Hi there. Main bilkul late hoon, but just wanted to be a part of this forum! I absolutely loved Chabi... i think it was the best show on air when it was on air. It needs to come back on air, pronto! I will go and sign all petitions and even participate in Parvati saree competitions, yes i have been reading old posts here 😃

Unfortunately, i did not have a tv and so i missed quite a bit of it. I have heard that star is showing it again on friday evenings... i try to come away early on Fridays to catch it 😊
I still remember an episode when Ashish Kaul had come to take away his father to the US... the whole idea of who constitutes your family was explored so well... the son wishing to take the father away was not a villain, just someone who worries about his dad being all alone. I loved the scene where he tells Varun Badola that he does not have any right to interfere, he is an 'outsider' and the way Sandeep accepts that there is a degree of truth in that but it is not entirely true.
Cheers to all of you for keeping the banner of chabi flying high!

welcome to the forum whynot! better late than never i would say. yes the episode where arjun comes to take away bauji was really well taken...everyone including sandeep accept it that its arjun's right to look after his father as he is his biological son. no one really thinks of sandeep(including sandeep himself) who has been looking after bauji in arjun's absence.
btw do sign the petition and send in the emails. why not keep trying?

Hey whynot...a big welcome to you! It's really heartwarming to see people come out and show their allegiance even now, I wondered if out of sight would mean out of mind....
That was a fabulous epi..the interaction between Sandeep and Urmi there really set the scene (in my opinion) for the future. And the acting from all people was excellent!

Thank you so much for the reply. I think the Friday repeats have stopped.... i hope not 😔

Kshreya i have signed the online petition and will send a mail today as well. Got my fingers crossed!

Nisha, you're right... the Sandeep Urmi interaction in that episode set the tone for a lot of things... she can't see him upset, so she goes and blindly repeats everything he has said to Arjun... and that upsets Sandeep cause he knows that what he said was not the only side of the picture, Arjun has the right to look after his father too.

I live in a different city than my mom, and each and every argument and position in that episode was so real to me that i cried when i saw it, called her up and said "i'll never insist on taking you away from your home" and she was like "kya ho gaya? what are you talking about?" 😆 😆 😆 😆

thanks for ur support whynot. also when sandeep, urmi and bauji are at sandeep's house...bauji asks urmi to sing a song and she is too choked to sing so bauji asks sandeep to sing and he makes a mistake and bauji says that he always makes a mistake at the same point and sings it correctly. sandeep and urmi simply exchange glances helplessly.

then later bauji tells sandeep no one must cry when i go...sandeep says done but on one condition...i'll not come to see u off. awww!
i really miss this show...😭

Me too.... And in a lot of ways I miss our Chabi community as well. All of us connected appreciating the simple things in life. People like that are hard to find these days.
