simi is worse than women from medieval times

as far as i can understand from these dramas simi lives in delhi, is educated and supposedly a professor but she is boneless, does not understand the meaning of self-respect whereas radhika is adopted, filled with gratitude towards her adoptive family and is easily fooled because of her dependence and ignorance. what is wrong with writers of these shows. give your female lead characters some pride, intelligence as we are not living in medieval ages.

I hope after htis incident she learns a lesson and be's more stern and bold in life .

I think that ironically Simi felt that her real identity and self-esteem was surfacing as long as Abhi was by her side. She needs to realize that those things have to be in place before she can have a relationship or marriage. In her defense though, she has been put down most of her life by her own mother. Anita has even cruelly called her fat and ugly to her face and now she cannot escape this demon Anita as she sees and hears her taunts everywhere. Anuj and Neetu are now against her. Imagine with that kind of negativety constantly around her, how she sick must be feeling. Really Abhi and Milli and are the only ones who give Simi any positivity or care about her.
