The next morning, Karan wakes up early and goes for a jog. As he returns, he notices Ramesh instructing the servants.

Ramesh: From today onwards, don't treat Karan like the son-in-law of this house. He is just a guest.

Karan overhears everything but remains silent.

Amba notices him.

Amba: Don't mind his words, Son. One day he will realize your worth.

Karan smiles respectfully.

Karan: Elders have the right to be angry. I hope he understands me one day.

Meanwhile, Preeta enters the kitchen to help Ramaa.

Ramaa smiles.

Ramaa: Since you came home, this house has become lively again.

Just then, Ramesh walks in.

Ramesh: She has returned only to disgrace us once again.

The atmosphere turns silent.

Karan enters.

Karan: Uncle, may I say something?

Ramesh: I don't need your advice.

Karan: You are upset with me, not with her. Please don't punish Preeta for my presence.

Ramesh walks away without replying.

Preeta looks at Karan gratefully.

Later, the family gathers in the living room.

Karan: Seems like destiny wants me to stay here for a little longer.

They both smile.
