Chapter 34

Tinky frowned and rubbed her eyes. She can see nothing but blurred images. Slowly the vague image turned to clear one. Her mouth opened wide as her eyes scanned the whole place. Her lips broke into wide smile. The pool side was filled with fairy lights and candles floated in the pool. She frowned and tried to figure out what was written.

"Sorry"

Different colors of flowers were arranged in the pool with the letters SORRY. She bit her lips and smiled and looked around. There he stood, Nannav bhaiyya..! She suppressed her smile and acted all angry with hands across her chest and twitched mouth. he walked towards her and cupped her face forcing her to look at him .

" Tinky I'm so sorry..Im really sorry.." He said holding his years. She felt very bad seeing him like this. She lowered her head with guilt and replied " Im so sorry nannav bhaiyya, I shouldn't have entered your room" A lone tear scroll down her bubbly cheeks. " Yes, you shouldnt have come" She wondered at his answer and looked at him. Both of them broke into laughter. She hugged arnav just like a teddy bear chanting sorry. He pulled back and said" So from now on you are allowed to enter into pool side whenever you want" He said cheerfully.

"Yayyy!" She squealed in joy

"But!!" His words stopped her curious of his rules. He patted her hair and replied" If you want any flower just let me know, don't pluck without my permission. Okay?" She nodded and threw herself on him jumping and hugging at the same time

A soft smile formed on the person who was far witnessing the scene. Her eyes widened in alert when arnav turned towards her. She hid behind the curtain and slowly fled away to her room smiling

" Kushi kumari guptha, I will defently win your heart" Arnav noted in determination

NEXT DAY MORNING

" Kushi?" His voice jerked her and she accidently threw the spoon on the floor. He grabbed the chance and picked it for her.

" Kushi, I'm sorry for everthing I said to you" He apologised like a gentleman. She didn't even look at him which irked him. Yet he calmed and blocked her sight

" Kushi I said I'm sorr..." Before he could complete she started walking away form him. He supressed his lips in anger and caught her hand pulling back but made sure that there was neat distance between them

"Kushi, What's wrong with you? I know that you saw me patching up with tinky, Every person make mistakes, why are you...?" She pulled back from his handhold bit he stubbornly blocked her

" Hatiye hamari raaste se" She took the chance and fled from there. He fisted his hands and nose flared in anger. For some reason she didn't feel like forgiving him so soon. No one has ever tried to pacify her, and arnav trying to appease her made her feel special.

AFTER FEW HOURS

"Kushi ji? Will you do me a favor?" She looked up one anjali who sweetly asked her batting her eyelids

" Can you please take this tray of food to chote? Hari prakash ji has gone to bazaar to get vegetables.

" but anjali ji, Im feeding Nani.." Anjali interrupted and spoke out

" Its okay kushi ji, I will feed her" Anjali grabbed the plate from kushi while nani made sure that she will be okay. Unable to decline she took the tray of food and headed towards his room.

She peeped into the room and saw that he was on the pool side on the phone. She tip toed in as fast as she can. She placed the plate on the desk and hurried back to the door only to be caught by him

" Kushi wait..!" Before even he can catch her, she rushed outside and shut the door behind her. But the squeal from the room inside brought worry on her face. She opened the door and shocked to see his finger bleeding. Unknowingly she shut the door in-between his fingers

"Arnav ji..!' She took an inch forward but he signaled to stop by showing his palm. His fingers were red with blood and also little swollen. She tried to touch him but he flinched back bringing tears to her.

"Ab kush ho tum?" He asked her with sarcasm. " After all I deserve this for hurting you" He grabbed his brief case, not caring about the bleeding hands and walk past her. She hurt him, His hand was bleeding, yet she couldn't do anything. Sobs escaped her mouth, tears ran out of her doe eyes and body shivered. She silently wiped her tears. Even though it was an accident, she blamed herself for causing him pain. Suddenly a thought stroke her mind. She placed her fingers between the door and closed it.

Tears ran uncontrollably, She bit her lips bearing the pain as her skin pierced between the sharp ends of door. She gasped taking in all the pain and finally removed it. Before even anyone can come, she ran away from his room shutting herself in her world

Arnav arrived so late that even HP went to bed. He sighed, Lots of work now days! He made way to his room glancing at kushi's. Why are the lights still on? He wondered. He was about to open the door but his eyes fell on the blood stains on the wooden knob. It was definitely not his because when he got hurt there was no such mark. His brows frowned in doubt. His eyes shifted at the sound from kushi's room. Without giving a second thought he barged into her room

Kushi's eyes widened in shock seeing him in her room. She instantly hid her hands behind her, her body alerted as she noticed his gaze traveling around her hands. He took a step ahead and pulled them out and shocked to see. Her fragile fingers were hurt, they developed wound and not dressed with ointment. Realization hit him. She did it purposefully. Her pearly tears rolled on her cheeks as he brushed her wound

" Arnav ji..Im sorr..." She couldn't complete because of the pain

" SHh...he consoled her patting her hair...its okay kushi..." He removed the first aid kit and applied medicine on her hand. Kushi didn't knew anything because she already slipped into deep slumber without realizing that he is still there beside her

A lone tear passed from his eyes and fell on her milky palm. Making sure that she is asleep he slowly took her palm and pressed to his lips and uttered

"I love you kushi"

The fresh air of sun broke into kushi's room playing with her rains. She stirred on bed and blinked her eyes. She moved her fingers to check if the pain was still there. Feeling something weird she got up and noticed that her finger was neatly bandaged with ointment. She smiled softly and mumbled

"Thank you arnav ji"

She broke from her trance as she saw someone's shadow on her door. She fixed her hair and dress. She was shocked to see HIM standing in her doorstep

" tum teek ho?" His brown eyes melted her away. She realized what she was thinking and removed her gaze from him."Yes, Im fine" she replied not making eye contact. He nodded and left the place.

While making his way to the door, unable to stop, he glanced back to see her for the last time before going to work. His signature smirk formed on his lips that kushi was also staring at him but hid herself when he turned back." Finally, things are getting back again. This new day brought a new hope for him"

" But maa ji, Sister Nirmala has told me that it is very important to attend this conference for all the new nuns" Kushi argued with her

" No kushi, its okay! I will inform the elder sister that you are at work.You cannot leave shantivan abruptly right? They might need your services." Esther tried to reason kushi

" No mother, I can manage for two hours. You were the one who told me that this meeting is MUST attend to all the new NUNS" Esther suppressing her anger and replied

" Kushi, get back to work. It is not really necessary to come, I will speak with mother Elizabeth about the reason of your absence" Before kushi could say anything, esther hung up leaving kushi in confusion. She was once told that this meeting is very important. But why esther mother is not allowing me to go there. There is something really fishy about this.
