Chapter 61

"Umm...Arnavji... kHushi mumbled in a very feeble voice as she was biting her little pinky finger's nail and was concentrating on her work.

"Are you talking to Mrs Raizada? Arnav's loud authoritative startled her and she looked in his direction. They had been in his cabin working on their individual projects when Khushi felt his urgent need and forgetting about the place they were at she called put for him.

"Umm...I needed your help. she asked in a hope that he wouldn't stick with the rules.

"Regarding? he asked working on his laptop.

"I don't know how to get this little thing right here correctly. She told him.

"Well you should learn that from your college... he said and she snorted. He is really sticking to the rules.

"Well you know I can ask Akash ji anytime. She said.

"Well isn't he your boss too...and practically that's against the rules you framed yourself. He said completely engrossed in his own work.

"Sir please. She pouted and he shook his head.

"Mrs Raizada behave...you are practically seducing your boss here. he said and her jaw hanged open.

"I-I am not. she stuttered.

"Your mind is just guttery. She said defensively.

"Really? he asked with his arched eyebrow.

"Yes. She said trying to be look confident.

"Then I guess it's you to be blamed. He said confidently with a mocking smile.

"You were better at home with Coco...he keeps you in place. she muttered.

"I heard that. He told her.

"Then good for you... she retorted.

"But I guess Akahji is not akadu and khadus like you are. She didn't meant to say it loud but words just slip from her mouth even before she could reconsider framing a new sentence.

"What did you just said? he asked snapping his head in her direction. She used to call him akadu at times but now she just doubled it up.

"N-Nothing. She stammered trying to get up from her seat so she could just run away from his cabin incase he goes all mad.

"Just sit back Khushi. he order her while getting from his chair and walking towards her.

Her heart literally stopped beating as he advance in her direction with anger plastered all over his face. He leaned forward and kept both his hand on her handrest caging her completely in between the chair and himself.

"I'll repeat...what did you just said. he interrogated her and she looked away in nervousness. Their was no way she could run way this time.

"I...I didn't.. she stuttered.

"Khushi... he said in a threatening tone.

"A-Akadu. She admitted shutting her eyes tight.

"And? he demanded more.

"Khadus. Se added she said looking down partially in embarrassment and partially in fear. He placed his finger on her chin and forced her to look up but she kept her eyes close.

"Khushi...I swear no one...and I mean it...no one had ever dared to talk to me like that. He told her.

"Maybe that's why you never knew. she said and as soon as she finished she bit her tongue hard for ot able to control it that too in such a crucial moment.

"Well maybe. He said and she slightly opened her eyes to see her reaction and strange thing was he looked calm and what was wore was the smile which was plastered on his lips which made her frown.

"Maybe that's why I never realize that I am wrong. H admitted and she looked up t her.

"But I am trying to change for... he left his sentence in the mid-way not unaware how should he say the last few words.

"B-But why? she asked him from no where.

"Maybe I want to be a better person for someone. He said and she knew he was referring to her. a blush threatened to appear on her cheeks and she looked away. this is so wrong and this is so not supposed to happen but why does this wrong feel so right. In the end, she was waiting for him to love her and when he is giving or atleast trying to give her that position it feels so wrong. Few days back, she didn't even mattered to him, he would throw unnecessary allegations and would hate her for ruining his life, but this sudden change was really strange for his personality.

"I-I don't know w-what you are talking about. He stuttered in nervousness.

"You'll understand soon and then probably you wouldn't have to use such words from God knows which dictionary you have picked up from. He said and she narrowed her eyes.

"You are being inappropriate Sir. She said curtly and the sudden change of her mood made him frown, maybe he just offended her a bit.

"Really Mrs Raizada? he asked with a arched eyebrow and she nodded folding her hands over her cheat.

"I can complain against you. she said.

"To whom? he asked trying hard to look straight but a huge smile was threatening to appear on his lips.

"Coco... she snapped when she couldn't think of any other name.

"Now you are going to threaten me that stupid dog. He asked in amusement.

"Yes and don't call him stupid. She added.

"else you'll tell him that I called him stupid. He asked her. Sometimes it looks that he arguing with a teenage girl rather than a married woman, but it feels good.

"Good luck with your complains Khushi...and when you'll be complaining him then add one more to the the list. he said and she frowned but that didn't last longer as she quickly realized what he meant he kissed her quickly on her cheeks making her paralyzed. A chuckle escaped his throat as he saw her and went back to his chair.

Arnav entered their room to see Khushi working on her laptop, at least that's what he likes calling it. Tonight Khushi just quickly had her dinner, didn't even talk much and was now back in her room working.

"Khushi, stop stressing so much...everything will be fine. He said and she turned to look at him.

"I hope so. she said sadly.

"Well you had a problem in the morning, what's it. he asked to take the conversation ahead. He stood behind her.

"I fixed it. she said.

"Really...who helped you took? he asked bending down to her level to see her presentation.

"On my own. She said and he looked at her with amusement.

"Let me see it. he said but she shut her laptop down.

"NO...you'll see tomorrow in the conference room. she said.

"W-What...why can't I see now? he asked with a frown.

"Because I want you to see with everyone. she said casually.

"BUt Khu-..

"Now go away, I have to work a little more. she said.

"Khushi...I can help you...moreover I can see if you did something wrong. He reasoned out.

"Go Arnavji...please...I want to work on my own. She requested and he huffed.

"Fine...but you better sleep on time...no working late. He ordered and she nodded and he went straight to his bed, he was waiting for he to go for her bed but she wasn't moving an inch. He would call out for her but she would ask 5 more minutes which turned into more than an hour.

He was watching her struggle and yawn several times but she was way too stubborn to get up. he fell asleep watching her and in the middle of the night he woke up realizing he was supposed to be awake for her. he saw her sleeping with her head down on the table and her laptop was still on. He stood up and reached for her. he had the chance to see her presentation but he knows she would like it. so shutting down her laptop he scooped her up and made her lay on the bed. she was so tired that she didn't even struggled once in his arm and as soon as she lay on the bed she curled up into a ball. He lay beside her and covering her with his duvet they both fell asleep.

The morning came earlier than expected for Arnav because half of the night he spent holding Khushi in place to restrict her movement or whenever she would curl up in fetal position he had straighten her back again as she would occupy whole of the bed making him shift to the edge. thankfully, she is such a heavy sleeper that she didn't woke up when he would keep her or try to keep her in place. this wasn't the first time happening, it had happened before and he couldn't help himself from smiling whenever she would wake him up sleep due to her unique sleeping abilities. He couldn't himself belief how drastically changes have occurred their relationships, earlier he was pissed now he feels happy.

Khushi opened her eyes gingerly in the morning and first thing which registered to her the place she was sleeping. She was sleeping with him, on the bed, and to be more precise caged in his arms.

"Arnavji.. she mumbled feebly which made him frown.

"Get up Arnavji...else we'll get late. She said shaking him a bit to violently and he woke up completely startled.

"Khushi...stop doing that. He said.

"First explain why I am in the bed with you. she asked as he hadn't still left her free from her arms.

"I can ask the same question Khushi. he said with a yawn.

"I am pretty sure I don't sleep walk Arnavji. She said.

"You don't know many things you do at night Khushi. he told her referring to her attempts to conquer the entire bed which she would blatantly deny once she wakes up. Khushi didn't understand much what he said and wiggled in his grip.

"Let me free, I want to get ready. She demanded and h let her free, quite unwillingly,

"What time is it? she asked and he picked up his phone to see the time and he sat up immediately.

"Damn it 9.30. he said throwing the duvet aside.

"WHAT? she yelled and ran towards the washroom to be in their first.

"Khsuhi I am already late. He warned as the both reached the same time.

"So do i...it's a big day for me please let me go first. She requested.

"I have a suggestion, let's go together. he smirked and she automatically left the knob.

"You may go. She said in anger.

"I was kidding. He said sensing he just made her upset once again.

"It wasn't funny at all. She said folding her hands in front of her.

"But we can... he said and she narrowed her eyes.

"An you blamed me that I have a guttery mind. He rolled his eyes and her jaw hang open. He opened the door and dragged her in the washroom with him.

"Arnavji...what are you doing? she asked and instantly closed her eyes not wanting to see anything. he grabbed their brush and applied toothpaste to them while he held her in place w.

"Take. He said and she didn't even open her eyes to see instead she kept hands on her eyes completely avoiding the view.

"Khushi atleast open your eyes. he said.

"Are you naked? she asked and he couldn't help himself from a chuckle.

"See yourself. He said in between his chuckle.

"I swear Arnavji if you are naked...

"Then you'll complain to Coco. He interjected her.

"I-I...I'll... she couldn't think of anything so she remained quiet.

"It's just your toothbrush Khushi. he said and peeped out in between the small slits of her fingers and she showed her toothpaste with a mocking smile. she quickly removed her hands and snatching her brush from him she brushed her teeth.

"You are really one of a kind. He commented and she didn't even look at him from embarrassment. This was what he wanted, taking one step at a time, no matter how small that step was. he wanted to win over her heart, apologize for his mistake but the time was tricking down a little too fast. The little improvement in their relationship was a huge hope for him that one day, he'll definitely make things right. They brush their teeth together after which she left the washroom giving him time to take a shower meanwhile she packed her stuff and also packed his. the meeting was at 11:00 and Khushi was very nervous.

When the meeting was about to start she was about to call it quit but Arnav kept encouraging her and somehow he ended up taking to the conference hall. Although she began very nervously, but once gained a bit of confidence, she did great. Arnav was got so excited once she finished that he stood up and started clapping for her, he wasn't expecting her to be this good at her first meeting itself. After few second when he realized he was the only person standing and clapping he realized what was he doing. The directors were so amused seeing Arnav like that, that for a split second they kept staring him and forgot to appreciate her project but as he turned to look at them they realized what were they supposed to do. Her project was immediately approved and before leaving everyone congratulated her and Arnav stood their like a proud husband as everyone congratulated him.

Once almost everyone left Arnav reached for and hugged tightly, even she was so excited that she completely forgot that there are still few people in the room.

"Congratulations. He said.

"Thank you but this would have been impossible without you. she said.

"I didn't do anything...you kept it a secret...remember.

"You gave me the opportunity Arnavji...which was more than anything else. She said genuinely thanking him.

"Well the project was average but what amazed me here that you were pretty quick in getting this opportunity. A feminine voice made them look behind Arnav and they were a bit surprised to see Lavanya.

"She deserved that. He interjected.

"Ofcourse...I guess your services as a personal assistant were pretty good Khushi that's why he gave you this opportunity...otherwise usually it takes ages for people to reach here. she said and Khushi frowned a bit.

"I didn't get you. she asked in confusion.

"Khushi you leave. Arnav told her and her frown deepened.

"But...

"I said leave Khushi. he interjected.

"Arnav you are pretending as if she doesn't know anything...she clearly understood what I meant. He said to Arnav and then she looked behind him.

"What magic you did on him that he couldn't even see beyond you...he was never like this before...not even with any other girl he was with before but you...

"Lavanya stop it. Arnav warned her. the anger was radiating from his body and was quite evident to both of the girls.

"Why should I stop? She just snatched you away from me by spreading her legs, tell me is she that good on bed that you completely forgot what you had with me? Her words just simply blew her mind away and her jaw hung open. Tears were filling in her eyes as this was just too much for her to hear.

"STOP IT LAVANYA!!! he yelled at her but Khushi was way too shattered after hearing her words that she couldn't even think anything apart from running away from their.

"Khushi... he took her name wanting her to stop but she was way too quick.

"What the hell was that Lavanay? he seethed as he grabbed her roughly by her arm.

"Did I say something wrong? she asked and he buried his names deeper in her skin with rage.

"Stay away from me and Khushi...this is my first and the last warning to you. he warned her. His nose was flaring with anger and he didn't even attempt to stop.

"So now you...

"I am not going to listen any single word against her from your mouth...is that clear? he asked.

"Else? she pushed him more.

"Else you and your brother both are going to regret Lavanya... he said pushing her away a little too roughly making her stumble back but he care the least. He marched out of the room to look for Khushi, right now he wanted to be with her and tell her that LAvanya's word doesn't even matter but he was a bit to late when he saw her things packed which clearly showed that she had left.
