Siddharth Sengupta used to direct chabhi from the beginning till it moved to the 7.30pm slot. He has given us some memorable episodes like the Diwali one. You must have seen his name in the credits. Now he is directing Balika Vadhu. This show is telecast on new channel Colors channel from 8pm to 8.30pm. It is a daily. And guess what after being the no. 2 show for a while its beaten Bidaai to become the No. 1 show last Thursday and Tuesday. Check this out:

I have heard the show is pretty good. Not the usual saas bahu stuff. Not really unexpected from the ex-director of Chabhi. Kudos to him and I wish him all the best.

Well with Sid at the helm it had to be number 1 - I'm pleased that Balika Vadhu is getting the recognition it deserves.

Yes actually i have seen some episodes of Balika Vadhu. Its cool and fresh..no no not advertising Mentos here😆 I wish Sid all the best and hope he and others too make SP realise their mistake😡
