Chapter 3 - Bol Na Pau Kuch Bhi Piya..

Khushi got a call from Arnav asking her to wear the same Choli she wore on their Wedding Day.. She said okay and he kept the call when she was about to ask him if he had his lunch.. Just then she remembered that unlike everyday, she forgot to pass him tiffen today!

She ran to the kitchen and packed some 'Aalu-puri' and Kheer and called Mohan to deliver her husband's lunch, but then thought to go herself..

At AR Office..

Khushi got to learn that her husband was attending a conference call in the Board Room, and decided to wait in his Cabin for time-being.. Waiting for more than 15 minutes, Khushi dosed off, sitting on his Master Chair..

Some 5 minutes passed and Arnav came in.. He was not aware of his wife's presence in his office, but the air around carried her fragrance and he knew she was here.. Seeing the tiffen on the table, and his wife on his chair with her head and hands spread on his desk, he chuckled moving towards her.. Her mouth was open.. And she was mumbling something.. He went neat her and kneeled down to listen to her and was stunned..

Khushi (self talk in sleep)- Ya ya.. I know Arnavji, I know it all.. I know am not so modern na, so bold! I - - I don't complete you na! That's why your staying away from me.. But - - then you don't need to stay in office to avoid me.. I am going to my maayka tomorrow.. You will - -

Her eyes flew open feeling a warm breathe near her nose and she gasped.. Seeing it's her husband, she sighed.. She saw Arnav staring her and stood up quickly, which just made her ankle twisted, making her fall on him and making him fall on the Big Table behind.. She fell over him..

Khushi-I - - I am sorry.. And I - - I know you are busy, I was just leaving..

She stole her eyes off him trying to get up, when he held her wrists and rolled her to pin her below him.. Just then someone knocked at his Cabin Door and Khushi tried to get up but in dint let her.. In irritation he yelled looking at the door..

Arnav-Kaun Hai? (Who is it?)

Arnav's secretary replied and Arnav dint let her in, and in turn asked her to come later for what so ever dictation.. Arnav looked at Khushi whom he had been pinning on his desk and stared her as she heaved.. She was still behaving like a newlywed Bride to his touches, even after 4 years to their marriage, he nodded his head in amusement assuming that.. Khushi saw him smirk and looked away trying to move now..

Khushi-Arnavji.. Let me go.. Aarav and Nani would be waiting for me.. Plz..

These were the only two she had to care for, except her husband..

His smirk dropped and he looked away to breathe out.. He let go of her and she stood straight on her feet and adjusted her clothes..

Khushi-I just came to give you the lunch.. I should leave..

She turned around to leave and felt her dupatta getting pulled.. She turned back to see her Arnavji holding it, and heard him speak..

Arnav-Be ready tonight.. I told you it is my friend's Wedding na?!

Khushi nodded and turned to go and mutter something to herself..

Khushi- Hmpf! He is does not even remember our Wedding Anniversary and wants me to join some other's Wedding.. Its not fait Devi Mayya..

She looked behind and told with a straight face..

Khushi-I have made your favorite food.. Check it if you find time.. Or else ur free to eat anything else.. You earn to eat.. Don't stay hungry in work pressure, it will only affect ur sugar level otherwise.. PAUSE.. I am going..

Khushi left and Arnav saw the tiffin his wife had got for him.. He opened the same to smell that mouth watering aalu puri and kheer, and had the same as his lunch with satisfaction..

Arnav (self talk)-Thanks Khushi.. Am sorry I could not take out time for us lately.. I shall try to make it up to you tonight.. *smirks*.. But u better cooperate..!

Raizada Mansion.. Kitchen..

Evening 6.00 pm..

Khushi was wearing a yellow saari and was trying to reach the top kitchen shelf going on her toes..

Khushi-Aarav, its too high beta, I can't reach.. When daddy comes back, tell him to get it down for you..

Khushi said to Aarav who wanted to eat chocolates which were kept away by Arnav..

Aarav-No Maa, daddy won't allow na, plz plz.. I want it.. Try again na..

Khushi sighed and nodded.. Khushi again turned to the same kitchen shelf and stretched her hand to reach the top shelf and shut her eyes and thinned her lips going on her toes now, to reach the chocolate box..

Suddenly, she jumped feeling two strong hands circle around her bare waist under her Saree and raise her up from the ground to help her reach her aim.. Her hand was pulled down when she turned her head aroung and saw her Arnavji carrying her.. She saw Aarav standing on the side jumping and clapping..

Aarav-Yay! Daddy ne Maa ko utha liye! (Daddy carried Maa..!!)

She gulped as she could not think straight..
