Chapter 45

"Sameer!" roli smiled brightly at the guy standing before her.

"Roli" the guy smiled as he continued in surprise "you here in goa!".

"Leave that and first tell me when did you return to India?" Roli asked. Her eyes were shining with excitement.

"Just two days back" sameer slowly replied.

"Two days? And you didn't even tell me" roli crossed her arms and stared at him, pretending to be angry.

"I had to come for business work and was little busy so, didn't get time to inform you, sorry" sameer said, apologetically.

"Why can't you just tell that you forgot your friend" roli pouted, looking a little disappointed.

"Me forgetting you is impossible and you know that. But, it might be possible for you to forget me" sameer said, tauntingly.

"Say that again.." roli glared at him angrily. Sameer was one of the very few important people in roli's life. There was no way she could forget him.

"Siddhant?" When sameer looked away from roli to avoid her glare, his eyes finally caught on sid, who was standing behind roli.

Roli turned her head and found sid staring at them with a blank expression.

Sid glanced at the guy with whom roli was talking with so much liberty. He watched sameer from head to toe as if he was scanning him.

Sameer was wearing a navy blue blazer and dressed up formally. With his six feet height and well built body, he looked super handsome.

Roli turned back to sameer with a smile and nodded as "yes".

"So, finally I got to meet you in person" sameer said, looking at sid.

Sid took a forward step and stood next to roli. He was surprised to see sameer, whom he felt as stranger, had known him already.

"I'm sameer, roli's friend" sameer extended his hand towards sid with a smile.

Sid too forwarded his hand for a handshake as he spoke "you seem to know my name already".

"Of course, I know. I've heard a lot about you" sameer said, leaving Sid's hand.

"And not just that, we both too might have been friends if you've had attended any family gatherings" sameer said.

"I'm not interested in such boring gatherings" sid calmly responded. While roli rolled her eyes at his attitude.

Sameer laughed at Sid's comment as he supported him "I agree with you on that. They're indeed boring. But, I had to attend on this girl's insisting". 

Roli stared at sameer as he pointed at her.

"Btw, who comes to beach wearing blazer" roli chuckled as she pointed at sameer's dress.

"Damn.. I forgot. I was on the way to meet a client when I happened to see you here. I wondered if it's really you or not, so just came to clarify myself" sameer replied.

"You're leaving now?" Roli seemed to be a little sad as she asked.

"Yeah, I've a meeting" sameer said in a low voice as he watched her sad face.

"Till when you'll be staying here?" Roli asked.

"I've to meet various clients for different projects. I might stay in goa for one week or so. And then back to US" sameer answered.

"We too are staying in goa for one week. We'll get lots of time to talk" roli felt excited.

Sameer smiled, seeing her excitement. "fine, I got to leave now. Bye".

"Will meet again soon. Bye for now" roli waved her hand. While sameer waved back at left. 

After sameer left the placed, roli turned to sid to find him staring at her. She raised her eyebrows like 'what'.

"You never told me about your friend" sid said calmly.

"Because he's not just any friend. He's family" roli said with a smile.

"Whatever. Why you didn't tell me about him?" Sid continued as he crossed his arms.

"What's there to tell about? May be I just didn't get the chance to tell about him" roli simply replied as it wasn't something to worry about.

But, for sid, it was really something to worry about. After watching how freely roli behaved with sameer, he could understand that they both were so close to each other.

As far as he knew roli, she wouldn't be comfortable to talk to anyone with such liberty unless or until they're really special to her. To the best of his knowledge, she used to talk in such manner only with him, her father and his family. Not even with his friends.

So, when he found her comfortable to talk with sameer, he felt a weird kind of feeling crept over his heart. And he felt something like that for the first time in his life.

Little did he realize was, he actually started feeling jealous inside and he couldn't figure it out, yet.

"Oh.. wait" roli suddenly spoke as if she remembered something important.

Sid looked at her as he waited for her to continue.

"Why I'm talking to you. I'm angry on you, right. I'm not gonna talk to you" roli just recalled that she was supposed to be mad at him, which she almost forgot.

Saying so, roli turned around to leave. But, before she could even take a step ahead, sid circled his arm around her neck and pulled her towards him.

"Leave me" roli tried to come out from his hold.

Giving a deaf ear to her, sid started walking out of the beach with his arm still around her.

Sid's friends were still enjoying in the beach. While sid and roli returned to resort after informing them.

"You want to lock me in the room now?" Roli was clearly pissed off with the way sid had brought her back to the room.

"If you don't want to come with me, then I might lock you in room" sid replied, casually.

"Are we going somewhere?" Roli calmed down her anger and asked slowly.

"we'll go wherever you want" Sid's words surely surprised roli. 

Sid just agreed to go with her wherever she would want to, even before she had asked. Roli couldn't believe it as she stared at him for a few seconds before responding. 

"Really?" Roli asked for confirmation. 

"If you don't want to believe than it's fine. You'll just stay in room" Sid promptly started playing around with words. 

"No.. no. I believe you. Just five minutes. I'll get ready soon" roli immediately reacted and rushed to get ready. 

As they went to beach, they both were wearing only shorts and t-shirts. So, they changed their clothes and got ready in less than ten minutes. 

"Tell me where you want to go" Sid asked as they stepped out of the resort. 

"Is there any amusement park here?" Roli asked, curiously. 

"I knew you'd ask such childish things only" Sid rolled his eyes. 

"Isn't it fun to go to amusement park?" Roli asked like a child. 

"Yeah, it is. But, only for kids like you" Sid said, staring at her blankly. 

"You said we'll go wherever I wish" roli pouted. 

"Stop pouting all the time" Sid looked away from her as he urged his emotions to control. 

"Why?" Roli pouted purposely now. 

Sid exhaled and didn't look at her. How could he tell her that he wants to kiss her when she pouts. It was already hard enough for him to control his emotions whenever she was around him. Not to mention when she acts cute with him. It'd be a worse situation for him to handle. 

Not that he didn't want to shower his love on her. But, considering her comfort he would want to take it slow. She was innocent and he didn't want to scare her with all his wild desires. 

"Leave it" Sid started walking forward. 

Roli reached him quickly and held his hand as they walked away. She was clueless as to where to go. And for Sid, he just wanted roli to be with him, no matter where they go. 

At the end, they didn't go to any particular place. Rather just kept strolling in the streets nearby, hand in hand. 

They wandered around till afternoon and had lunch in the restaurant. 

While walking back to the resort, roli's attention caught on to a sugar candy stall. 

"I'll go buy that" roli said to Sid, who was busy in his phone. 

Sid raised his head to look at the stall. It was in the opposite side of the road and so many vehicles were crossing through both the lanes of road. 

"You stay here. I'll get it" Sid slided his phone back in to his pocket and went to buy the candy. 

Roli was watching the surroundings as she waited for sid.

Sid, who just bought the candy and turned around to leave, got tensed to see a bike racing towards roli, who wasn't paying attention to the bike which was at her back.

"Roli.. move" sid shouted at the top of his voice as he rushed over to her.
