Similar one was when Abhi comes to his 1st dinner at Sethi Nivas, she tries out a dress for her mehendi before Abhi comes and then her mom asks her to change and Abhi doesn't get to see Simi.
She looked nice both the times.
But I agree with ssree, based on the characterization Simi's current hair style is ok, but I expected her to dress up well after they both know that they love each other and once in a while change the hairstyle too.
As far as the opening the braid is concerned, Abhi can do that when he takes Simi out on date 😉
Take any MBA student, one can easily make them out by their clothes and looks and they look so well-groomed and here the creatives totally forgot that.
People do try to dress up nicely once they are in love and Abhi's was the worst hairstyle since then.....

u r still with the braid opening. i am out of it. I ont think it will be there. abhi lilesn simmi how she is and thats it for him. but i just want to see the expression in him when he really finds her well dressed and pretty.

i just want to see how smriti looks wiht her hair let loose, i feel she will look very young. as of now they have never shown the original smriti.

They just dont want the lead pair to look good even by mistake. Do they really plan for a makeover for the two in future? I really wish it happens. Remember that Jassi serial, the heroine gets transformed. i feel since both are young actors who naturally look good, they are having a tough task by attempting all possible ways to make them bad looking.

At least Neil we have seen his photos before this serial, but dying to see how Smriti actually looks
