Feb 5 update : Case of the murderer aatma!

Please don't go by the title.. this is a fun case.. hahahahah

Update

The case starts by a person visiting his uncle's mansion looking to buy it and convert into a 5 star hotel.. they enter the mansion.. at the same time, there's a man who tries to shoot at him but his gun jams.. on their way inside, a female is waiting on the top floor, scheming against the uncle and the nephew. Inside the mansion, the uncle is scared of the ghost that haunts the mansion..they see a figure coming to them..Za the nephew forgets a file in the car and when he goes outside, the nephew picks up a candle stand in order to hit him but it turns out to be the guard of the mansion.. the nephew, Sameer remembers that he's forgotten a file in the car..the gaurd comes out with him but then goes back saying he's forgotten his gun bullets.

When Sameer comes in, his uncle is dead. Sameer is shocked to see him hit by the same candle stand and when he approaches the body, Amrapali's aatma appears and then quickly disappears. The gaurd returns with his son and accuses Sameer of killing his uncle.

The next day,

KD laughs when he reads the matter in the papers that Sameer is blaming an aatma for the murder. Sameer's partner approaches KD for help. KD meets Sameer in jail and tells him not to mention that an aatma has committed the murder as his case will be weakened..

In the first case proceedings, despite all measures, Sameer blurts out that the aatma committed the murder. KD is in a spot. However, Sameer's cousin (same female that night) confesses to being at the haveli that day because she did not want her father to sell the mansion to Sameer and wanted to make sure by being there.. KD wonders what to do next..

KD visits the mansion with Jhilmil and Amrapali's ghost haunts them.. Jhilmil is scared but KD is not.. KD catches a person with a gun at the mansion, the person tells him that he owns a hotel next to this mansion and he did not want the mansion to be sold to Sameer as his hotel would go downhil.. however he says he has not committed the murder.. KD videotapes his encounter with the aatma and then analyzes the footage in his office.

In the next court session,

KD recreates the illusion of Amrapali's bhoot through a light and sound mechanism. Everyone is stunned. The judge says that this cannot be a one man operation. KD tels him that the main reason behind 'Amrapali' was to keep people away from the mansion as there was a opium production on the ground floor via artificial sunlight, a business worth crores which could not be given up. Everyone is shocked.

KD tells the judge that there is only one person who always smelt of this drug whenever he met himm.. and that was the guard of the mansion.. The guard says he has no involvement and that day, Sameer's cousin payed him off to lie in court..

KD calls the gaurd's son.. and asks him to show his hands to court.. KD smells his hand and asks him to explain why it smells of opium.. the son confesses to killing Jhujhar Singh, the uncle.. and that they are a group of 10 people.. and two of them worked in films and that's how they recreated the illusion of Amrapali..

The judge acquits Sameer.. the judge expresses displeasure about KD messing with the court and hands him a fine of Rs.11,000. KD accepts.

At his office,

Sameer asks KD why he wasnt scared on seeing the ghost. KD says he had a bigger fear - of losing the case. The episode ends on a merry note

The precap shows that next week Maya is back.

I hope they have some KD-Maya scenes since it's Valentine Special! :)
