hey i just moved and am starting my freshman year in a new high school where i dont know anybody :( my 2 cousins go there but i dont want to be hanging out with them the whole time..i want to make friends and all..but i am soooo nervous.am freaking out :( today was my first day and i was sooo lost! :( i talked to a few people but i didnt really get close to anyone yet..im sooo scared and freaked out :( i feel soo lonely over there since i dont know anyone :( what should i do to feel better? :(

Well, it was only the first day, So I am sure that you feel that way. In fact this was my first week in my Uni and I have no friends here either (except the ones from highschool) but I suppose that as the time moves on and I talk to the people in my classes. I'll make new friends and whether or not you get close to them depends on them, you, and the time you give to the friendship.

I know that feeling, in fact I'm sure many of us do. First thing I will say.....don't worry! It's a new beginning and changes tend to make us nervous. But the more you panic, the more you're gonna freak out! So just try and relax. It was the first day and first days are always nerve-racking. But you survived it! People rarely make friends the first day, it takes time. Continue talking to people and be friendly. But most importantly.....just be you. I'm sure you will make new friends but just relax and be yourself. Good luck 😊

just be ur self and make people like u for what u truly are instead of acting all cool and everything.........be fashionable but don't make ur self feel uncomfortable....
