Recap:
As we all remember from yesterdya, Aditya has reluctantly decided to take Antara to the orphanage.
Ashtram:
Aditya goes to the orphanage and talks to the lady who owns it. He asks the lady if visitors are allow, and the lady said that the only people who visit are people who want to adopt a child. He also asks if he could make a donation for Antara, and the lady says that he cannot make a donation for one child because it's not fair to all the children. He agrees and says that he'll make sure to make a donation to the ashtram, so that Antara will be well taken care of. The lady kindly assures him that even without a donation the child will be well taken care of, and she tells him not to make a donation. (It's really sad, you can really feel and see Aditya's guilt! đ This man is such a good actor!! đ) Just as she says this, Aditya hears a lady yelling and starts look around to see where is came from. The lady asks about Antara's parents, and Aditya said her mom got killed in an accident. She asks, what happened to her father, and he said he's dead. (He said this so casually and emotionlessly. It's like he really was dead! đ)
Then as Aditya is leaving the ashtram, he sees that leady who was yelling before, yell at this child. She found him hiding in the bathroom after lunch and was infuriated at him. She yelled at him since he was gone no one was there to clean the dishes and that she's going to beat him. đ˛đĄ She carries him off into a room. This really kills Aditya to see! đ (Poor guy as it is he feels horrible about leaving Antara in orphanage, and now he is not sure if this orphange is good enough for her! đ)
Out Looking at the City:
Aditya is out somewhere looking over the city and thinking. (This scene was really good because you can really feel his dilemma not just see it. You can see how much he loves Vidhya and Abhishek. You can also see how much he loves Antara too! Leaving her at the orphange is tearing him up inside because he's not a person who runs away from his problem. I really feel that it's a sacrifice on his part, and I hope Vidhya sees this! đĄ)
Aditya goes to a store and looks at frocks and shoes for Antara. He wants to get a a big stuffed bear, but it was Rs. 1500. Aditya sais he did not have that much money right now, and the shop keeper suggested he get it some other time. Aditya repeats later.....?
Vidhya's Parents' House:
Vidhya's mom sits down and tries to reason with Vidhya. She basically tries to make Vidhya see things with maturity and an open perspective. She shows Vidhya Abhishek's pain and yearning for his father, and she makes Vidhya realize that she still loves Aditya. She makes Vidhya admit that Aditya loves her a lot and is a good person. She also tells Vidhya that your anger should not be at that little girl but at Anuradha, but she's dead. (I really love her mother! She agrees that Vidhya has a right to be mad, but she also shows her daughter her fault in breaking her family! Great scene! đ)
Aditya's House:
Sameer is there taking care of Antara. She has drawn several picture, and Sameer is admiring them! She then starts tapping her paper with a pencil very loudly, and Sameer asks her what she needs. He then figures out that she wants more paper to draw on, but then the doorbell rings. Sameer goes to answer it while Antara is still tapping at her paper. A very haggard and guilty Aditya walks in.
Sameer asks Aditya how the orphanage was, and Aditya retorted back with how is an orphanage supposed to be? Sameer is at a loss of words and doesn't know what to tell his friend, and he expresses this to Aditya and tells him that he really wants to help him. Aditya tells Sameer how in the orphanage he proclaimed himself as dead and did not feel anything...no guilt or pain. He starts crying and feeling guilty about how his daughter is going to go to the orphanage, and he cannot do anything to help her. (This whole scene just kills me! I mean, I TOTALLY understand what Aditya is going through. I mean one side he has his wife and son and the other side he has his daughter. He is incomplete without either side! đ) Sameer tries to console him by saying just think if you didn't know about Antara, but then Aditya snaps bakc as says but I do know about her! Then Sameer quickly says you're saving your family, and then Aditya bitterly replies by telling Sameer that he only loves Abhishek. He told Sameer if something happened to Abhishek he would be devastated, but since it's Antara, that's why he doesn't care! Aditya futher says that maybe if I thought like you, I wouldn't feel guilty! A perplexed and now guilty feeling Sameer starts to says that I didn't mean it that way, but then Aditya storms off to his room.
Aditya comes out a few seconds later, and then takes Antara to the Guptas' store.
Gupta's Store:
Aditya tells Antara to wait next to the scooter, and she rocks back and forth next to the scooter. Mrs. Gupta is there and warmly welcomes Aditya. He asks her if she has cornflakes, and she says yes, how many boxes do you need? Aditya gets confused and baffled by this question, and then he explains that he's dropping Antara to the orphanage and wants enough cornflakes to last her forever. (This a really cute gesture, and I know he's trying to lessed his guilt by doing this too!) Mrs. Gupta was shocked to hear that and goes to get the cornflakes, but she only had six boxes. She askes if Vidhya knows, and he said no. He asks how much the cornfakes were, and Mrs. Gupta said it was a gift from her behalf to Antara. He thanked her and went home wtih Antara.
Aditya's House:
Aditya takes Antara to her room and takes down a bag to pack. Antara is sitting on her bed rocking back and forth. Aditya sits next to her and explains that they are going to play a game. He tells her that they are going on a vacation (Chooti pe jayenge). He asks her if she's going to follow the rules, and she replies with, "Nahin." She leaves the room saying, "Chooti pe jayenge, Chooti pe jayenge, Chooti pe jayenge". Aditya calls after her while crying and says if you don' listen we can't go! She still saying, "Chooti pe jayenge" repeatedly. He also says "Haan chooti pe jayenge. Jaana parega!" đ He tells her there will be lots of kids for her to play with, but Papa won't be there! đ He told her the rule was that Antara cannot cry! đ He breaks down crying and the show ends on Antara's face. (She has stopped saying "Chooti pe jayenge"
I would give this episode a 9/10! đ Great acting by Aditya! đ I highly reccommend watching today's episode! It really show and explains a lot about the dilemma and confusion in Aditya's mind! I'd really hate to be in his position! đ The mom-Vidhya scene was nice too! đł I think Vidhya will come back and bring Antara from the ashtram! đ
