It's a dead horse, folks! You can't expect FRIENDS/Frasier TRPs from a show like 24. It's not a mass market show, but something far more specific. It's not a TRP-hungry show, but a quality show. Any kind of junk gets TRPs for a while, but won't last long. What 24 can't make in TRPs, it can make in merchandise and home video sales.

There can't be a Salman Big Boss action figure or Big Boss home makeover, or even costumes from Uttaran and Pavitra Rishta, and nobody is keen on home video either, but 24 toy guns and JSR action figures will sell well, and 24 is a show for which you will need your own home video package.

The sad fact is today everything on Indian TV is based on TRPs. Its reached such a state that whole storylines are turned around just to get better numbers.

Tej: Our TRPs are falling fast. We are in danger of getting locked out. Gill does not tolerate non-performers.

Plus guys, we have had a huge jump in ranking (IF)...

Keep hitting the rating button at five, folks! TRPs are not the only thing that make a good show.

Even if I don't comment regularly I religiously hit the Chaska Meter, like, every single day 😆

Hitting the CM is the easiest thing and we shall always do it!! Atleast kuch nahi toh ye hi sahi!!
