I don't know why some people think what Simi is doing is admireable, noble or because she is caught between her mother and the pressures of a knocked up sister. Think carefully.
Simi agrees to marry RB and now Nukul for her family. She, in essence, has agreed to sleep with men she does not love in return for what? Family honor, protection etc. Just because the whole act is cloaked with a marriage doesn't make it any different from prostituting yourself or selling yourself. Just because there is no actual exchange of money doesn't mean that we cannot call it was it is.
The fact that she is willing to do all this twice and perhaps a third time since Manju doesn't like her anymore, and knowing Simi, if Nukul tries to end the Omi-Neetu alliance, she will jump at the chance.
A woman who so readily agrees to sleep with men for the sake of her family is not an admirable a woman. The rationale given for these marriages (so that another sibling can marry) is ludicrous. Also, the fact that Simi is not even the slightest bit bothered that she has to sleep with these men astounds me.
If I were Abhi I would marry her and pimp her out since she has ZERO respect for herself😛. A woman who has honor and respect for herself would hold her ground and refuse such alliances. I cannot fathom how Simi is someone whom I would have any sympathy. She does nothing to prevent any of these alliances, and as a result she holds no respect in my eyes.
Had Simi really fought tooth and nail against them and was seriously in a horrific bind and there was no Abhi to help her out of the mess she was in, then I would say, you know, I really feel for her. But when she has a father, a sister, a boyfriend, all there to help her, what is her excuse other than maybe she's into multiple partners.

A bit extreme, but I get the general point and agree wholeheartedly. While on one hand she appears "noble" by sacrificing she has no qualms flouting basic ethics and human decency - being party to an immoral attempt to defraud another family, hiding major things from her family members and BF, insulting some people to please others, disregarding wows made in a temple, going back on her word, the list is endless.
Such people who would readily ditch ethics for expediency are actually quite ruthless and should be feared.
Everyone harps about family honour, what about personal honour? How can an honourable person go back on her word or allow herself to be party to deceit? What good is family honour when the individual members behave dishonourably - sooner or later society will see thru this.
In fact even keeping silent when you see something immoral going on is a dishonourable way to behave and RS is guilty of it (he should have spoken up against, not merely disagreed with, Manju's plan to foist an errant pregnant Neetu on unsuspecting Omi).
