(no more staring, real meaty dialogue, and if they cannot write it, I will write it)
I think you should because the writers will never get it perfect...
That was a really great prediction and wish that was the way the story went. however, with these writers, I don't think it will happen.(that's why we need you) 😊
I think this scene will be very touching and heart wrenching; it will show the love that RS has for Neetu. He sees her first and foremost as his daughter even after she makes this terrible mistake. The love RS for his daughters is unconditional.
That would be really sweet. His love really is unconditional, i wish all fathers were like him ( in the caring and loving way) and I wish it was as easy for me to relate to my father the way RS relates to his daughters.
The RS - Neetu scene is my personal favourite and if done well it can tear up the person. It simple; just shows how much a father loves his daughter and wants to be there to help her in her time of need. RS is the kind of father who does what he can for his children. Neetu, while foolish, is so full of guilt and shame that she cannot forgive herself for her actions and feels terrible for letting her father down.
I think a touching scene would be for her father to visit her in the hospital when she has the baby to let her know that he is there for her and for him to see his grandkid.
It is Manju who disowns her daughter and never wants to see her because of the shame it brings on the family. I think if she meets her, it will be when Neetu is at Simi's house (Tarneja's or her own place). Rather than feel happy to see Neetu, Manju will tear into Neetu and insult and demean her. Simi will intervene with a Neetu leaving in tears. When Simi suggests to Manju to see the child, Manju's anger will further ensue along with her arrogance towards Vicky and his profession as a driver.
It will only be untl Manju visits her daughters home (I have to figure out a reason here), that she sees hardship her daughter experiences, the drunken mother-in-law and her Neetu struggling to make ends meet. While she (Manju feels bad), she still cannot hold back but make some snide and below the belt comment. The strain in their relaitonship will always be visible and will take several meetings for Manju to forgive her daughter.
The writers can do so much with this storyline and I hope they use it well. I also hope they take in account the drinking problem of the mother-in-law and look into the concept of alcoholism, the problems that happen in relation to it and eventually see Vicky develop a similar problem. Alcoholism is an issue that is never discussed and is a problem in India. I think it would be a great area to explore.
