhile could have been developed with growing antagonism between Tuntun and Pinto and Pinto deciding to establish his own identity. My biggest disappointment is that Creatives are hell-bent to make Pinto ...as their TRUMP CARD for TRPs and so they will never develop him as a proper character but reduce him to LAFUABAAZ as long as the going is good for the show and when Krishna track starts getting boring or TRPs drop, suddenly show Pinto donning the role of "I am NO LAFUABAAZ and now WILL SPEAK for MYSELF"...which may JUST LAST for ONLY COUPLE of EPISODES.

I mean seriously can the creatives not think of running Pinto and Krishna tracks in parallel and have Prishna scenes restricted to Phone calls or like friendly meet ups instead of showing then together on screen where Pinto is reduced to be the driver and bodyguard, just for purpose of keeping viewers happy for Prishna moments and serving their purpose of having Tuntun yell at Pinto for acting like a puppy around Krishna ? Do we really need this kind of bad drama ? Are we so lame to buy this cheap drama ? What are they making us think about ourselves and the characters that we would like to love so much ???

I think now I am just rambling on and shall stop here.

Looking forward to your response.

hey shridevi!

of course you can attach my comments, i dont mind. i shall visit the link as soon as i can and join in on the discussion. i understand where you are coming from - i also feel the frustration lies in the question of how all these people and events are truly connection. i like prishna, but i never saw where they went from family-loyal individuals that were good at heart to in the position they are in now. the position where everyone BUT prishna, krishna's family and babloo are under the impression that prishna are in reality a couple. (actually, pintu knows what he feels for kishna quite clearly, but krishna does not realize her own feelings). bihari's family is jealous of krishna's family and want TTS' family as another nice possession - so their thoughts and actions are based off of irrational idea. TTS is easily influenced by the little birdies around him (bihari, mostly), and gangadevi being treated as subservient/ "just a female" and a "means to the product" in the TTS house - i get that she faces a lack of affection. her children that are tied between them suffer, and pintu deciding to gain freedom has hurt her because her own kids aren't hers to manipulate, advise, guide, etc. BUT, what i don't understand is how Prishna do not understand or make connections on what everyone else is thinking. one may be pure, honest and most importantly naive, BUT if someone is saying to their face "i don't like you bc of __, and i think ___" - there is no other clarity needed. bihari's family, TTS, and even babloo's wife have mentioned to all krishna and pinto what they think and feel in the most blunt and crass of ways... an understanding person would think before acting even if their conscious is clear. like krishna could have driven the BDO car (she was taught how to drive), instead of asking pintu. pintu should have realized spending day and night with krishna would be misinterpreted by one person or anyone, while the jasoos number ones live riggght next door to vidyapati. in fact, pintu does not give priority to krishna over TTS but also over his mother, sometimes.

when babloo called pintu a child, it really was apt because in the end their concept of how big a stage the world is has not fully made itself clear to them.

kher, chod do. it's perceivable that they are keeping prishna under the same scenes because they need krishna to propel pintu. pintu needs a push to become his own person, and not stay as TTS' son or babloo's brother. without krishna, he does not have purpose or anyone telling him to be more, to do more. maybe the point of krishna in AB is to be a catalyst. to propel the individuals in TTS' family to break their molds and bring TTS into reality (as it is, some times i feel TTS lives in a 1970's bollywood film, lol), while krishna is there to shatter the illusions of preconcieved notions those privileged build (bihari's family), and in relation to her own family .. it's like they are prisms of one truth. where vidyapati is the most solid, pure, and has unrelentless belief (not supported by faith), saraswati raj is the typical worry wort female .. she need support and proof to instill her faith, while chancal is the unmasked voice of truth (and how she uses it must be learnt), while krishna's two other sisters are two types of bystanders. one ready to speak up and support while swati will quietly follow. ravi, is an example of character. despite krishna achieving a high rank, and wanting to work hard and honestly to bring her family out of disparity, ravi rather take short cuts and let his morals be altered. maybe he can symbolize gluttony, wanting more and aiming for more regardless of the means.

this is quite log now, haha, oopsies

thx Moksha! 😃
Done. I posted your comments over that thread.

And I again liked your today's post. I differ though on the point that Krishna doesn't yet fully realize her feelings for Pinto. In my opinion, she is behaving almost as if she is fully committed to him. No words expressed in ack fashion but actions speaketh it all and commitment given with "hum hamesha saath hai" lines.
But truly, me too thinks...how can both ignore the kind of gossip they are raking up with blatantly doing what they are doing...Too bold for their situation 😆 and at a time when both do not have much time for personal heart matters other than dealing with immediate situations using their head! Sab Creatives ki aparampaar maya!! Kuch bhi dikha dete hain

lol, i know what you mean.

but what i mean by krishna is that she is acting, and obviously greying that line of good friend into more of a life-partner, by giving such support to pintu . i don't feel like she is accepting or fully comprehending what the root of these steaming actions are. somewhere inside, i feel like she doesn't comprehend that her feelings are not of friendship but of true attraction and love. she precariously is walking along this tightrope giving more than what a mere friend would, but is allowing herself to hide behind the excuse of supporting him because they are friends

at least with pintu, we at least had a scene where he wanted to venture into a conversation about them being an item.

once i find a link, i shall post it. it aptly shows the concept of "you can do whatever you want, but if you never say it - than no one will ever know"
