Aadalat completes a year
Be it very professionally or personally, it has been quite a challenging year for actor Ronit Roy. And his show Adaalat completed one year yesterday, we spoke to Ronit about his plans for future, films, personal life and more…
Thrilled about the success of Adalat, he says, "It's a milestone for us. We can't believe that it has been one year already. The show has been going slow and steady. But I am extremely happy with the kind of response, we have been getting. Not only housewives and old people love it but also the kids. We have a different of people watching the show."
Do we expect to see him in another show? "It isn't possible for me to do another show. I don't have enough time. Aadalat keeps me busy," he answers.
Talking about his future plans, he adds, "I recently finished shooting for Deepa Mehta's Midnight Children and Karan Johar's Student Of The Year. So I've those two films releasing next year. I am also doing a few films right now but I can't discuss about them as it's too early."
However, this year has been full of ups and downs for the actor. "I started the year with Filmfare and then met with an accident. This has been a year full of ups and downs for me. We have happy and tough moments. While we keep happy moments as memories, we have to fight the difficult ones. That's life," he explains.
