Chapter 32
(thanks to -chamkilli-)The whole day anjali did not allow arnav to work. He just got tired of sleeping all day on the bed and being work less. It was finally bed time and all retired to their rooms. He tip toed from his room making sure he didn't make any noise. He reached kushi's room and peeped in.
She was there, as usual in her white dress and her dupatta covering her head till her temples. She was on her knees with her hands joined, Perhaps she is praying he noted. He sighed and closed the door. Things are changing slowly, but deep down he is scared. This is not at all easy step for kushi. For gods sake she is a nun, A nun who took an oath to never get married in her life, who devoted her life to christ. The only thing he can do is to take things slow and make her understand that her heart is free and she should take courage to follow it

As the sun rose spreading its light to the earth kushi looked out of her window enjoying the morning sun on her face. She smiled at the chirpings of the bird and grabbed her bag moving out of the room
Everyone gathered for their breakfast as kushi descended the stairs.
"Arey kushi ji, Where are you going early in the morning?"
" Voh anjali ji...I have to go to HOPE.." she replied with a soft smile while arnav looked on
Anjali sensed something is wrong and decided not on push her further
" Fine kushi ji, but atleast leave after having your breakfast, Later chote will drop you"
Kushi replied instantaneously " Aree no anjlai ji, I will go by myself" She walked fast towards the door to avoid anymore questions. After stepping out she took a deep breath but to her surprise, the majestic SUV halted before her. She gazed with an O mouth as arnav got down and opened the door for her. She gulped even though her throat is dry. She have no other option now. Silently she got into the front seat.
Before even he lean and help her in the seat belt, she jerked back startling arnav. There was some kind of inconvenience visible on her face, She sternly replied
"Hum karsakthe"
The way she answered without looking at him irked him to the core. He clenched his jaw and zoomed off to HOPE

The car halted before HOPE and kushi rushed towards the gate but was pulled back and pinned to the car which stunned her and rooted her to the ground. She fiddled with her hand but he forcefully pinned her back, throwing daggers at her. His eyes were red as kushi shivered at his anger
"What's up with you? Did I do something? What did I do so wrong that you aren't even looking at me? And why you wanted to come here early in the morning?" He blasted at her not even allowing her to think. Kushi gathered her strength
" Har cheez aapko bathane ke liye koi zaroorath nahin hai" She spat back at him. She put all her strength in her fists and pushed him back, but in turn he roughly pushed her back to the car's wall
"Watch your tone kushi, don't even dare to talk to me in that way, I wont tolerate" He shouted as she hided her face to the other side.
"Tell me what's wrong kushi! Why did you want to come here? " She didn't say anything but just closed her eyes. after few seconds she whispered
"Aaj hamari amma, bauji ka death anniversary hai!" A lone tear ran down her rosy cheek while he was stunned with the answer. He slowly loosened his grip while she quickly wiped her tears and ran away leaving him bewildered

Kushi shut the door behind her and fell to the ground hiding her face. She just couldn't think anything, everything was blurred and confused. She has never behaved in that way with anyone. But today she has shouted back at some one and that was arnav ji. She never felt so hopeless, Images of their first meeting and after flashed like clips.Her thoughts were halted as she heard someone banging on the door. She hurriedly wiped her tears and calmed herself.
She found Mother Esther at the door. Kushi wiped her tears trying to smile but her tears were visible. Esther, with concern patted her hair and asked
"Kushi, whats wrong?" she shakily wrapped her hands over Esther and silently cried. Esther held her dearly not questioning anything and let her heart out. After a few seconds she calmed down and pulled back
"I just felt like seeing you mother and aslo today is..." She was interrupted by mother
" There's no need to tell, I remember what is today" Kushi faintly smiled and both walked up to the chapel

Esther observed kushi as she prayed in the chapel. There were dark circles around her eyes, she looked pale and the most important thing, she is fighting within herself. She sighed and headed for a walk by the time kushi completes her quiet time.
With each step, esther's mind filled with doubts, what is wrong with kushi? Why is she so disturbed? Did I take a wrong decision by sending her to shantivan?
As she walked on the green grass, with her thoughts clouded , Her eyes frowned at the sight before. A white SUV was parked in front of the gate and arnav was standing leaning on the door lost in his thoughts. Now she is sure what is happening. She cant let happen this. It is true that she always wanted kushi to be happy but not after what kushi has promised, not to her but to God. It was merely kushi's decision to take an oath of NUN. She never forced her. But now she cannot let her child deflect from the righteous path into the world. She hastily went back to the chapel to meet kushi.

Kushi hugged each and every child in the orphanage. She so missed her home and her people. After her quiet time and meeting everyone, she felt her heart lighten a bit, she felt the burden melting little by little. She waved bye for the last time and headed towards the gate. Her steps halted seeing esther. She gave a soft smile while Esther signaled her to follow her into the garden
"What happen Mother? Do you want to say something?" Kushi asked expecting an answer
"Pehle yeh batao ki Devyani ji kaisi hai?" Esther asked in a calm voice while watering the plants. Kushi smiled and took another pump and started helping esther
"Nani ji, Anjali ji, Mammi ji, Prakash Bhaiyya, aur Tinky, sab log teek hai" Kushi replied while adorning the red rose hanging on the plant
.
"Aur Arnav?" Hearing his name kushi's face turned pale. She hesitantly smiled and looked here and there not knowing where there conversation was heading to
"Acha chodo, Tell me how are you? " Kushi glowered and replied
"Hum toh teek hai Mother..But, why are you..." Their talk was interrupted by kushi's cell phone. She excused herself and left to talk. After a few seconds she came back
"It was Anjali ji, She is worried that Im not home yet" She explained while Mother noded
" Kushi, before you leave I just want to say something..." Kushi listened intently registering each and every word and syllable
" Look at that flower!" Esther pointed out towards the huge plant of roses of red color. But there is one rose which is White and full of thorns. Kushi tried to understand what mother want to convey her
" Here all roses are red in color kushi, Except that one white rose. Though it is surrounded by thorns and had a hard time blooming, It is the most beautiful and pure one among all the roses."
She took kushi's hands in her's and spoke with an eye contact
" This rose indicate our lives kushi, We are all human beings, but we are different from others. Our vision, Our purpose in life is different. The path and journey we chose is filled with thorns, but our destination is worth of these troubles. No matter what happens, Don't forget who you are and what you want to be kushi" She cupped her face and continued
" You are one of the brave and strong person I've ever seen, No other girl would take a decision which you took by sacrificing your wishes and desires, But kushi, When you promised , you have to keep that promise, Don't forget that..." She smiled and kissed her forehead
" And I know you will pass this test too" With that she left kushi who registered each and everything her mother had explained. A faint which turned into a huge smile formed on her face. Yes! This is it! This is just a test, a temptation, like a Red light which is trying to change her mind.
Even now she is not sure what has happened, but one this she is sure of is, From now on, she will never fall into any trap, because she know who she is and where she belong. She belong to God, Her heart, soul and body, everything belong to him, Only HIM

He piled up instantly seeing her. He made up his mind to apologies for his early behaviour but She walked to him and said her words
"Im sorry for my behavior arnav ji, but you shouldn't behave with me ever again like that. You cannot ask me to answer your every question. And you cannot force me into anything. Im really sorry for what happened earlier" She said everything in one go and walked towards the car waiting him to unlock the door. Arnav was rooted to the ground but composed himself and started back to shantivan
Kushi smiled to herself. Few hours back she was hell scared and nervous to sit with him in the car. But now, there is no more chaos or confusion. She silently prayed that nani ji should get well soon, so that she can go back to hope and move on with her normal life

Well...I guess all are ready to throw tomatoes at me..but for this is needed...Its not so easy for kushi to realise her feelings and move on...More twists yet to come
