I am a gujju but not from surat but know a lot about surat district as where I live in UK, lots of people from surat so have enjoyed their cuisine and also made them at home

Since we are talking about food, I like khaman very much. I like that mustard seed onion etc syrupy thing that they put on the khaman ! YUMMM

Wow shobhi and sharon...even outside india u guys are able to enjoy the food of your choice...AD loves gujraati food alot,...do u both have knowledge about it...i want to make it for my piya and sharon ...do u tried that 2 minutes sandwich...

Sonali, yes we get a lot of variety here. And its really nice too. Some are very close to the authentic ones in India. Others less authentic. But at least if you miss the khana, there is something you can have.

Ohh I didnt tell you na, I actually tried it. I didnt use malai, I used the ready made cream we buy from the supermarket here and added the tadka (onions etc ) , it turned out nice !

hi sharon. call me shobhi. where do you live?? Not just khaman, but even their sev khamani is yummy. Understand it's a must on menu at either engagement or one of the wedding ceremony

Is anirudh a gujju or marathi brahman??
