Chapter 10

Asad "What? Are you mad cause I stole your first kiss?"

Zoya (Oh... That was my very first kiss and with Asad. But it didn't bother me at all... actually, I am glad.)

Zoya denies it by shaking her head.

Asad "Do you want some more?"

Zoya looks away shyly.

Asad "Close your eyes and sleep."

The next morning, Zoya wakes up feeling better.

Zoya "Asad."

Asad "Whoa... Can you talk?"

Zoya "Yeah, but my throat still hurts."

Asad embraces Zoya softly.

Asad "I was so worried."

Captain Jack Sparrow and the others come in that moment and Asad moves a little away from Zoya.

Zoya "Captain, thank you for..."

Captain Jack Sparrow "That's alright love."

Riya hugs Zoya and has tears in her eyes.

Riya "I was afraid that you would..."

Zaroon "But you better rest properly for a while. Total recovery might take few days."

Matthew "You haven't eaten for 2 days so you better finish everything that I cook for you."

Haider "I am so relieved to see you are fine."

Zoya (Gosh! His arm looks really bad.)

Zoya "How is your hand?"

Haider "It is still healing."

*Three Days Later*

Zoya has had a speedy recovery. She is finally able to walk and eat properly. Asad helped her a lot in this.

Captain Jack Sparrow "Listen up! We're gonna sneak into Moldor to repair our ship."

Asad "But the navy headquarters are there!"

Captain Jack Sparrow "That's why we smuggle ourselves in. We mix ourselves with the commoners and fool the navy."

Asad "I am totally against this."

Zoya (Why is Asad reacting like this? There must be a reason why he doesn't want to go there.)

Zoya (Our ship is due to arrive in Moldor by tomorrow morning. The sea is really calm tonight.)

Zoya "I wonder where is Asad. I hope he is in a better mood by now."

Zoya (Aah! There he is on the back side.)

Asad "Hey, why are you stalking' me like that?"

Zoya (Oops... He's sharp as hell.)

Zoya "It was you who told me not to be alone on the ship."

Zoya snuggled right next to Asad.

Zoya (He is blankly staring in the direction of Moldor.)

Asad "Don't you wanna ask?"

Zoya (He looks sad. I can't ask anything...)

Asad "When I was a kid, I was always looking' at the sea from the hill."

Zoya (That is so like me.)

Asad "I always wanted to go somewhere, wanted to see the world. But I couldn't because my mother was unwell."

Zoya "How is she now?"

Asad "She died when I was seventeen. My father had left us all alone and I was all my mother had."

Zoya (Asad has told me about his family for the first time.)

Asad "He was only interested in his own life path. He didn't even come back when she died..."

Zoya (He is shaken up.)

Asad "And that is why I became a pirate so seek vengeance on him. He is the head in the navy whose job is to catch pirates. He is a Moldor and my mother was an Ullr."

Zoya squeezes Asad's hand to comfort him.

Asad "You always make a lot of noise, but you're quiet now."

Zoya "I know that you'll prefer this."

Asad "You are really strange."

Asad hugs Zoya tightly and stays like that for a while.

The next morning everyone arrives in Moldor and is walking through the streets except Riya and Arjun who stayed back to guard the ship as it was risky otherwise.

"You! Ullr, How dare you come in my store."

Zoya (Someone is shouting at the store.)

Arjun "Ullr, they're one of the minorities..."

Zaroon "But this land was originally theirs. Moldor invaded their land and Ullr were forced out."

Shop Owner "Get outta here! Now!"

A boy was kicked out of the store.

Shop Owner "Don't come back if you got no money."

Boy "I am begging you! My family has nothin' to eat."

Haider "Yo, kid!"

Haider gives the boy a gold coin.

Boy "Thank you!"

The boy leaves after bowing about hundred times.

Asad "Haider, this won't solve any real problems. One kid doesn't make discrimination and poverty disappear."

Captain Jack Sparrow "I think we need to work on the problem that we have in hand. Haider, Matthew and Zoya will go get food while us others will go get stuff to repair the ship."

Haider "Matthew and I are heading to the liquor store. Zoya, can you get some bread?"

Zoya "Sure."

She goes into the main market to find a commotion there.

Zoya (A police officer is trying to harassing an Ullr girl.)

The girl suddenly slaps the officer.

Officer "How dare you? I am gonna throw you in jail."

Zoya "Aren't you crossing the line?"

The officer turns to face her.

Zoya "She didn't do anything wrong."

The officer violently grabs her arm.

Officer "Shove this one in the jail, too!"

Zoya (It's really dark here.)

Girl "I am sorry, because of me..."

Zoya "Hush! It's ok."

Suddenly the officer comes there and turns to look at Zoya.

Officer "You are a pirate, right?"

Zoya (How did he find out?)

Officer "You'll be executed tomorrow morning."

--

The next morning, Zoya is taken to the town square by some officers.

Officer "Kneel down."

After making Zoya forcefully do so, he puts the gun on her head.

Officer "Still young... pity you."

Zoya "You're more pitiful for killing an innocent person."

Officer "Still being stubborn in your last moment."

The officer moves to touch Zoya's face but before he could a gun shot was heard and the officer's gun went flying away.

Asad "Don't touch her with your filthy hands."

Zoya "Asad!"

Officer "Security! Security army now!"

Captain Jack Sparrow "Savvy?"

Officer "There is Jack Sparrow. Leave the girl and catch him. There is a huge reward on him."

Captain Jack Sparrow "Captain Jack Sparrow, if you please sir."

Asad taking this as a chance takes Zoya away from there towards the ship where everyone is planning to sail away.

Zoya (We are sailing away.)

Zoya "What about the Captain?"

Asad "He said he'll figure a way out."

Zoya (I wonder what the Captain will do.)

And suddenly they see the Captain on the navy ship cooling talking with the officers there and waving to them.

Haider "Seems like the captain did some deal with them."

Zaroon "Or tricked them"

Captain suddenly loosens the small boat attached to the ship and jumps on it not before causing a havoc on the ship.

Captain Jack Sparrow "This is the day you will always remember as the day you almost caught Captain Jack Sparrow!"

The Captain comes back on the Black Pearl with rum in his hands and a proud look on his face.

Zoya "This is either madness... or brilliance."

Captain Jack Sparrow "It's remarkable how often those two traits coincide."

Zoya is helping Matthew in the kitchen as everyone decided to have a party.

Matthew "You are getting better at cooking."

Zoya (Matthew is not that unfriendly anymore.)

Zoya "Thanks to you."

Matthew "You are good at flattery."

Zoya "I am just being honest. You are an excellent cook."

Matthew "I'll take the compliment then."

Zoya "Lucky for me it was this ship that I was put now when I was in a barrel."

Matthew "Aren't you lucky for something else?"

Zoya "What?"

Matthew "Ya got a boyfriend, too."

Zoya (Is he talking about Asad?)

Zoya "He is not my boyfriend. He thinks of me as a kid."

Matthew "Ya real dumb. You won't even know if other guys will try to steal ya."

Zoya "Steal me?"

Matthew "Like this..."

Matthew grabs Zoya's chin!
