And so the wait is over. After the long running flashback, the story finally returns to its present time. Set in Mumbai, Season 2 kicks off.
Radhika wakes up screaming in horror as she sees a snake and opens her eyes again only to see it has disappeared.
<So it's not going to be a love story with just a bhabhi, the threat of naagins is still here ...>
Her Dadi comes in asking her if she's okay and Radhika replies that she saw a snake but her Dadi shrugs it off as she doesn't understand the concept of reincarnation like Radhika does.
<At first I thought at first that Bui Maa has changed but now I've realised, this is her Dadi, a totally different person. Where Bui Maa has gone, I have no idea>
Radhika remembers the time Krish saved her at the cliff and tells her Dadi that she feels like she met Madhav.
<At least they didn't forget that. I was beginning to think that they changed nearly everything ...>
Radhika talks on the phone with her friend and colleague, Neelam as she complains of going to office today to avoid their boss AKA Lady Dracula.
<I was laughing at that because their boss actually does look like a Dracula 😆. She has grey hair with a huge bindi on her forehead that's the size of a coin yet she talks and acts like a young woman 😆>
The two friends leave in a hurry on Neelam's scooter and they crash into a girl AKA Tulsi. Radhika pays Tulsi some money and they leave and to our surprise, the girl turns into a naagin.
<Now who could this naagin be? Someone totally new? Maya's reincarnation? Maya as a little girl in disguise? Because we all know from season 1 how Maya could form into whoever she wants to be>
Lady Dracula gets angry noticing that there's nothing in the CD and even though Radhika tries to explain, she just barks at them in response telling her to shut up. She sets Radhika a challenge to get Krish Malhotra's interview within a month.
<And now I totally see why Radhika and her friends hate her so much>
Radhika, thinking it's an easy task is kept quiet as Lady Dracula explains to them that getting Krish's interview is impossible as he doesn't let anyone. Radhika and Neelam are only given one month to get Krish's interview otherwise they are kicked out.
Krish is shown as a international business tycoon who shifted from America to India only a month ago and whatever Radhika's boss tells Radhika is right. The bodyguards break the media's camera and throw their money onto the floor as no one is allowed to get Krish's photo.
<And now it's crazy to think that I thought of Krish as a prince instead of a business tycoon 😆>
Despite how scary and demanding Radhika's boss was plus the information her colleague, Puneet gives her, Radhika doesn't let herself give up easily as she's determined to get Krish's interview no matter what.
"Get ready Mr. Krish, Radhika is coming ..."
Radhika and her friends head to a bar where Krish performs "Yeh Fitoor Mera" and Radhika stands stunned as she remembers her moments with Madhav in her past birth. She notices a chandelier about to fall on him but saves him in the nick of time. The two stay on the floor staring confused yet somewhat lost into each other's eyes.
After watching the first episode, I must say, I'm totally loving it already. You can tell that CVs have changed the story a bit but the concept remains the same. Let's hope they don't disappoint us now.
Oh, and anyone notice how I changed the colours? Well it's a new season so why the hell not? 😆
Precap:Radhika tries to talk to Krish but he cuts her off and tells to not come close to him next time and leave. Radhika notices some people troubling Tulsi and tells them to get lost. Tulsi tells Radhika that she managed to save her today but who will tomorrow. Radhika offers Tulsi to come to her house. As they leave on the scooter, Krish follows them in his car and Tulsi turns around staring at him with green eyes just like Maya had.
