Exactly when mili is ready to tell why lie to simi on the phone and then make up lies after lies to cover his first lie. Vishal knew something was going on as he was looking at both abhi and mili.Originally posted by: Laila2009
It's clear the CVs would have really done a shoddy job of handling the rape with the advice that Abhi gave Mili. It's also VERY contrary to the advice he gave Simi when Rajeev Bhala attempted to rape her.
I guess that in the west things are done differently so I ask audience members why some things were not done. In the west when a woman is raped, you make a police report ASAP. Nakul is lying in some ditch wounded, he could not get up and attack Mili so how is he going to walk to his car? IF the police were smart and had a forensic unit, they would have visited the house, taken pictures, and collected evidence. THEN, if they had a rape crisis unit, Mili would have received the emotional support necessary. Then, she would have been taken to a hosipital and checked out for any wounds. She would NOT have been charaged for hurting Nakul as it would have been done in self-defense.Nakul would have been arrested and Mili would have gone home. There she would have showered and changed and if she was in an emotionally stable state, gone ahead with her roka. Plus she would have been able to be assured that the poilce would be well informed about the attempt (by Nakul) to have murdered her sister and brother-in-law.But in India and Zeetv world, Abhi advises Mili to keep it all a secret until AFTER the Roka when all the evidence would have been gone. What kind of advicee is that?!? And how is Mili still sitting with her clothes on after that rape - doesn't she smell? Does she not feel gross? Most rape victims want to get out of their clothes. And why aren't her clothes dirty? And why doesn't anyone notice her missing sleeve? And the pre-cap? Simi is one to talk about sisters sharing information!?! She certainly set a good example with her own behavior with Rajeev Bhala and his attempt to rape her.For Abhi to advise that Mili keep a secret of this kind from Vishal is also VERY VERY wrong. He has a right to know and more so, Abhi should NOT be encouraging secrets when he is so upset with Simi keep secrets from HIM!
Ok after simi experience he has changed that is fine. Then why is he still angry at Simi when he is doing the same to her? Why can;t he be nicer? Are they even having differnet standards how man are treated when they lie and hide the facts from their spouses then when women are treated?
First and foremost, I am not afraid of being singled out.😊Originally posted by: Laila2009
You have missed the whole story as to understand why Abhi is angry at Simi? She kept a secret from him and failed to tell him that she had been propositioned by Rajeev Bhala. He's upset with her for that reason. I know you are a Simi supporter but sometimes you have to take of your rose colored glasses and accept the fact that Simi has really messed up as his wife. The whole forum sees it other than yourself so why are you forcing this agenda of Simi as the helpless victim down everyone's throats? Don't you think we can all figure this story out for ourselves? 😃Despite the wrong advise Abhi gives Mili, his anger is justified - it is his protrayal of that anger that is not. However, if he is upset with what Simi has done, he should NOT be giving the wrong advise to Mili - that is a HUGE mistake on part of the writers unless they are now heading in the direction of making Abhi look like a bigger fool than we had aniticipated. Perhaps the want to make Abhi look he was WRONG for getting upset and Simi look justified for keeping a secret. I am sure that will make your day. 😉
What did he lie to her about? The person whom he should be MOST concerned about is Mili. If Mili wants to disclose anything then it is HER choice. If she wants to keep everything quiet, then Abhi is obligated to do just that. The problem is that Abhi has called the shots. The person whom he should be most worried about is Mili and how it will affect her when it comes to keeping it a secret. What does Simi have to do with it all? What does Simi have to do with all of this and how can THIS be equated in the same lines as to what Simi chose to do? That was a matter between THEM – Abhi and Simi. The current matter relates to Mili.
But then we know simi won;t be like abhi as she has no back bone to stand up for herself . She has so far not stood up to any one. She rather stand up and fight for others. She will take any crap from any one for herself except that one time she made RB black and blue. Even that time she had gone to fight for her home.
No, Simi will NOT fight for others. She will not stand up for anyone. It was ONLY through her experiences with Abhi that gave her the courage stand up. Prior to Abhi entering into her life, Simi didn't even have voice. Are you saying that SIMI is going to speak for Mili? LOL. She's one to give advice; she was not only willing to be silent but sign an affidavit absolving RB from raping her. What did she think, that he would not rape her after they got married? Dimwitted character.
Abhi understood and yes he has right to be angry and I never denied simi did any right by hiding the fact, I kept insisting she should tell him about RB's proposal/. But then now abhi behaving holier than thou after hiding and lying and still talking to her angirly isn;t that make him a hypocrite?
YES and NO. He's wrong in keeping it a secret but NOT from Simi. This is NOT a secret between them. If anyone should be told it should be Vishaal.
May be it is his guilt that is making him hide this from simi and every one.
he does not want to tell her that he lost his job and also he denied mili help as he was too upset and becuase he could not help mili and she almost got raped.
And if that is the reason, then they've dragged Abhi's character deeper into the mud than we can imagine.
So abhi wants to hide this for his own reasons as nothing else makes sense,
He is a good person and feeling real bad at the moment and feeling responsible for mili's condition. It happens to all of us. if we say no to some one for something and then something bad happens to them. it feels real bad.
The best example would be a car accident in houston few years ago.
A mother asked son to get food from Taco bell as she was too tired from shopping trip . Son asked her to go along and that he will drive. But she did not and then the son getting in car accident and dying to her horror and she happens to come to find him and see him dead on the spot living with a gulit of killing her own son.
Why should Abhi feel guilty about anything? Yes, it was wrong of him not to have gone to get her but it she, Mili was in a safe place. It was her decision to confront Nakul. As soon as Abhi realized she was in danger he came to her aid. Abhi is NOT responsible for what happened to Mili and neither is Mili responsible for what happened to herself. The only person to blame is NAKUL. I don't know why that would be so hard to figure out.
Whatever reason Abhi has for keeping it a secret is a dumb approach by the CVs.
I abslolutely agree as we know it is going to backfire on abhi's face when mili is going to ruin her own roka. I don;' know what they are trying to do and abhi keep saying no to her and vishal is very suspicious as mili is not herself. At this rate vishal is more bothered than simi is.Originally posted by: Laila2009
