I have seen a lot of change in Anita from her character to the dress sense. I feel that after marriage she has started wearing only ghagra choli. While may navel display may help in adding glamor of the show (especially for the mens) but I should say that this is not the Punjabi tradition which is depicted here. Punjabi girls from Delhi don't wear ghagra choli all the time but only on special occasions. Though the girls has good physique to carry the dress I guess it not at all the tradition of Punjabi people

I think the creatives are just trying to add on to Anita's villainous character by making her dress this way. For some reason in most Indian soaps the villain always exposes more than the rest of the cast. However i haven't seen any villain dress like Anita yet. It's really not appealing.

I think they're going overboard with trying to show Anita as modern...i mean, i've never seen anyone wear that type of clothes before 😆

she was better off in her dresses :)
Her outfits were super cute before she got married!

I thought she was wearing saris with those super-small pallus. I remember in the episode after they got married Manju asked her to go up and put on a sari. Then she came down with that lame excuse for clothing.....

I think the reason for her showing off that much skin is to show that she is modern. I mean the Sethi's are supposed to traditional middle class people, so it's sort of like a contrast from the values the Sethi girls have and the values that Anita posesses.

there were exceptions to that rule of vamps showing skin and putting on way too much make up like sindoora from bmtd and Jiji from saath phere. Both dressed classy but still apart from the rest of the people. they don't have to show skin to be sexy and its definitely not classy
