New *DOTW*

Trust in Relationships.

We all know how Trust in any relationship is Very Important,

Sometimes if someone is dishonest, you end up never trusting them again, so it can make or break a friendship or relationship.

What would you do if:

Your Parents lied to you on an issue?

Your best friend kept an important secret from you?

Your gf/bf lied to you about what they did on the weekend wen they were meant to b spending time with u n didnt?

When is lying acceptable? is it ever?

i would be only a LITTLE upset...it depends if the issue was REALLY serious...

wellll...i would be upset...i'll talk to my best friend and ask her why she kept the secret from me...if her reason was good enought i'll forgive her but i would never forget it...and maybe i will never tell her anything...depend on wat the secret was...

i would be super angryyy...if my bf was at a party or with another girl...i would be even more angry...i would probably break up with my bf cuz if he can lie to get out of spending time with me, wat else can he lie abt?? i would want my bf to just tell me that he wants to do somehting else...i wouldn't stop him...i'd rather he tell me than lie to me

When is lying acceptable? is it ever?

welllll....sometimes it is...depends on the reason...if it is to protect someone else...than i would lie...but when you lie...it feels alright but when someone else lies to you then it feels bad...so idk...if it is acceptable

I completely trust my Mom and if she lied to me about something then I'd like to go the roots of the matter and look for the reason why she did that because I am very sure that she would've done that for my sake.

Your best friend kept an important secret from you?

I believe no matter how great friends you are, there are somethings that need to be kept personal . So if my best friend didn't want to doesn't like to share that secret with me then I am totally cool with that.... as long as that secret doesn't involve me.

Well, I would be made mad for a while because if he did have a reasonable reason then he could've told me and I myself would have given him that time so there's no need to lie about petty things like this.

When is lying acceptable? is it ever?

It is acceptable if you are trying to save someone from getting hurt... If something could be hidden and it doesn't make a big difference but by telling it you can seriously hurt someone, then it's ok to hide the truth... but lying is hard to accept... Hiding the truth is what I would prefer.

I would get angry but control my anger. I would still trust my parents though.

my best friend kept a few secrets from me but i still trust her even though I was angry in why she didn't tell me. My boyfriend is also my best friend, he shares a lot of things with me except he prefers keeping some a secret esp. the ones that will upset me but somehow I just figure out his secrets without him telling me.

i would get angry at my bf not spending time with me over the weekend but since I know his schedule, I wouldn't make any illusions and continue trusting him. I've been in this kind of situation twice and he got pretty angry when I thought he was cheating on me so that's how I learned my lesson.

lying is never acceptable.

firstly, i know dat my parents would NEVER lie too me. NO MATTER WHAT! dey may try n turn da situation uoside down to confuse me but their never gonna lie. n if they did i would be a lil upset but i'll get over it.

if it was about me, den i'll be quite angry but if it's something bout her or someone else n it really doesnt matter cuz sometimes things need to be kept personal.

Oh boy, i'd be mad. but it depends on what da reason is. i mean why he lied. if it was sumething important den ye that;s fynne but if sumething STUPID den i'll be mad.

i always think this. lying is ONLY acceptable when yur trying to avoid someone getting hurt. especially, yur love ones. but see dat;s a reason but otherwise lying is NOT acceptable AT All!

Trust in relationship is very important, without trust no relationship can survive. Take an example of a one year child when you throw him into the air, instead of cry he laughs because he has trust on you that you will catch him before falling.
