that's an advantage. watching without ads. enjoy ur holidays😊I stay in India. Hyderabad. I will miss the show 3 days as i am working part time from 4pm to 8pm. i watch the repeat next day at 2pm. yes. 7pm is early coz many will be returning from work at that time. In south india people prefer to watch regional channels and serials more than hindi.

Hyderabad!!! How fab! When I hear of Hyderabad , the first thing I think about is biryani!! Lol. Im originally from Malaysia and we are heavily influenced by South Indian food and culture there. So I love my biryanis and idli tosai although I'm punjabi. Lol.

Really but it's so easy to come across it. I googled up voting for nach from Australia and I came across this. I'm sure stars google up on themselves too na. So they should know ??? But maybe many don't coz they don't wanna read about themselves in case someone says something really hurtful.

they work for 12-15 hrs for their daily soaps so lack of time may be a reason.

Lol can u imagine as a punjabi growing up in Malaysia , I didn't even know rajma and paneer and butter chicken existed until I came to Australia to study. Lol. When I was growing up in Malaysia there was a handful of North Indian restaurants but there were all fine dining ones. Now the scene has changed. Now there r more North Indian joints in Malaysia. In Malaysia our dhabas are called mamaks and they are predominantly run hydrabadi Muslims so the khana that we are used to is biryanis and lots of currys!!! Gosh lucky visha is there in Msia. Aiyo visha have some nasi kandar on my behalf la. No nasi kandar here in Oz la. hehehe we are so going off topic here on the trp forum. 😆

Hi Chinyere, yes, you are entitled to feel the way you do. I respect it. 😊 And I bet there are people out there who think like you.

But when I made that statement, modern twist means Sona does not join the bandwagon of the working bahus and bully Neelam around, au contraire , her character takes it upon her to do the opposite from what the mom in law wants and try to bring about some changes in the dysfunctional family. She goes against the mom in law but politely in the hope of changing the mum in laws mentality for the better. unlike the other dramas where the mom in law dictates everything. Besides, have you read the writters interview ? It was something along the lines of the plot is your traditional saas bahu family BUT with the bahu coming in and going against some of the traditional norms of that household. And the traditional norm of that household is brought about by the rather dysfunctional family members ie: the greedy mom in law, the bribe loving son in law etc and how Sona's character goes about in trying to change them for the better. The plot was never about a modern family and their ways of life. If thats what you are after, then yeah this serial may not be for you then.

My friends here in Australia seem to like the series too. Everyone has one thing to say, thank god this serial makes you laugh coz it mocks the silly behaviors of the dysfunctional family. I dont think the writer wants people the take dysfunctional-ness seriously. Its there for the gags and also part of the story line. Also, for once, everyone doesnt go around scheming and plotting against everyone else. Yes the gas cylinder was some form of scheming but it only happened once. And thank god there was also that episode where Sona told Devika that fairness creams DONT work ! LOL ! And being fair is not everything.

I hope I clarified the modern twist bit hun.
