Episode 5 The first Date.

Simi finds rickshaw she feels very sad remembering what anita said about her. She is wondering herself now: Do I really dress like grand mother and look like Abhi's mother? Oh God! That may be the reason every one rejects me. Ma is also after me for my dressing sense. But then who cares? And who is Anita? why do I care what she says? she is abhi's spoiled sister. Who has no respect for any one? I don't think she even cares for her brother the way she was talking to him. First she hurts him physically causing that accident and now she is hurting him emotionally. She does not even know what is my relation with abhi and she teases him like I am having an affair with him. Oh God how sick this girl is. Poor abhi he is having a sister like her. He seems like a very nice person. He does not deserve such sister. She does not even value him. I really feel sorry for abhi. Abhi is such a nice wonderful person .

Please matarani help him recover soon. When he recovers I will offer Prasad. I don't like him hurting. I really care for him. and I hate his sister. But his mother seems like a nice person I hope she does not think of me and abhi having anything between us except that we work together and may be we are friends. how would I face her again?. Anita is a horrible person. Matarani what is happening. First I got hurt and now abhi did in car acciedent . That too in the same week. We are coming closer. I hope his jeep is ok. I really like that burgundy jeep. I will ask him when I meet next time. Matarani where is my dream jeep and my prince charming. Tumne mera sapna pura nahi karna tha to dikhaya hi kyun. Ye thik nahi hai. Matarani mai 28 ki ho chuki hun. Meri umar me ladkiyon ko 2-3 bachhe hote hai. Aur meri to shadi bhi nahi huyi. No wonder Ma is upset,. Batao kab mila rahi ho muje apne prince charming se.

She attends few classes and leaves early so she can meet Abhi;s teachers. She calls Mrs Saxeana and asks for help saying Abhi is injured in car accident and tells her how he helped her when she was lying on the road. Simi arrives at the university. They have staff meeting in 30 minutes. So simi get to meet most of abhi;s professor and collects all the material for missed 2 days and next week's few lecture notes. Simi makes Xerox copies of them. She asks Manju to meet at temple. Simi comes to the temple and pray for Abhi's well being. Pujari gives her Prasad and some flowers when simi says: some one is injured and in the hospital. Simi is happy. Maju arrives and they both heads to the hospital.. Manju asks about Abhi. Simi says; he is better.

Anusha thanks her and ask for her mom. Simi replies: auntiji she is here in the hospital . She found some one she knew so she went to visit her, She is coming back. I brought some class work for abhi so he can catch up. What did doctor say? Would he be able to attend college soon? Don't worry I can bring him all the work from college till he gets better and I can help you and him with anything.

Anusha says: thanks beta you are so sweet. Sorry about this morning.. Simi replies: aunty don't worry, it is all forgotten. Where is Ma? Manju shows up they talk for a while. Anusha gives back simi's dabba and tiffin box thanking her.

Manju replies: abhi is like my son. No need to thank me. He is a sweet child, We all love him. I don't know what would have happened to my simi that day. Matarani ne abhi ko uski madad ke liye bhej diya. We are so thankful. We live closeby. If you need any help call me. Manju hands her phone number. They say bye and leave.

Simi arrives home. She helps manju cook and does her college work. They have dinner and she is laying in the bed thinking about the whole day. She is thinking about abhi and his jeep. She remembers she forgot to ask him about it. She is debating should she call him or not and her phone rings. It is abhi on the phone.

Abhi says: simiji sorry I forgot to thank you and auntiji. I ate the halwa you made it was delicious. Sach me aapke hatho me jadoo hai. Mom liked it too. She was saying that you have to teach her how to make such delicious halwa. Thanks for all the material and notes. You are so kind loving caring and so sweet. Did we get any more students for your project? When are we startinging. I am truly looking forward to work with you and I like to be group leader if possible. This is truly going to be great experience as it is so interesting and what I learn in process is definitely going to help me and my dad running his business. I am so glad I met you. I really enjoy your company and spending time with you, I feel like know you for years. When I barely know you for few days. Simiji sorry we will not be able to take your pictures Sunday as we plan. May be next week.

Simi says: abhi do't worry about it. We will do it when you are better. Yes we found few more students and I am sure you will be a group leader. I am also looking forward to working with you. I am sure we will have so much fun working together. When do you think you will be able to come back to college? If you need any help meawhile call me . I will talk to Mrs. Saxea about you willing to be a group leader. I am sure we will make great team. I too feel like I know you for years and always enjoy taking to you. You are such a nice person. One more thing don't be too upset with your sister because of me. You know I don't care If ppl talk such way about me. Anita will change once she gets to know me better. Good night sweet dream. You should rest now.

Abhi says: good ight sweet dreams simiji. I will be able to attend classes in 2-3 days. Thanks for everything. Bye. Take care.

Simi says: Bye abhi. You too. Simi hangs up the phone . She starts thinking about all that is happening between her and Abhi and why she likes to meet and talk to him ad why she keeps thiking about him and his jeep. She prays Matarani please help me solve this new puzzle and what is my relation with him I work with almost same age students , Mujhe aaj tak kisise lagav nahi hua. Phir abhi ke sath aisa kyun? Jab se mili hun jane kyun mai isike bare me soch rahi hun. Abhi sirf 22 ka aur mai 28 ki. Ye kya ho raha hai. Oh god mai pagal ho jaoungi. Ya mai sach me pagal ho gayi hun. Mujhse 6 saal chhote ladke ke baare me sochna pagalpan to hai.

Simi closes her eyes and prays for herself abhi and her family and goes to sleep. She again see the dream where she is walking in the woods and a burgundy jeep is coming towards her. Suddenly a big truck comes from opposite direction and hits jeep. jeep crashes into tree with driver falling out of jeep/. Simi runs there and finds Abhi lying in the pool of blood. She tries to wake up abhi but he is not getting up. Simi screams Abhi utho loudly and she wakes up shaking badly.

Manju and RS comes rushing. Simi tells Manju about her dream, Manju says: simi because we went to meet him hospital that is why you had such dream, abhi will be fine. Simi decides to call him next day and goes back to sleep.

Simi calls abhi in the morning to find out he is fine. She decides not to visit him because of anita.. 3 more days passes. Simi goes to ms. Saxena to find out about her project and gets good new they already have 10 students. She submits guideline and hopes abhi comes back. she does not want to start her information session without him. But She is shocked when Ms. Saxena tells her she saw Abhi in the University today. She tells Ms. Saxena we can start the session today after your class. She agrees. She also tells her abhi wanted to be a group leader. Ms Saxena replies: let us watch every one fot first few sessions then we will decide, But I surely like his enthusiasm. Simi agrees. She waits in the library getting the material ready and making copies to give it to students. Who are working on her project. She is looking forward to meet all students but she is anxious to meet abhi to find out how he is doing?

She reaches the class room 5 minutes before it ends and waits outside. Ms saxena asks her to come inside and take a seat. Simi looks at abhi and smile. Ms. Saxena excuses her class room and asks students to wait who have signed up to work on Simi's project.

Simi starts the session giving the information and ask every student to choose a day to meet . They all decide on Friday evening after ms. Saxena's class .which is next day. Every one leaves except abhi and simi. Abhi talks to Ms. Saxena about things he missed. Abhi then waits outside. Simi talks to Ms saxena about conducting session and delegating responsilities. Ms Saxena leaves the room. Simi is walking outside. She sees abhi seating near the exit on the bench. She asks: Abhi what are you doing here? Abhi says: I was wating for you. I am really bored and tired today and yet do not want to go home and rest. I missed talking to you and I wanted to thank you for the dinner, Lumch breakfast and all the help you gave me. I like to spend some time with you. and discuss lots of things. Do you have some time? .I truly need a good company, I am totally messed up in my mind. You are the best person I want to be with now. I need some cheering . Let us say I am depressed may be it was hospital. I won't feel bad if you say no or you are busy. After what my sister said to you. I won't be surprised if you said no and I understand. But please don't say no pretty please. It is hard to spend whole day in college with no friend, and then find your best friend.

Simi says: Abhi did you find your best friend today? Great then why are you so upset?

Abhi moves his eyes around naughtily and says: Yes I did at the end of the day. Thank God. I found you . I was going out of my mind seriously. You are my best friend. I feel that way since you came to meet me. Simiji meri best friend banogi na? Sach aapse kuch bhi kahe sakta hoon ekdum honestly. I can use your company today. So what say? Would you care to join me in riding together.

Simi is very happy but jokes: abhi mai tumhari best friend. Sure but I am not sure you want to tag me along. I look much older and mature. Student your age may not like to be caught dead with some one like me.. Abhi intrupts being angry : simiji aaj bola to bola phir se nahi kahen . Varna mai aapse baat nahi karunga. I respect you and like you very much. I would be honored and proud to call you my best friend. Please do not insult my intelligence and yourself. You hurt me. You think I am just like my sister a shallow mindless person. Abhi walks away.

Simi says" abhi sorry I am real sorry. I did not mean that. You don't know how happy I feel. I never thought a boy your age want me to tag along with him and want my company and not think I am boring plain old lady. Abhi says: Plz stop that. You are a wonderful amazing beautiful sweet girl. Ms. Sethi. And I love to hang out with you any time of day and any where. Infact why don't we go somewhere right now. I like to invite you to have cup of tea with me I owe you a lot for all you did for me sort of date. Would you care to go out with me?

Simi says: abhi I am truly honored. Let us go/ They sit in rikshaw. Abhi closes his eyes. Simi is thinking: oh my god this boy is way faster than I imagine and what does he mean my date and I am his best friend. Is he feeling that kuch kuch hota hai for me too? I need to be careful around him. Am I giving him the mixed signal or is he speaking his mind? I am truly honored . I need to know him better. He sounds so genuine. I like the way he raises my confidence and self esteem and make me proud of myself. She mumbles: Oh abhi I truly adore you now.

Abhi opens his eyes and says: simiji did you say something?. Simi says: No abhi. They arrive at temple. Simi buys Prasad and offer to matarani. She gives to abhi saying: Abhi maine tumhare liye mannat mangi thi. Tumhare accident ke bare me sunke dar jo gayi thi. Give this to your mom. She gives some pradad to him.

Abhi says: thanks simiji. I am so happy you care for me as well. You remind me of my best friend smriti from my college. We were such a good friends but always argued about things. I truly miss her and now even miss her more as she is getting married soon. I am happy she is very happy with her fiance. And I found you. I told her about you and she was very happy. She said Hi to you. Simi is shocked abhi is talking to her friends about her. Abhi asks: simiji to hum ja rahe hai na for cup of coffee. Simi looks at watch it is 5-30. She says: Ok abhi we will go for an hour.

They stop by at small coffee house and start talking Simi jokes about abhi having a girl friend. Abhi denies it. Abhi then offers to take her pictures on Sunday like he promised as he would like to start driving. Simi says; abhi you should rest. Abhi replies: I will be bored doing all the homework and studying and would like to go out. Sunday will be perfect day as doctor told me I can start driving from next week. We won't go for long ride. Simi says: That is fine , I like to ask you a favor. I like to buy some clothes of your choice. Not because of your sister, But also to get my mom off my back. I am sure your taste in clothes is better than mine. Abhi smiles and agrees. They decide to go after college next day. It is 9 pm already. Manju calls her. Simi is shocked she spent 3 hour with abhi and felt like she can spend more time. She says bye to abhi.

Next day they had their first session. Abhi impresses every one including Ms saxena. They go to some fancy shop. Abhi helps simi choose some clothes Simi is delighted the way she looks and thanks him she invites him for cup of coffee. They loose track of time talking again.. It is 9 pm again. Abhi asks her to wear one of the outfit for photo shoot and to keep her hair open. Simi first refuses then she agrees.

Sunday, abhi comes to get simi. They plan to meet at the temple. Abhi is not able to recognize simi when he passes by her, Simi is praying with her eyes closed. Abhi is staring at her. Simi looks much younger with her hair open. Abhi feels like he has met a most beautiful woman with innocent face .When he is about to ring bell, Simi does the same unknowingly and their hands meet again. Simi is shocked when she looks back. Abhi is standing there smiling. Abhi says: let us go simiji.

In the jeep abhi is admring simi as she is bothered by her hair flyig around her face. She closes her eyes. Abhi hands her other pair of his sunglases. Simi wears them and now she is looking at him She enjoys watching abhi as he looks so happy. Simi feels like hugging him. She is shocked beyond belief how that idea came in her mind. She feels like Abhi has taken over her brain completely. She blushes. Meanwhile abhi is thinking same way: Oh my god!! she is so beautiful and irresistible. She looks even better with her hair open wearing my sunglasses. Her face is perfect red I feel like kissing her rosy red cheeks. Oh god she is very gorgeous and irresistible. I should not be thinking like this. She is my friend. He turns on the radio the song plays
