Chapter 9

As the sun rays peeped in from the window , Khushi wake up from her beautiful sleep. After some 3 or 4 days she had a peaceful sleep. She straightened her hands sheepishly and smiled remembering her and Arnav's last night's conversation.

She slowly opened her beautiful hazel eyes with a wide smile adorning her lips. As soon as Khushi opened her eyes, she saw the most unexpected person standing infront of her with his hands folded against his chest and his trademark smirk, leaning against her bedroom's wall.

Khushi's eyes popped out in shock and immediately her palms covered her gold fish like wide opened mouth.

She immediately run towards him and whispered, "Are you mad Arnav? What are you doing here in my room that too at this time?

Suddenly she noticed the door was locked from inside and she remembered that she always locks her room before going to sleep.

Coming out of her thoughts Khushi shouted in a low voice, " My door was locked then how the hell you get into this room? What the!!! You entered from the window? What is wrong with you? Tumhe Kuch ho jaata toh'Whats the need of doing all this?"

Arnav kept on smiling without answering any of Khushi's questions.

"Why are smiling? Answer me Damn-it!!!!" , Khushi said while staring at his smirking face.

Arnav in answer just indicated her to look into the mirror kept opposite to her bed through his finger.

Khushi confusingly looked into the mirror and found herself alone standing there. She looked around and thus understood there was no Arnav inside the room. She was just imagining Arnav in her room.

She hits her head slowly with hands and said, " You are going to be mad soon gal. Now I have started imagining Arnav everywhere. Hey Devi Maiyaan! Help your Khushi."

Saying so she went to freshen up with a shy smile. After 1 hour she went downstairs to have her breakfast and to her surprise she was again hearing Arnav's laughter. She angrily closed her ears and made her way to the breakfast table.

Without looking anywhere she takes her seat and started eating. Seeing Khushi's strange behaviour her dad asked whether she was feeling well or not.

As she lifted her head to answer her dad's question, her eyes popped out again and her jaw droppen and touched the floor. There she saw Arnav sitting opposite to her with the same smirk on his lips.

Khushi immediately closed her eyes with her hands and said in a low voice, "shooo shooo go away go away from here'. Just go away!"

Her dad slowly placed his hand on her head and asked, " Beta are you okh? Whom you are asking to leave?"

She was about to answer when a voice interrupted her.

" Yes Khushi, only Aunty, Uncle and me are here. Then whom are asking to leave? TUM THEEK HO!!!", Arnav said biting his own lips to avoid laughed out loud seeing Khushi's state.

Khushi then realized that this time Arnav was sitting infront of her for real. She chocked her food and within microseconds Arnav was beside her patting her back and offered a glass of water.

Seeing their children in so love with each other, Khushi's mom dad left them alone and retired to their room.

"Paagal ho tum (Are you mad)? Cant you eat slowly and carefully Damn-it!" , Arnav scolded Khushi as he takes a seat next to her.

" I am fine Arnav. But why you came so early without informing", Khushi asked in a No- Non- Sense tone.

Arnav immediately caught the seriousness in her tone and replied in a polite tone, " Actually Khushi, dad asked to hand over a confidential file to Uncle,that's why I came here. And between its my home also, how dare you question me about coming to my home".

Khushi immediately felt guilty for asking him such a question. She held her ears and said sorry making a cute puppy face.

Arnav immediately melted seeing the cuteness of her little princess. He controlled his erupted thoughts and held her palms in his rough ones.

" Khushi today we have planned a dinner at Purple Orchid. Be ready at 7 in the evening, I will come to pick you up", Arnav said as caressing her palm.

"Wow Arnav! I am dying to meet all of them. Goshhh!!! I missed you guys loads", Khushi said as she hugged Arnav excitedly.

Now its becoming hard for Arnav to control himself infront of her lady love. So he thought leaving now will be the best option.

" Okh then see you at 7pm", Arnav said as he gets up from his seat and turned to leave after placing a soft kiss on her forehead.

Khushi smiled at his sweet gesture and said, " Bye, Take care Arnav!"

Arnav smiled and walked upto the door but stopped suddenly making Khushi collided with his back.

" Khushi, please wear that in the evening", Arnav said while pointing towards a wrapped gift kept on the couch and left without hearing Khushi's reply.

Khushi smiled and picked up the gift and left for her room. For some 1 hour she was thinking what to do with the gift. What if he has gifted a saree? Her thoughts went to their saree encounter and Khushi blushed a little remembering those night's memories.

It was around 6 in the evening. Khushi came out of the bathroom after taking a shower. She slowly lifted the gift in her hands and unwrapped it. To her surprise inside there was a beautiful RED anarkali suit.

She slowly touched the whole material but she wasn't shocked at his choice. She knew Arnav's choice was simple yet elegant.

She got ready and wear minimal makeup. Diamond earrings were adorning her ears. She was looking like an angel.

Arnav parked his car and came out of the car. He was about to enter the mansion when he saw her angel walking towards him, looking so beautiful. He kept on staring as she walks upto him wearing his ever first designed suit.

Her angelic face , her smile, her eyes were somehow giving peace to his heart. He so wanted to take his princess in his arms but some how controlled himself.

" You are looking beautiful Khushi. Thanks for accepting the gift,"Arnav said admiring Khushi from head to toe.

"This is really beautiful. Now lets go our friends must be waiting for us," Khushi said while opening the passenger door of Arnav's SUV.

As Arnav was about to turn, Khushi said in a teasing tone, " Arnav! Thanks for gifting me your first creation".

Arnav smiled and nodded his head as he thought no one else other than Khushi can understand him so well. No words were required between them to express or hide their feelings.

The journey upto Purple Orchid was as usual full of silence. But there was a little difference this time. Arnav's focus was completely on the road but Khushi was stealing glances of Arnav.

As Arnav parked the car, they saw Aakash, Payal, NK and La were approaching them. They hugged each other and left to their booked table for only 6 of them.

As they were entering together NK got a call and slowed down his speed. All of them took their respective seats. Aakash beside Payal, Arnav beside Aakash, Khushi between Arnav and La.

As La was about to take her seat, she was a young gal approaching NK. NK ended his call and started to talk with the gal. Some how NK laughing and talking with a young gal irked La. She was getting jealous after she saw NK with that damn gal.

Her jealous expressions weren't missed by Arnav and Khushi. Both looked at each other and winked, mentally hi-fived for their "Mission NK-LA".
