The engagement ceremony ends.

As everyone prepares to leave, the mysterious man who had been watching Preeta quietly follows the family car on his motorcycle.

Karan notices the bike in the rear-view mirror.

Karan: Driver, don't stop the car.

The biker follows them for several kilometers, then suddenly disappears onto another road.

Preeta: Were they following us?

Karan: I am not sure... but stay careful for the next few days.

Preeta nods.

The next morning, Amba calls everyone into the living room.

Amba: Tomorrow is the annual family pooja. Every family member has to participate.

Everyone agrees.

Only Ramesh remains silent.

Meanwhile, Sonakshi and Ronit go shopping for their wedding.

Ronit picks up a red bridal saree.

Ronit: This one is perfect for you.

Sonakshi: You still remember my favorite color.

Ronit: I forgot many things in life... but never you.

Sonakshi smiles.

Back at Preeta's house, Karan helps Raghuveer repair an old swing in the garden.

Raghuveer watches him carefully.

Raghuveer: You never behave like a guest.

Karan: My father taught me that if you stay in someone's house, treat it as your own.

Raghuveer smiles with approval.

Unknown to them, Ramesh witnesses everything from the balcony.

Later, Preeta goes to the nearby temple to pray.

On her way back, two men suddenly block her path.

Goon: We finally found you.

Before they can grab her, Karan, who had come looking for her, reaches there.

A fierce fight breaks out.

Using his military training, Karan overpowers both men.

One of them escapes, while the other falls unconscious.

Before the unconscious man can be questioned, a black SUV speeds past and pulls him inside.

The vehicle disappears.

Preeta: They... they are the same people who chased me near my hostel.

Karan: Then someone is determined to stop you from speaking.

Back home, Karan informs the family.

Everyone is shocked.

Only Ramesh remains unconvinced.

Ramesh: Maybe all this is another drama.

Amba becomes angry.

Amba: How can you say that after your daughter was attacked?

Ramesh leaves without answering.

That night, Karan sits outside the house.

Preeta brings him a cup of tea.

Preeta: You risked your life for me once again.

Karan: Protecting people is my duty.

Preeta: Duty made you save me the first time... what made you save me today?

Karan pauses for a moment.

Karan: Friendship.

Preeta smiles.

For the first time since returning home, she feels safe.

Preeta dreams of spending romantic time with Karan.
