PART 31

Days passed too quickly. It was nearly a month since kushi went to shantivan. Things got difficult for arnav with every passing day. She is not the same kushi who flutterd with his presence. Since the day she had been to HOPE, he saw a new determined kushi. He hated himself to think like this, but he sensed that this is not going to work. Most of the time kushi worked in the kitchen or spent time with nani. Arnav didn't knew how to feel with nani's health improvement.Should he feel happy that nani is recovering or feel sad that kushi is going to leave soon.

She stopped making eye contact with him. He heard her asking O.P about his health and whereabouts but did not make an attempt to talk to him. Day by day he lost hope

Every morning, kushi told herself to be strong. She sucessfully supressed that feeling she got whenever she saw arnav ji. One more day, one more challenge she said herself. She tried her best to stay away from him. She tried her maximum to engage in kitchen or with nani ji. She was glad at nani ji's improvement. Doctor told them that she may get better and start walking within a week. Kushi was happy that soon she can leave shantivan and can never think about this house or arnav ji again

Tinky strolled around the corridor twirling her curls..Ufff things are boring now a days. Nannav bhaiyya was always serious. Even though she noticed the stiffness between her didi and bhaiyya she didn't give any thought about it. She rolled her eyes at the antiques and flower vases around her. Why keep them when no one are allowed to touch it. Her tracks stopped seeing arnav's room and pool side door opened. She bit her lips and checked whether the coast is clear. This is nice time to give a look. She took baby steps to the pool side

There were many colors of roses and other flowers..just like home she thought. She so missed esther maa and buaji. A beautiful blend of pink and white rose caught her eye. Without thinking she plucked it and smelt the sweet fragrance of the flower. But her eyes widened hearing the footsteps. She couldn't figure out where they were coming from. At that moment she wanted to get out of the room as soon as possible. In that hurry, she accidentally collided with a shelf and a glass photo frame fell breaking into pieces

"What the hell!!!!" Her body shivered with his thundering voice. She slowly titled her head to see arnav fuming. Before even she can explain he caught hold of her tiny sensitive shoulders and dragged her to face him

With that one harsh touch, red marks appeared on her arms and tears brimmed her doe eyes

" Nannav bh..bhaiyya..." She stammered sobbing

"Enough!!!" She shuddered at his voice moving back , No one has ever shouted on her like that

" Who gave you permission to enter here? Im not saying anything about your silly behavior but it does not mean that you can do whatever you want tinky" He spat at her scaring her to the core. But he was is no mood to calm down. Then the rose caught his attention

" How dare you enter into my garden and pluck my flowers?" He gripped her hands making her sob badly..

" Chupp!!! Stop crying now!!!" Its enough..unable to bear his high voice she closed her ears weeping at his scoldings. Before even she can leave, he caught hold of her ruthlessly not even caring that shez a kid and shut his door on her face.

Tinky ran searching for kushi. Her arms pained and burned due to his rough handling. She coudlnt see anything as her tears obstructed her sight. She ran and ran, collided with a soft body which she very well knew

"Tinky?? What happened?" Kushi cupped tinky and startled seeing her all red and sobbing loudly. She immediately hugged the little child patting her hair.

" Who did this to you tinky?" She asked her shushing and whispering its okay

"Na..nannav bhaiiya ne..." kushi's eyes widened in shock. How can arnav ji do this to her? She drew tinky closer but she flinched. Then kushi noticed the red marks on her arms. Anger blazed in her. What ever may be the reason, he is not supposed to behave in harsh way with a child. Her thoughts drifted as a heavy body slipped on her. Kushi patted tinky's cheeks but no reponse. She hastily carried her to room and laid on bed. She wiped the wet face and kissed her forehead. She took deep breath and headed towards his room

Kushi headed towards arnav's room. How dare he yell at her tinky? How did he have a heart to yell and hurt such an innocent child? Arguing with herself she bumped into a hard body, recognizing who it is she stumbled back. He wasn't the same arnav she knew. His eyes were red In anger. He is in no mood to talk to her, he rolled his eyes and walked away, But kushi blocked him. He knew exactly the reason she is here. Since 2 weeks she didn't even bother to see him and now, he hurt tinky and she is here to ask reason for his behavior. He folded his arms across his chest waiting for her next move

" What was that arnav ji? Why did you behave with tinky in that way? Do you even.." Before she can continue

" Kushi, I don't have to answer you or anybody" He replied with an attitude and tried to walk away from there but again blocekd by her

"No, Im not allowing you to go from here unless.." her words stopped seeing his room. The shelf was broken scattering all the books and files in the room. Then she realized what took place minutes before.

"You hurt her just because she accidentally broke your cupboard?" She asked him pointing her fingers at him with blazing eyes

That's it! Arnav couldn't control anymore. It wasn't just a cupboard...Tinky broke his memory..the only memory his mother had left him. The picture of his and his mother broke when the cupboard fell down. He gripped her shoulders clenching his teeth and pinned her to the door

" Just a cupboard? NO IT WASN'T..!!!!" A shriek escaped her mouth as his fingers dug into her arms but he didn't care. Tears already ran from her eyes but it did not make any effect on him which stunned her.

She managed to utter these words" I didn't expect...th..that you..will hurt me like th..this..How can you be so emm..emotionless. I didn't e..expectt" Her arms pained like hell, she can already feel her skin poking by his fingers and gave a burning sensation

But arnav..his act shocked her. He ran fingers in his thick dark hair and laughed hysterically

" Since when did you start EXPECTING something from me kushi? " His question startled her. But arnav..he did not regret the act he is doing right now...She wriggled under his grip but he didn't let her go

" Its been two weeks kushi...TWO BLOODY WEEKS!!!! You didn't even bother to give a look at me. Why did you come now? Because I hurt your sister?" Kushi quivered in fear panicking as he raised his voice louder and higher

" Yes !!! I hurt her...! Because she broke my mothers photograph!! How dare she enter my room and pool side. I never allow anyone to enter. How dare she?????!!! That's my mother's photo kushi..MY MOTHERS!!!" With every word kushi registered, He dug his nails making his mark on hers. Kushi sobbed under his gaze but he didn't give a damn. He have had enough with kushi and tinky.

He pushed her back to the door, she yelled in pain but he left the place without even giving her a last glance

160...that was the speed arnav was driving. He felt lava of fire building up inside him. He had controlled himself since many days. He had tried to be patient with her, tried many ways of letting her understand that he loves her but kushi..? He tightened his grip on steering and increased the speed. He applied break causing the car to stop abruptly with a screech. He closed his eyes tight as the past incident flooded in his mind

FLASH BACK

" Kushi...Im sorry for what happened in the morning" Arnav tried to apologize for his behavior after their return from HOPE

" Its okay arnav ji...But I need to say you something" Arnav's eyes glint with hope..What if she also started to feel something? His ears twitched up eagerly for her answer

" From now on we wont see each other to avoid these confrontations. I came here to nurse nani ji, so I will continue to do my work. And I feel something is really going wrong since the day I've met you which is a very bad sign for me. I don't know what you are expecting from me but Im here to do my work and I will leave this house forever. Its better we don't see each other or converse" Her every word broke his heart but she was not affected. He saw her determination spirit and self confidence. Since that day they never saw each other. Even though he attempted to talk to her, all the plans went in vain"

Arnav's eyes turned red, volcanoes burning in his eyes, and heat building in his veins. His nose flared in anger and started the car once again

Kushi silently wiped her tears, rubbing her palms over tinky's tiny ones. She is having a high temperature. Her body jerked at the thought of how arnav pinned her and hurted her. Kushi didn't have any idea for his reaction.

" Its been two weeks kushi...TWO BLOODY WEEKS!!!! You didn't even bother to give a look at me. Why did you come now? Because I hurt your sister?"

She gulped her dry throat. It is true that she has avoided him beyond the limits. But why did it make a difference? Why should he become tempered because of her ignorance. What is she to him?

She fought with her notions.No, what ever the reason be, he is not supposed to shout at Tinky. It is true that she sneaked into his room but the breaking of photo frame was an accident. She is never gonna forgive him...NEVER

On the other side, Anjali sat in the sofa holding her baby bump carefully. She is not going to leave arnav until he apologize to kushi and tinky. She has been observing the distance between kushi and him. The other day he yelled at her too releasing his frustration. But it doesn't mean that he hurt a poor soul. She twitched her mouth with determination of making arnav apologize

The cool breeze hit the person who sat alone on the bench. His shoulders were stiff in tension and nerves were bulging out.The lush of green grass did not sooth him. His body moved in and out as he breath. His eyes closed trying to calm down. All the incidents flashed before him as his fists tightened around each other

" Who gave you permission to enter here? Im not saying anything about your silly behavior but it does not mean that you can do whatever you want tinky"

" What was that arnav ji? Why did you behave with tinky in that way?"

" I didn't expect...th..that you..will hurt me like th..this..How can you be so emm..emotionless. I didn't e..expectt"

He pushed her back to the door, she yelled in pain but he left the place without even giving her a last glance

"What have I done?" His heart filled with regret. Why did her yell at kushi? What was her mistake? Why did her make such a scene? Why did he hurt her? Images of kushi...her tears..His marks on her arm...Sobs of tinky...all these pictures exploded in his mind eating away his heart. With a force he hit the bench in penitence. His wrist was hurt but not as badly as kushi's. He silently wiped his tears before they can fall. He hurried to the car and zoomed off at once

Anjali's twin eyes broadened as she saw arnav entering house. She stood glaring at him with arms folded across her chest. He did nothing but lashes low in guilt. She too said nothing. She want her brother to respond , not react. He frowned as his family doctor approached him

" Mr. Saxena? What are you doing here?"

Anjali charged towards them and interrupted docotr" Doctor, I will tell arnav everything, thank you for checking on tinky, Namaste!" Arnav's face turned into horror listening tinky's name."What happened chote? Why did your face become blue? " Anjali asked with sarcasm with made arnav feel more guilty. " Di..Im so sorry...*she shook her head in denial...* Sorry for what chote? For hurting tinky or for being so insensitive. She is a small kid and you removed all your badaas on her? Go and apologise to both of them..and chote * Moving an inch front * You very well know it is not easy to win kushi ji, If you show yourself like this there will be no hope left...REMEMBER THAT..even Im not going to help you" Her words pricked his heart but he deserved it didn't he. He gulped down and headed towards tinky's room

It was already late and everyone retired to their rooms. He peeped into the small gap between ink's door. He can see buts of kushi and tinky. He was about to knock but kushi opened the door. He fumbled with his words and tried to say sorry. But kushi already banged the door on his face. Feeling helpless, he retired to his room thinking of ways to pacify tinky and kushi

Sun has risen and birds tweeted happily but there was no blink of sleep for arnav. His eyes already went inside their pockets. He took a look at himself in the mirror. He looked no less than a panda with dark eyes. His heart sunk at the thought of pacifying tinky. She is a tough nut to crack. What to do ? he wondered. First things first, He washed up himself and made way to the dining hall to check the environment of the house

Kushi lovingly fed tinky in spite of her resistance. Thank god, that her fever has come down. Everyone got alerted with hearing the great ASR's foot steps. Tinky had a glint of fear but not too much as kushi didi is with her.

Tinky widened her eyes as she felt his foot steps near and near to her, she bit her lips and eyes closing squinting tight. As he neared her her heart thumped in fear. She opened her eyes slowly in curiosity. There she saw nannav bhaiyya holding his ears

" Tinky..vo..main..." Her heart melted but the way he shouted at her like a zombie flashed before her. She twitched her mouth in anger and left the table giving a head turn

" what the..!" Arnav was astonished but kushi followed tinky ignoring him.." Di...* anjali head turn* He sighed..unless he appease tinky things aren't going to be better

" Tinky, stay in this room only beta * patting her cheeks* anjali ji and mami ji had gone ot mandir. I will also pray, teeke? *kissing her forehead* Don't step out of this room" Kushi warned tinky, in return she nodded taking all the instructions

Ten minutes passed, She frowned in boredom, playing with her curls. She bit her lips and took baby steps towards the door. Victory smile formed on her lips as she successfully came out of the room. She headed towards the stairs but someone from behind closed her mouth and blindfolded her. She tried to shout but her mouth was tied with the help of a cloth...and very soon there was all darkness.
