The 11th Annual Eastern Bridal Fair will take place at the Durban Exhibition Centre from Saturday, 7th to Monday, 9th August 2010.

This year, the Fair will be expanded to 150 stalls, giving patrons access to a wider variety of goods and services. Adding a touch of glamour to the Bridal Fair this year is the presence of high profile personalities from India who will participate in this year'sevent ' world class fashion designers, popular ZEE TV stars, top choreographers and a talented Bollywood child star.

Exhibitors will be displaying the latest trends in clothing; products and services associated with weddings, giving potential brides and grooms the opportunity to select the perfect elements for their weddings. All ladies attending the Fair will receive the full colour, glossy 200-page Eastern Bride Magazine.

The Eastern Bridal Fair will also see the return of its highlight ' the much anticipated fashion dance extravaganza which promises to be glitzier and more entertaining this year and which will be showcasing the designs of India's leading fashion designers Vikram Phadnis and Bennu Sehgal along with local designers. The show is choreographed by Tripti Master and Ankit Tanna of the renowned Shiamak Davar's Institute for the Performing Art who have just returned from the IIFAs in Sri Lanka.

The Eastern Bridal Fair will be enhanced this year with the presence of popular Bollywood and Indian television stars. Dharsheel Safary, the 12 year old Bollywood sensation who will perform in the fashion extravaganzas over the weekend, received the Best Actor Award for his performance in Amir Khan's Taare Zameen Par and recently starred in Bumm Bumm Bole and has just completed a film for Disney. The stars of Zee TV's Karol Bagh, Abhi and Simmi will also be in attendance at the Bridal Fair.

The Eastern Bridal Fair has all the elements for comprehensive wedding preparations and will be bigger and better than ever before. It will run from 7 to 9 August and will be open from 10.00am to 10.00pm daily. Fashion extravaganza will be performed each day at 12 noon, 3.00pm, 6.00pm and 8.00pm. Tickets will be available at the door at R50.00 per person while children under 12 years old will be admitted free-of-charge.
