The same man who had followed Adira is wathing Kd's plane crashing.Meanwhile Adira carries all teh details she got from the chinese soldier to group captain Dutta ( Anjali's father). As per the details Ajit did all of it not because of his love but because he was a traitor working for the chinese army for a handsome money. All the calls made to teh Indian number was his. Adira and Dutta learns about KD's plane.
Kd is alive in parachute but is kidnapped by chinese army. In captivity he meets Charwaha's son.A masked man who calls himself Khurnaak meets KD.He explains he has no nationality and has his loyalty is for money only. he has been paid handsomely by the Chinese to do all of it. He released a poisonous gas to kill them both.
Ajit has a bad dream about his courtmartial after Dutta confronts him with all the details. In the trial room new defense lawyer Raghuanshi takes over as Kd is missing. Prosecution puts forward all the details Adira gave them. Ajit is termed a traitor who gae valuale info to the Chinese. Ajit wants to die then to be called a traitor. Kd is back and reveals how he released himself and the boy from Khurnak's capitity.Khurnak's name is known to the airforce but they dont have any other detail about him. Since the boy is there as a witness the panel decides that the matter deserves further investigation and as such the court martial is deferred.
KD meets Ajit. KD believes Khurnak is but an insider and that's why he needs a mask.Also, he is sure his plane was tampered with but he has no proof as of now. Ajit wants KD to meet the radio operator Jha who came to him other day. Jha gives some valuable information to KD. As per him he is suscpicious of flight engineer Manav. Also, he revelas Ajit's plane was more radioactive that day then it should have be. It means it was also tampered with. WHen Kd meets Manav he says he has no knowledge about it and that his uniform was wet that day so he didn't wear it. He further says that Ajit's plane was titled on the right side which means someone had made some changes in the plane.
Charwaha is reunited with his son. He reveals he saw only an explosion after which something had fallen from the Ajit's plane into the Khurnak river( Khurnak got his name from this place )
Dutta asks his daughter to take Kd along to the guest house. In the car KD and Anjali have a conversation which ends abruptly when Anjali chooses to leave the car. The car's driver Rastogi gets the scarf for Anjali. Kd interrogates Rastogi who is a new man in the airforce and finds Dutta very suscpiiocus. Suddenly, KD makes a call to arrange two divers who could do a search operation in the river.
In the guest house KD discusses the case with Adira. Meahwhile details of his plane crash is delivered to him. In the trail room Kd points out how his plane was saboaged. With technology a blak box was installed in his plane which was operated by a remote. This technology was used to malfunction his plane. He shows the pictures as proof. He also states that the same mechanism was used in Ajit's plane. Kd also proves that a dummy missile was installed in Ajit's plane which titled the plane and that the real one that was used to kill Karan was launched trhough a rocket launcher. The dummy missile was then thrown to the river. Prosecutor laughs and asks about the phone calls. Kd says technology can make dummy missiles then why not fake phones. He then hands over the photographs to prove his point. The blue prints of the planes were for the said purpose only.
The case takes a serious turn now because only an insider could do this. Kd says its not an isndier. Its an outsider who is now an insder. KD points his fingers at Rastogi. Rastogi was on leave on account of his sister's marriage. Actually, the real Rasatogi never returned but its Khurnaak who by using Plastic surgery changed his face and took his place at the airbase and then manipulated everything. His two chinese divers were produced with the parts of the dummy missile. He was suscipicious of Rastogi when Rastogi gave that scarf to Anjali. His hand was shaking like the masked man. The real Rastogi never had such an issue.After Kd proves that he knows everything about Rastogi except that his sister is elder to him and not younger as Rastogi said a minute before Khurnaak reveals his real identity. The idea behind the whole thing was instill fear and mistrut amongst the air force personel and thereby breaking their backbone.
Thus, the case was solved.
