Part 7: The Eternal Embrace
As the days passed in Vrindavan, Radha's wisdom spread far and wide. The people of the village, once lost in their mundane pursuits, now looked at the world through the eyes of divine love. Krishna's presence had touched every heart, but the understanding of that presence had begun to take a new form. It was no longer about seeking Krishna through rituals or physical encounters. It was about living in love, in every moment, in every act.
Radha's teachings had stirred the very air of Vrindavan. Even the birds seemed to sing with greater joy, and the flowers bloomed in vibrant colors, as though nature itself had begun to reflect the truth of Krishna’s omnipresence. The love that Radha shared with Krishna was no longer confined to their personal bond - it had become the very essence of existence. It was as though the entire universe had opened its heart to Krishna, and in doing so, had become one with the divine.
One evening, as Radha sat by the banks of the Yamuna, watching the soft ripples on the water, Lalita joined her. The sun had just set, leaving behind a sky painted with hues of pink and gold, and the moon was beginning to rise, casting its silvery light over the world. Lalita had been Radha’s closest confidante, the one who had stood by her through every moment of doubt and pain. Now, she looked at Radha with a sense of awe.
Lalita (softly): “Radha, you are no longer the same. Your love for Krishna has transcended the form. You no longer long for his touch, his voice. You are one with him.”
Radha smiled, her heart overflowing with the serenity that only Krishna's love could bring. She looked out across the river, as if seeing Krishna in the reflection of the moon on the water.
Radha: “Yes, Lalita, I am no longer seeking him. For I have realized that Krishna was never distant. His love is not something we chase - it is something we awaken to. I no longer need to search for him in the world, for I have found him within myself. And in every soul around me, in every living being, I see his presence.”
Lalita sat beside Radha, her heart swelling with joy at hearing her friend speak with such clarity. The transformation she had witnessed in Radha over the past months had been nothing short of miraculous. It was as though Radha had become the embodiment of divine love itself, and in her presence, even the world seemed to shine brighter.
Lalita (gently): “But Radha, you still walk in this world. You still live here in Vrindavan. How is it that you have transcended everything yet remain so present with us?”
Radha turned to her friend, her eyes sparkling with the wisdom of someone who had touched the deepest truths of existence. She placed a hand gently on Lalita's shoulder.
Radha: “To transcend the world does not mean to abandon it, Lalita. Krishna has taught me that the world is his form, his expression. I have not left the world behind - I have simply seen it as it truly is. It is the playground of the divine, the canvas upon which Krishna paints his love. To love Krishna is not to retreat from life, but to live it fully, with the awareness that the divine is present in every moment. We are all part of Krishna’s dance, and when we move with grace and devotion, we move with him.”
Lalita nodded, her heart at peace. Radha's words had unlocked something within her, a realization that she, too, was part of the divine play. As she looked at the Yamuna River, she saw it not as a mere body of water, but as Krishna’s flowing grace, moving through all things, forever.
Lalita (whispering): “Radha, your love for Krishna is not confined to a time or place. It is eternal, and it flows through you, through all of us. We are all part of that love.”
Radha smiled, the softness of her expression conveying the depth of her understanding. She stood, feeling the cool evening breeze against her skin. The world around her seemed to hum with the vibrations of Krishna’s divine energy.
Radha (softly, as though speaking to the universe): “Yes, Lalita. We are all one with Krishna, now and forever. His love is the very foundation of all that is. I have always known him, and in the fullness of time, I will always know him. His love has no beginning and no end - it is eternal, infinite.”
The two women stood together in silence, watching the moon rise higher in the sky. The night was filled with the sound of the river, the rustling of the trees, and the distant call of birds returning to their nests. It was as though the entire world was holding its breath, waiting for the next note in Krishna’s symphony of love.
And in that moment, Radha felt the presence of Krishna more strongly than ever before. It was not an external presence, but an internal one - a deep and abiding connection to the divine that lived in her heart and in the hearts of all beings. The river of love flowed through her, and through every soul in Vrindavan, and beyond.
Radha (with a deep breath): “Krishna’s love is not a dream, Lalita. It is the reality of everything. The world exists because of his love. And in every moment, we are given the opportunity to realize it, to live it, to be it.”
