Chapter 11

Roli searched for Trisha in the party, after leaving the meeting place of sid. A little while later, she found trisha and varun at one corner. 

Walking up to them, roli said "oh god! You're here". 

"Have you met the person Khurana sir was talking about?" Trisha asked, turning to roli. 

Roli felt agitated just by hearing about it. "yeah, I did. And I said no" she replied like it was no big deal. 

"You still stick to your stupid decision?" Trisha felt helpless at roli's adamacy. 

"I'm going home" roli said, switching the topic. 

"But, the party is not over yet.." Trisha said while roli cut in middle. 

"I'm leaving. You enjoy" roli glanced at varun as she spoke. 

"Then let me leave with you" trisha said and turned to varun as she continued "will catch up with you later". 

"Roli, you are crazy to reject the offer" varun, who was listening to them silently, spoke. 

Roli stared at him for calling her crazy but soon smirked as she said "btw, varun.. the scene you have done in your recent movie is too romantic". 

"God! Not again, roli. I'm just done settling that matter with her. Don't remind it again, please" varun literally joined his hands in front of roli. 

"We should leave now" trisha held roli's hand and prepared to leave the place as she would not want to talk about her boyfriend romancing other girl, though only on the screen. 

"She's jealous" roli tossed the words over her shoulders as trisha dragged her along.

Next day morning, roli got freshen up and reached the hall. 

"How was the party last night?" Sitting in the sofa, holding a tea cup, akash asked looking at roli. 

"I suppose you got to know it already from your friend" roli Answered, sarcastically. 

Akash shook his head before saying "well, we are leaving to Singapore tonight". 

"Really?" Roli sat up in sofa, excited. While akash nodded. 

"Since you are insisting so much, I thought to listen to you" akash responded. 

"Sometimes you really behave like a good brother" roli praised her bhaiya. 

"Sometimes?" Akash raised his eyebrows and stared at her. Roli giggled while nodding her head. 

"You better behave yourself while we are away" akash warned, knowing about her temperament well. 

"as if I'm really interested in messing up with people" roli rolled her eyes. 

"I have arranged a person to take care of you. And..." akash informed. 

"I don't need one. I can take care of myself" roli immediately interrupted as she got up and went to kitchen. 

Soon the evening hit. Akash and shreya had to catch the flight at night. 

"I'm coming with you guys to drop you at airport and to make sure you won't come back from the entrance itself" roli said like a strict teacher. 

"You can very well come with us" akash replied. 

"Oh.. you agreed. I thought you wouldn't" roli felt suspicious. While returning home, roli would be alone. Still akash agreed to let her come which was not like him. 

"I said I have arranged everything for you. So, you should come" akash said mysteriously. 

"We should leave now" without giving roli any chance to think, akash hurried her to leave. 

Nearly after thirty minutes of drive, cab had come to hault. Roli got confused when the car stopped as they hadn't reached the airport yet. 

"Bhaiya, why you told to stop here?" Roli queried in confusion. 

"Have a little work here. Follow me, you will know" akash tilted his backwards to answer roli and got down from the car. 

Furrowing, roli too got down and found a beautiful mansion before her. 

"Come" akash called. Roli looked at him in confusion and then at shreya, who signalled her to follow akash. 

With the same confused face and several questions in mind, roli quietly followed akash and shreya. 

A few servants reached them to greet as they entered the house. It was super luxurious from inside. 

"Whose house is this?" Roli queried while watching at the luxurious surroundings. 

Before akash could reply, a person walked out from one of the rooms. He elegantly walked down the stairs and reached them. 

Roli fumed looking at sid, who just reached her and stood before her. 

"Why we are here now?" Turning to akash, roli asked angrily. 

Without answering her question, akash looked at sid and asked "are you sure you want to handle this nuclear bomb?". 

Sid looked at roli with a soft smile as he calmly replied "I will". 

"So, he is the one you have arranged to take care of me?" Roli finally understood and stared at her brother. 

"Listen roli, I can't just leave you alone here and go. I need someone to assure myself that you are fine here" akash tried to reason with her. 

"If you don't want to stay here, then fine we will just cancel our trip and go home back" watching no response from roli, akash tried emotional attack. 

Roli didn't speak and stood, staring at them. She was so angry on sid that she would not want to stay with him. But, at the same time, she did not want to stop her brother. She was in a dilemma. 

After thinking all the pros and cons, roli finally spoke "tell him not to mess with me when I'm here". 

Akash and shreya smiled as roli agreed to stay with sid. While a servant walked in with a luggage and placed it near akash. 

"I've brought all your belongings. If you need anything else, sid will take care of it" akash said, making her even more angry. 

"You guys even packed my luggage" roli looked like an angry kid. 

"Your bhaiya ordered so I did" shreya slowly replied while roli glared at akash. 

"Ok then, sid.. take care" akash turned to sid and said. Sid just nodded as assurance. 

Moving near roli, akash hugged her and said "take care". 

"You too" roli hugged him back and replied, though she was still angry. 

Then akash and shreya left Sid's house bidding bye to them. 

Roli turned around and glared at sid as she asked "is this your idea?". 

"What do you think?" Sid smiled at her question and asked back. 

"Whatever. I agreed to stay here only because of my bhaiya. If you try to take it as a chance, I will break your bones" roli warned with a straight face. 

"So, you want to practice your karate skills on the one who taught you" sid chuckled at her warning. 

Roli fell silent as his words had taken her to the days back when they were together, happily without any worries. 

"I got some office work to deal with. You go to room and have rest. If you need anything, call me. I will be in the study room" sid spoke as he ordered the servant to shift her luggage to the room, he had arranged for her. 

While glaring at sid, roli followed the servant to her room. The room was beautiful with all the luxuries and a cozy bed in the middle. 

"I will definitely deal with these people for fooling me like this" roli mumbled to herself, though even she herself knew she couldn't do anything. 

At the time, her phone started ringing. Roli furrowed finding an unknown number on the screen. 

"Hello" roli answered. 

"Hello, my dear, Roli dwivedi" a manly voice responded from the other side. 

"Vikram" roli immediately recognized the person. He was the only person who would call her, adding dwivedi to her name, which she hated to the core. 

"Good, you recognized me. So, I don't need to introduce myself" vikram replied. 

"Why are you calling me now?" Roli felt even more furious while talking to this guy, vikram. 

"To remind you of what you should do" vikram sounded vicious.

"I have told you so many times and I'm repeating the same, I would never do what you have asked for. Even if you die" roli answered, enunciating each word. 

"Since you have mentioned the word 'die' already, I heard your long lost friend cum lover returned. What's his name... Oh, yes.. Siddhant, right?" Vikram's words made roli froze. 

"I will kill you if you dare to lay your hand on sid" forgetting all her anger on sid, roli defended for him. No matter what, he's still her sid and she could never let anyone harm him. 

"Wow! What a caring. I'm impressed" vikram smiled, wickedly. 

"Well, I just wanted to remind you that I'm not going to leave you until I get what I want. And I will take it from whatever means possible" vikram said and hung up the call, before roli could reply. 

"I will have to deal with this scumbag first of all" roli stared at her phone screen and gritted her teeth.
