Episode starts off with Manu thinking as to why Rajkumari (Maya) was acting weird after her parents were mentioned. Manu's getting more and more suspicious each time.
Manu acts casual as Madhav enters the room asking him if he needs anything.
"Can you get me what I want...?"
A simple yet very complex question. Can she?
"I'm Devrakshika. A citizen of your state. I can get anything you ask for.."
Manu seemed confident until this moment.
"I want YOU"
Taken back a little by that reply, Manu explains to Madhav that in this life, she cannot get him as it isn't written in their destiny and should stop asking for the same thing each time.
<Oh... Okay... sure Manu. Whatever you say 😆>
Madhav tells Manu that she has a choice this time and doesn't want to force her like he did last time. Manu as stubborn as she is pushes the sindoor down and shakes her head before walking off.
Until ...
Madhav pushes Manu against the wall angrily refusing to let her go and demands her to not lie about her feelings as her eyes are saying something else.
<Honestly, his mood changed faster than the speed of light 😆 but it felt so good to see old Madhav today. Just when we were wondering where that side of him went, he came! Laksh, you've totally bewildered me today...>
Manu pushes the sindoor away out of Madhav's hands just as he's about to apply it on her forehead exclaiming that she's sworn to fulfil the duties of Devrakshika and can't accept him. In front of the mirror, Madhav declares that from today, their relation is broken and she shall live her life alone. He wipes the remaining sindoor of her forehead before breaking her bangles and storms off leaving Manu in tears.
<I have no words to describe this specific scene. Hats off to LaksHima. Their acting was just A M A Z I N G. What can I say about their expressions... WAH! 👏>
The engagement starts and Manu is told to get Madhav's ring which has been left in Chittogarh's Raja's room. She thinks of the time she married Madhav and without looking, walks into the table knocking the tea cup down. She notices ashes and is sure that a source of black magic has been used.
The chance of the Chittogarh's Raja and Rani finding Maya instead of their daughter, Rooplekha was a hit and miss. Anamika blows the lamp off causing Choti Rani to start her usual taunting again and snatches the aarti taali dropping it onto the floor and Chittogarh's Raja's clothes. Just before the black magic wears off, Maya makes an excuse covering her face and goes to her room.
In the final scene, Manu confronts Maya saying there wasn't enough smoke to make her cough and cover her face. She teases saying the eyes of a human never lies. Human eyes may get blind but can always see what's happening.
<Is it me or has Manu actually found out about Maya and Anamika's game? It seemed likely...>
Today's episode was definitely one of the best. Everything was spot on. MadhVini's scene was so intense. Hope to see many more of those before the flashback ends ...
Precap: Madhav throws Manu onto the bed angrily insisting if she's jealous of his and Maya's marriage and trying to break it. Anamika puts a spell on Manu and sharpens her nails inches from touching Manu ...
