honestly, in america it is taking over the dulhaan slot which is the main slot. i dont think a show lik this should take it up. autism is such a touchy subject and i dont think it should be transformed into a serial. its such a play off of taare zameen par. its going to be lik an emotional outbreak everyday.
i personally am not going to like it especially as the main show. its too touchy

Hi I work as and Special Education Assistant and right now i am working with a grade 7 boy who has Autism. I was telling his mom about this show and she said tshe is happy to see the indian community focusing on such topics rather that the typical saas bahu love triange etc etc dramas. In my opinion the western communities are so educated in these subjects because someone dares to be different and creates shows and movies on these topics and brings them to light...after that the public forms their own opinions and thoughts. I think this show will be great for the Indian community. I see many Indian parents who refuse to accept labels like autism because they feel it is a disease...they don't know how to relate to thier child etc etc. I hope this show sheds some light on this topic and creates a lot of awareness. After working with this type of disorder on a daily basis I can't wait to see this show.

i am a Physician and deal with Autistic cases on a day to day basis. Although in USA, almost everyone is aware of Autism, Its still a mystery to many in India. Autism is much different from Dyslexia as shown in Taare Zaamen ke. I think a show like this will give some insight about a life of autistic child and hopefully will change Indian's perspective about special kids. Though Antara has a mild form of Autism ( She smiles and gets irritated somethings, most kids are totally emotionless and treats humans like objects. ) Most people get scared seeing a mentally challenged child and try to keep off from them, but I hope a show like this emphasizes how important is love and care in order to treat such a case.

I am very much pleased to see that creative directors are thinking out of the box and entertaining as well as educating us through such a serial......

It is a very sensitive topic, it needs very careful handle of things in terms of story of the show and TRP which is the main objective of any show now days, PH can do anything to achieve the number. If they handle the show in a sensible manner then I think people will also like it and it has lot of opportunity to aware the Indian mass regarding these kind of disorders, as most of us have very less or no knowledge at all of these problems and its related issues. But agreed its very touchy & emotional subject for a daily show. Hopefully they executed the show well. All the Best to AA team.

I completely agree with you. Saas Bahu shows, first of all do not focus on any reality because they stretch them to the point where any woman with self respect would not handle the turmoil they go through and second it completely ruins the mentality of what a relationship means. Marriage has no value in such shows esp when it comes to a woman or man getting married 3 or 4 times. These situations such as autism, bring out the reality and it educates people that do not understand the signs of such a disorder. They do not understand that in such cases the child is not dumb or being disobedient, but in fact they are in a different world, their minds are different from other children. I hope that this show helps educated teachers as well to notice signs of autism so they can encourage the best for them and not put them down.
