Chapter 8

The party ended on a happy note. Arnav and Khushi both were still confused with their feelings but on the other side Aakash and Payal were sure of the feeling they felt for each other. The sensual dance of Arnav and Khushi and their confused expressions were not missed by two persons , La and NK. They were shocked and happy for the new lovebirds but extremely angry on them as they were still confused. Their eyes were speaking volumes but both Arnav and Khushi ignoring it.

The next few days went by quickly.THey were having their final exams in just two weeks followed by the FEST.

All were preparing for the exams. Aakash and Payal both were spending more time with each other. On the other side the scene was completely different. Arnav and Khushi both were ignoring each other since the party evening.

La and NK both started to bang their heads on the wall seeing their stupid behavior towards each other. So they thought of playing cupid to bring these confused love birds together. La came up with a plan and whispered that to NK, both hi-fived and screamed, " Mission Arshi starts from now!"

All were sitting and studying on the hall area of the girls apartment. Aakash and Payal were sitting together and studying but Arnav Khushi, both till now were ignoring each other. La winked at NK and started her plan.

" Guys I am thinking as this is our last semester and after our exam we all are going to pursue higher studies or may be opt for jobs, so we wont get any time for our family any time soon", La said making a serious face.

NK stretched the topic further and said, " Oh yeah La you are right for the first time. We have two weeks to prepare but we will manage the preparation in a week. So lets visit our respective home for a week, our family will also be happy".

The rest four were very well trapped in NK and La's plan. They all gave a thought and said , " Yeah that's a cool idea. We all agree with that."

" Lets leave today evening. What say guys?", Arnav said as glancing towards Khushi.

" Yeah that will be perfect. Lets pack our stuffs", Khushi said all the while ignoring Arnav's piercing glances.

All left for their respective room leaving NK and La behind.

"Plan successful!", NK exclaimed looking towards the retreating figures of Arnav and Khushi. " Yes these dumbos will realize their love only afer staying away from each other", La said giving an assuring smile to NK.

All were ready to leave. But this time all were going in Arnav's car. One by one he dropped all La, Aakash, NK and Payal. Now it was only he and Khushi inside the car. There was an awkward silence between them during the whole journey.

Arnav stopped the car infront of Khushi's mansion. She quickly stepped out of the car and started to leave saying a quick thanks to Arnav. Mean while Arnav also stepped out if his car and called her name "Khushi!"in his husky voice.

One call from Arnav was enough for Khushi to stop on her track. She turned facing towards Arnav and nodded her head asking him to continue through her eyes.

Arnav walks upto Khushi held her soft hand in his rough ones and said, " Have a nice time with the family Khushi. I will miss you and do take care of yourself. If you need me anytime, I am just a phone call away".

Saying this Arnav kisses her forehead and left saying a cute Bye to her.

Arnav's sudden gesture brought a wide smile to Khushi's lips. She waved her hands and enters her home still thinking about Arnav.

The days flied very quickly as all of them were pampered by their parents to the fullest. Aakash and Payal started to date each other. NK and La were happy for their friends. They used to talk till late night about how to bring Arnav and Khushi together. NK was literally surprised after knowing La's thoughts about love. He didn't expected this tom boy kinda La will be this much romantic from her heart.

After reaching home Arnav was depressed. The feeling of staying away from Khushi piercing his heart into million pieces. Every now and then he started missing Khushi. Her laughter, her crazy talks, her antics infact in simple words he started missing Khushi like anything. He started feeling restless and it almost grew every passing second. He picks up his mobile from his bed and dialed a number and said , " Wanna talk about something urgent. Coming to your place within 15 minutes". Saying so he picked up his wallet and car keys and left to meet someone.

Arnav knocked the door. He dint even bothered to wait for the reply from inside and barged inside saying , " I need your help Sky! I am dying now please help me damn-it!"

Aakash smiled at Arnav and asked him to sit first. He offered Arnav a glass of water and takes a seat beside him. " Now say what is the matter with you? Whats the thing bothering u?", Aakash asked as he takes the empty glass of water from Arnav's hand.

" I dunno what the hell is happening to me. I dunno why I am feeling this much restless. I don't have any idea why I want to be with her all the time. I don't know why I am feeling that she belongs to me only. I cant tolerate her sadness, her ignorance. I dunno why I…", Arnav stopped in the middle seeing Aaksah's smirking face.

"What?", Arnav asked confusingly. "Oh my god! Someone is feeling this much. I cant believe my ears", Aakash said in a teasing tone.

"Oh! Come on Sky here I am dying every single passing second and you are making fun of me", Arnav said angrily.

" Okh no more teasing session. Lets be serious and solve your confusions", Aakash said biting his own lips to avoid laughing out loud seeing Arnav's confused expressions.

"Aakash! Why I am feeling this kinda for her? I asked this question many times to my heart but dint get any answer", Arnav said while looking towards Aakash with a sad confused face.

" Because bro you are in LOVE with Khushi. Yes you heard it right, you love Khushi", Aakash said giving a wide smile to Arnav.

Arnav's jaw dropped and touched the floor. He never took Khushi's name infront of Aakash, then how did Aakash knows that he was talking about Khushi.

" I am in LOVE? Is this love? And how come you know that I am talking about Khushi? I dint mention her name", Arnav asked with more shocking expressions.

" Arnav, u remember the pre Fest party? The way you both danced, the way you both were looking into each others eyes, said all your unsaid words. We can see immense love in yours and Khushis's eyes. But the thing is that you have realized your love for Khushi but Khushi is still confused. After the party we saw her ignoring you all these days and fighting with her confused feelings", Aakash said as he keeps his hand on Arnav's shoulder.

Aakash continued, " Arnav, Khushi is still confused but she also loves you. We can see her love for you in her eyes. You have to clear her doubts and you better know how to do it and I am very happy for both of you".

"Yeah Aakash I know how to do it. I still cant believe that I am in love and that too with my best friend Khushi. I will make her realize soon", Arnav said as he hugs Aakash, his best buddy who knows him more than anyone and left for his home with a cute smile adoring his lips.

On the other side Khushi's state was more and less similar. She wanted to see Arnav, to fight with him, to tease him with her crazy antics. Feeling irritated with her thoughts she decided to sleep which was far away from her.

As soon as she lied down her phone started to ring. Seeing Arnav's name flashing she quickly picked it up and said in an enthusiastic tone, " Hello! Arnav?"

Arnav smirked seeing her reaction and said, " Yes sweetheart its me Arnav! Weren't you missing me? I wanna hear my princess's voice, so thought of giving you a call."

Khushi's eyes popped out like a saucer seeing Arnav again back to his flirty mood.

"Woh..ermmm…I…", Khushi fumbled as she dunno what to reply.

" Yes Khushi I am listening please enlighten your words wohhh..errmmm…I…", Arnav said mocking Khushi.

" Gosh! You are impossible Arnav..Yes I am missing you loads", Khushi said while she hugged her teddy kept on her bed which was gifted by Arnav on her 16^th birthday.

"Wow! Now princess don't stress yourself. Go to sleep its quite late now. Talk to you tomorrow", Arnav said as he felt Khushi relaxing a bit. He thought to carry the things slowly with her.

" Sleep well Arnav goodnight, bye!", Khushi said as she kisses the teddy.

"Goodnight princess, bye!", Arnav said and kept the phone thanking God for sending such an angel Khushi into his life.
