Part 3:

But still he seemed to like that taunt of hers...and also that gesture of sending it to him with the correction so soon as if throwing right back on his face!

"Filaal so jaao Miss Sakshi Anand...tumse main kal deal karunga..."

Saying that to himself looking at the email, he logged off without even checking the attachment...

My note: all were asking about what the attachment was...it's the article which Sakshi had written and given him...spelling mistake correct karke diya hai Arjun ko...SYS?

Next morning...Aisha was brimming to tell Arjun about Sakshi's b'day and also request him to wish her...but he never gave her a chance as he was very busy with some case file...and when she finally managed to tell him, he ignored it totally and delegated some work to her...

Aisha muttered under her breath, "sorry Sakshi...innka kuch nahi ho saktha"

Little did Aisha know that he had already wished her and that too the first wish...

As Aisha walked out of his room, she got a call from an unknown number informing her about Sakshi's life in danger..

She rushed back to Arjun who was annoyed by her sudden entry but then at the mention of Sakshi in danger, he got up shocked,"WHAT?"

He didn't wait for Aisha to complete the details but he sprinted out of the office and soon they were all zooming to the spot where Sakshi was tied up and made to sit on the middle of the road as a human bomb...

Sakshi screamed as they neared her, "Arjun nahi...mere paas matth aana...sab dur ho jaao...yeh kabhi bhi blast ho saktha hai...Go away Arjun..."

Arjun ignored her pleas and tried to untie her legs consoling her, "Sakshi, don't panic...kuch nahi hoga."...

By then Aisha and Liza tried to untie her hands and also unfasten the belt that held the bomb to her stomach...Aisha also started telling the details of the bomb and about its intensity!

It was deadlier than what they had all assumed...

Sakshi helplessly tried to beg them all to leave...her muttering was obviously falling into deaf ears as none of them were going to abandon her to die like that...

The moment they touched the belt, a loud blast shook them and it happened just behind them...a car blasted all of sudden...it was something that was done to scare them all...

Arjun instantly realized that the bomber could see and hear them too...He asked the team to stop untying Sakshi...He got up and looked all around...

A phone rang from Sakshi's bag...Arjun took the call and the phone call was from the bomber who demanded the release of 3 of his people from his group...else he threatened to blast the bomb tied onto Sakshi!

Arjun had no other choice but agree to get them released because he couldn't let Sakshi die...

He cut the call and looked towards Sakshi's side...One look at her agonized state and her worried face, he swore to himself, he would save her...no matter what, he would save her...yes, he would have done the same for any other team member...He wouldn't leave any of his team mate to die!

But his stone like heart wouldn't have perhaps melted for anyone else...his face wouldn't have shown such lines of worries and desperation for anyone else...

He walked to her with their eyes meeting each other...His eyes were trying to compose and console her while she on the other hand, though horrified and tensed was begging him to go away from there...He couldn't leave her like that while she couldn't see him or any of her friends shatter to death along with her...

Her selfless pleas were touching him deep but he didn't show any such emotions as he sat on his knees beside for a second patting her shoulders gently..."Sakshi, I will be back...tumhe kuch nahi hoga...trust me"

The next instant he was up and as he walked, he instructed Liza to stay with Sakshi while Aisha and CHotu followed him...

A kind of urgency, helplessness and desperation clouded his mind and for the first time all of it reflected on his face...

His walk became quicker and quicker and soon he was almost flying to the SUV...one thing that they couldn't afford to waste today was TIME! Every nano second mattered!

His next stop was the minister's office...His request wasn't taken by the minister and the higher police officials...

Freeing deadly terrorists was out of question according to them...Arjun was asked to find out some other way to save his team member...

Arjun came out from the minister's cabin determined to save Sakshi by hook or crook!

He devised a plan and by late afternoon, it was all in track...all went well...the plan succeeded and the bomb was diffused...The freed terrorists were captured back right on time by the police team which was waiting for Arjun's orders...

The master mind of the entire operation was also nailed...So after a tension filled exhaustive day, all ended well in a positive way!

As he walked to the SUV, he stopped beside Sakshi...looking at her pale face, he wished her once again, "saalgirah Mubarak ho Sakshi!"

She couldn't have asked for more from her hot headed akdu senior...actually 2 wishes from him was indeed a pleasant surprise...no it was indeed a shocker!

She just smiled while he put on his glares and walked away...

Both of them seemed to have forgotten the previous night's phone conversation due to the day's ordeal...but his wish brought the memory back...she grinned thinking about it while he just glared and went away...

All were back at office and the rest of the afternoon was spent in pampering Sakshi...the team was trying its best to comfort and ease her tension...

Sakshi couldn't take it anymore..."Stop it guys...maine kitni baar kaha...I am fine...I AM PERFECTLY FINE!"

She raised her voice and made them all listen to her...

All laughed at her and somehow they managed to get over that and soon they were planning the evening party...Sakshi insisted that they would just hang out and have a casual get together at her place as she didn't have the mood to go out anywhere today...As it was the b'day girl's wish, all just agreed to that...

Everyone except Arjun was there...and they were busily chatting away about what all they could do in the evening...including the place from where the food is to be ordered!

Sakshi was physically present and was smiling too at the team's excitement and funny antics and comments but her mind was wandering back to Arjun, his first b'day wish and also his words of consolation...his eyes which were speaking to her in volumes in those few seconds of tension and fear...Werent those unspoken words which gave her immense strength to pull on with the trauma?

Still lost in those thoughts and occasionally participating in the team masti, suddenly Sakshi felt as if she was being watched...She looked to the direction...it was the glass partition which separated the individual cabins and the conference room...did she see him just walking away??? Well may be yes...or perhaps or no...not possible...it could be just her imagination! Of course, why would he stand there and gaze at her? Silly me...she smacked herself but then another thought crossed her mind...

She had invited or rather the entire team had self invited themselves for her b'day party but for him...may be he would scold her or just ignore her invite but then she had the courtesy to atleast invite him..."namesake hi sahi, invite toh karna padega"...she thought to herself as she excused herself from the rest and walked to his cabin!

She knew that he wasn't going to come anyways...He disliked parties and coming to her house for her b'day party was just out of question...

She knocked and entered...As usual, he just gave a disinterested glance at her and then looked back into the file...

She voiced feebly, "Arjun..."

He looked up and spoke up in a considerate tone, "haan bolo...tum teek ho na?"

Sakshi: haan...i am fine...thanks Arjun"

Arjun: [acting indifferent to her thanks] its ok...main apni duty kar raha tha...koyi aur hota toh bhi main yeh sab kartha...

His justification for saving her which she never even asked for gave her a faint grin...she wasn't going to leave him like that...She replied to tease him a bit, "yes of course...it was your duty to save me...I didn't thank you for that Arjun"

Arjun raised his eyebrows enquiringly, "phir?"

Saksh: tumne mere b'day pe first wish kiya...phir abi thodi dher pehle personally bhi wish kiya...aur haan, mere article ko cent percent perfect banaane keliye correction kaha aur woh bhi raat ko jagaake...unn sab keliye thank you"

Her taunt was well evident in her words and body language...so he looked back into the file ignoring her...

She knew that this would be his reaction when he was short of words to reply to her...she called him again, "Arjun...mujhe kuch aur bhi kehna tha"

Arjun stared at her as if asking her to finish her bak bak soon and get out from there...she understood that and spoke up, "aaj mere b'day hai na? toh Aisha, Liza, Shree aur Chotu mere ghar pe dinner keliye aa rahe hai...ek chota sa get together...agar tum bhi..."

Her words ceased when his glance turned into a glare...she quickly added, "nahi agar tum nahi aana chahte toh its fine...mujhe patha hai ke tumhe aise parties pasand nahi...mujhe bhi zyaadha interest nahi hai but I don't want to spoil their fun and excitement...isiliye..."

When she saw him not responding to any of her words, she added with a faint smile, "main chalthi hoom...bye"

She just reached the door when his voice made her stop in her tracks..."I will come"

She couldn't believe what she heard from him...she looked back once but he wasn't even looking at her...she tried to confirm if he really said that, "really??? I mean did you really say that you will come!"

He merely replied with a, "hmmm...[he added to dismiss her from there] ab mujhe thoda kaam karna hai "

She got his message that she had to leave...though his akdu reply irritated her, she was very happy because he accepted her invite and he was really coming to her party!...

She rushed out smiling...
