Chapter 11

Matthew grabs Zoya's chin!

Matthew "Why are ya blank?"

Zoya "Cause, I don't know what you are doing?"

Matthew "I guess this is the point that Asad finds the most charming in you; your innocence."

Suddenly Asad comes in and Matthew lets go of Zoya's chin.

Asad "Since when did you change your taste in women Matthew? I thought you weren't interested in kids."

Matthew "I was just teasing her."

Zoya (Asad is staring at Matthew.)

Asad "Zoya, I need a hand on the deck. Come."

Asad grabbed Zoya's wrist and tugged her away from the kitchen.

Zoya "Didn't you say that you needed help on the deck? Deck is the other way..."

Asad "Shut up!"

Zoya "Are you... jealous?"

Asad "I said shut up! I'll throw you into the sea."

Zoya "You won't as you can't."

Asad pushes Zoya towards the wall.

Zoya "W...what?"

Asad "I was just making fun of you."

Zoya (That is what Matthew said before.)

Asad "Don't let people make fun of you."

Zoya "You are surprisingly jealous..."

Asad "Drop dead!"

Asad storms away from there whereas Zoya giggles.

The next morning, there is a meeting of the entire crew. Everyone except Haider and Zaroon are there.

Captain Jack Sparrow "We are going to Skull Island'."

Riya "Is the treasure there?"

Captain Jack Sparrow "The map says so."

Asad "Where is the map?"

Captain Jack Sparrow "It's right where it is supposed to be."

Arjun "But it's gone."

Captain Jack Sparrow "But usually it is the rum that is gone."

At that moment, Zaroon comes in with a letter.

Zaroon "I found this in Haider's room. The Rika snuck in yesterday and took the map as well as Haider."

Matthew "How dare they? And how did they find us?"

Matthew looks at Riya who is shocked at this.

Riya "Do you suspect me?"

Matthew "There is no one else that could do so."

Zoya "I trust Riya completely."

Riya gives a faint smile to Zoya and walks away out of the room.

Arjun "How could you?"

Arjun grabs Matthew's collar and Zaroon with great efforts pulls them away.

Arjun "She can never do something like this. I will never forgive you for hurting her."

Matthew "If that is the case then I am sure that you must hate yourself as you have hurt her now and then since she has joined our crew."

Arjun looks at Matthew and after a while leaves the room.

Asad "That was quick thinking, Matthew."

Zoya (I get it now. Matthew was just trying to make Arjun realise his wrong doing.)

Zoya "But how will we get Haider back? And why did they take him?"

Asad "He's the insurance. They can exchange him for treasure in case we find it before them."

After some time, Arjun and Riya walk in holding hands.

Zoya (Riya has a blush on her cheek.)

Matthew "I am sorry for earlier but I had to do so."

Arjun "I surely needed that."

Zaroon "Now we must think about how to get Haider back."

Riya "I know more about Rika' then anyone else."

Everyone gets to discussion.

Zoya (I am so happy for Arjun and Riya.)

It's night time, Zoya is camping in the jungle along with Asad and Matthew. The Captain is abode the ship which is hidden at the other side of the island. Zaroon, Arjun and Riya have gone to get Haider.

Zoya (I need to use the washroom. I guess I'll have to go in the bushes now.)

Zoya walks a little away and on her way back bumps into Tom.

Tom "So who do we have here?"

He grabs Zoya by her waist and pulls her towards him.

Zoya "Let me go or else you'll be sorry."

Tom "You don't seem to be afraid of me."

A gun shot is heard and Tom lets go of Zoya.

Zoya (It has to be Asad...)

Asad "She need not fear anything as long as she has me."

Tom "I was just..."

Asad "She is mine."

Zoya (...mine)

At that moment Zaroon, Arjun and Riya arrive along with Haider.

Arjun "We got the map and Haider."

Tom "Damn you."

Asad "You can't outwit us. If you wanna live then leave."

Tom "I'll come back for sure."

Tom gives one last look to Zoya and leaves from there.

Zaroon "Let's go back to the camp."

Later that night, Zoya is unable to sleep as she is thinking about what Asad had said earlier.

Zoya (Maybe I should ask Asad.)

She walks towards Asad's camp and finds him sleeping. She by impulse starts caressing his cheeks.

Asad "I meant what I had said."

Zoya "You were awake."

Asad "I was watching you. I just wanted to be sure of you."

Zoya (Does he care for me like a kid or...)

Asad at that very moment kisses Zoya passionately.

Asad "I guess that answers everything."

Zoya "I..."

Asad "I love you, Zoya. I have for a long time."

Zoya "I love you too."

Asad and Zoya hug each other and pull away when they here a coughing sound.

Matthew "So finally you both confessed. It was high time."

Asad "You better not try to flirt with my girl from now else..."

Zoya (my girl... I love it when Asad says it like this.)

Matthew "I had heard your footsteps so I was just... well I'll leave you love birds alone for now."

The next day, they all return to the ship. The news about Zoya and Asad quickly spreads.

Zoya (Everyone is teasing us.)

Riya "I am glad that I am not going to be the only one teased now."

Arjun "Asad, you'll soon get used to it mate."

Asad "This doesn't bother me at all."

Zoya (How can Asad be so calm about it?)

Matthew "Oh. So you won't mind if we make fun of Zoya, would you?"

Asad "Not if you are ready to face the consciences."

Matthew "And wat would they be?"

Asad "I'll fed you to the sharks."

Zoya "Whenever you say this you never mean it."

Asad glares at Zoya who just smiles at him.

Captain Jack Sparrow "This is great entertainment."

Haider "Few days and we'll have the treasure."

Zaroon "Then we can drop Zoya back in her hometown for..."

Zoya "No."

Zaroon "... for a few days so that she can say a proper goodbye."

Captain Jack Sparrow "So Zoya, you want to stay with us?"

Asad looks at Zoya with no emotion in his eyes.

Zoya "Yes, I am a pirate now until the end."
