Then again was the sandwich fight when she called him bachcha and he said..mai itna bhi bachcha nahi hoon ki duniyadaari nahi samjhoon.

So our Simi dear did have an idea ....just that she did not take him seriously. Abhi being the sweet person has told her in many ways he does not like being called a kid. But Simi is Simi...Kya karen???

Let's dissect it piece by piece now from the Qutab Minar scene when they were just introduced and didn't even know each others name . True friendship is a plant of slow growth. The seed was just planted so when Simi called him betcha his reaction more of a surprise as would be between friends .
The next time they met was when he wanted her to bunk the college and forget about her job and her preplanned lecture just to have the BAGOOTAR PANA with him and he shouted it from the top of the car when she called him a betcha and at the same note a bagootar his feelings were intact at least he seemed to cover them very well. He asked Simi why don't you try this bagootar pana and have fun with me which at that point of her life given was needed.

At their henna ceremony in the master bedroom another confrontation with the betchpana scene he didn't resist but confirmed being betcha but what to do because of him being betcha he can take the liberty to love her so passionately without any fears or worries unlike her who has to think for her family first and he his LOVE

At the wedding when he kidnaps Simi and being called betcha again in his mind he is trying to be her friend and even after her retaliation and calling him betchapana he tells her may be it is batchpana but it is not WRONG so he still didn't disagree with her also. And I full agree with you

NOW........ the sandwich scene by now they are married for how long?3months and Simi calls him betchon jaisi harkaten mat karo and his reply Itna bhi betcha nahi hoon ki duniayadaari nahi samajh sakoo but still even though not liking it, he was not blunt or straightforward with her .
His voice got muffled with all the notes of their interactions later after that scene and should have been addressed by the creatives properl y because this was the first time after marriage he was called betcha. Now Mesimi we the viewers are left to remember that he is who he is a 22year old and Simi a 28 or what 30 year old . I wholeheartedly agree with you the sandwich scene should have been properly explored and addressed and the issue should have been elaborated or bring to viewers attention then but no they failed us miserably .

Now this time to my knowledge first time Simi used the betcha word in a gathering for him and Abhi had every right to retaliate but sometimes being direct helps especially with a personality like Simi and let us see if this time it worked because SIMI TO SIMI HAI

I think there is a limit of her calling him bachha
and At a serious issue where RB is looking at his wife from top to bottom and coming close to her It will be horrible for Abhi to stay there and watch that cheap character drool over Simi...

He was not being a bacha there he was angry and would really bash up Rb if that hawaldaar wasn't there

So this was the right time Simi got to know that calling him bvachha has to be stopped otherwise she can tleave him and go

he also know being married and taking responsibility is somthing
Its been only her family problems which he is also being pulled otherwise he would have set a life for himself long back during the stay at Omi's dhabba or some arrangements as could'nt be roaming on the streets

Agree with you shanti this betcha calling should be stoppped now and forever. But they should talk about it seriously and come to an understanding and no no one should go. Try to work it out would be better.🥱

WOW MeSimi thanks for pointing out all these scenes - you are 100% right - I think a few people are trying to blame Abhi for his outburst and making Simi look like the innocent one, but as we see here, Simi knew well how Abhi felt.
