Chapter 48
UNSPOKEN LOVE
CHAPTER 45
10 days...10 long days passed and there was no sign of improvement in their relation. Hardly few words were exchanged between them. the words which can be easily counted on the finger recreated the defination of few'. The situation inspite of moving in a positive direction was getting to a negative side as this time the fight was not just between to people but also the fight was with the feeling which was brewing in them slowly, yet strongly. Khuhsi was trying hard to control the damage she did to herself by falling in love with her husband whereas Arnav was in a denial phase. In these 10 days he tried harder to convince himself that whatever he feels for her it's not love. Love can't happen to ARnav Singh Raizada. Although his brain was busy screaming it's not love' but a small whispers from his hearts that it's love' would ruin everything. all and all the situation had gotten to a worse side. Arnav Singh Raizad was being worse then his usual self. He would snap at anyone, anywhere and anytime. No one wanted to face his wrath at this time so most of the people refrained themselves from his company.
Khushi on the other hand had convinced herself that she'll be okay soon but as soon as she would see him again all those emotions would keep rushing to her. She hated them, she hated him and she hated herself for landing herself in this situation.
Staring at the screen of the laptop, she was startled when a sudden noise of door opening woke the sleeping Coco in her room. Coco, Anjali named the puppy Coco as Khushi was unable to give him a name and now being the permanent member of the family he at least deserved a name. she collected all the books scattered on the table and shut the laptop down.
"You may continue your work, I don't need it anyways." Arnav told her.
"I am done...moreover Akashji may need it." she answered and he frowned.. how is Akash related? She took the laptop and marched out of the room keeping her head down and then the realization drawn upon him. it wasn't his laptop, it was Akash's. He stood on the door of his room and saw Khushi knocking Akash's.
"Thank you so much." She smiled and returned him the laptop.
"No problem Khushij...you can take it anytime you want." He smiled back taking the laptop back.
"I don't ting I'll be needing it now...but still thank you." she thanked him once again and once his door was closed her smile dropped and she walked towards her room. she knew ARnav was looking at her but she was unaware of the anger his eyes have built recently. There was a very little space or her on the door to enter as he was standing in the middle of the doorframe.
"I want to go in." she said feebly and then gave her the side but as soon as she entered she heard a loud thud of the door closing behind her.
"What the hell is your problem?" he sneered.
"What I did this time?" she questioned unknowingly facing him.
Is she really this nave or se intentionally pretends to be to agitate him further.
"You used Akahs's laptop?" he asked.
"Yes." He said confidently unknown where she stood wrong this time.
"I am not dead yet Khushi." He said clutching his jaw harder.
"W-Where a- are you taking this conversation too?" she stammered nervously seeing his anger.
He grabbed her by her arms and bought her closer.
"You exactly now where I am taking this conversation?" he said under his breath near her ears. They were so lose that his stubble was almost piercing her soft cheeks. She winced as his grip on her arms was growing harder and harder with every seconds.
"I don't know what you are talking about." She said nervously.
"I know you are angry and whatever it is...I have tried enough and like this puppy I am not going to roam after you...get it." he seethed and she looked at him with amusement. Unwillingly tears started filling her eyes but she was determined she wouldn't shed a tear in front of him.
"Why the hell you asked Akash for the laptop?" he demanded an answer.
" I needed it." she answered.
"You could have used mine." he questioned again.
"It was urgent." She said in a feeble voice.
"It couldn't be urgent if you ignored the laptop right in front of your eyes and ask someone else." He said angrily and she wiggled under his grip.
"Listen Khushi...I am your husband here and anything...and I mean anything you need you'll use mine...not someone else's. " he said in her ears loudly making her flinch.
"Husband? Really?" she looked at him with confidence straight into his eyes and the tears which she had been fighting leaked from her eyes.
"You yourself made clear the very same day of our marriage that I can't touch your things, so give me one reason to use your laptop?" She asked him and his grip on her arms loosened a bit and taking it as the opportunity she freed herself.
" I think you forgot the rules of your own game, inside this room we are not husband and wife ARnavji...I don't want to hear any further accusation from you." she said and although she found the courage to answer him back yet her eyes decided to betray her.
"i-i dint mean to..."
"You don't mean anything ARnavji yet you mean a lot." She said and stomped out of the room to her poolside and he sighed in frustration. This wasn't he the thing he had been planning. He wanted to bring her back in the room as from the past 10 days she was sleeping out. The little progress he managed to make was offering her blanket but after whatever happened tonight she went out to sleep in the cold just like that.
Never in his dream he wanted to lash out at her but it happened so quickly that he didn't had the chance to control himself. He saw her with Akash's laptop and this was enough to fuel him. he wanted her to use his, he wanted the invisible wall between them to break but he just added more height to it. a strange feeling hit him when he saw her smiling and talking with Akash. He don't know why but he felt insecure...he felt as if he was sharing his most important thing.
Jealousy
His heart told him but h ignored his heart. she was sitting on the cold floor with her head in between her knees. He now she must be crying but all he could see was her back. he pulled his hair in frustration but it wasn't able to calm him down.
He sat on the recliner with his head in his palms. He want her in this room but after whatever happened she wouldn't step in. maybe he could call Di for help. he will cook some story and will say they had an argument after which she was upset but from nowhere it looked like an small argument. If Anjali would see Khushi she would definitely figure out that something big happened and at this point he doesn't want the truth to be out in front of more people. Deciding that he'll bring her in once she falls asleep she watched her figure but the entire night passed him watching her.
*****************************
"Khuhiji you look tired." Anjali pointed out and Khushi sneezed.
"I am fine Di." She smiled at her.
"Didn't Chotte let you sleep?" she teased and she smiled half-heartedly. It was indeed the half-truth. He didn't let her sleep but the reason was far for different from what she was presuming.
"Don't worry...when Chotte will come I'll tell him to give his wife a little rest...I guess he took me way too seriously for the baby." She said.
"There is nothing like that." Khushi said to put an end to this conversation.
"Khuhiji you look bothered...you know you can tell me anything." Anjali said holding Khuhi's hand.
"I know DI." Khushi said and she sneezed again.
"Then what the matter is." Anjali asked and Khushi wished that she cpold tell her what the matter is.
"Nothing DI...trust me..." she tried to assure her but Anjali's face scrunched with pain.
"Di are you okay?" Khuhsi asked holding Anjali by her shoulder.
"I am fine." Anjali said in a low voice clutching her slightly swollen belly.
"DI...come with me...I'll call the doctor."
"I am fine Khushiji." She defended.
"I know you are fine but what's the harm in calling the doctor." Khushi said and helped Anjali to her room where she helped her to lay and called the doctor. She rubbed her belly with sift hands until the doctor arrived.
When the doctor arrived there was nothing major. She told Khushi that she was slightly under rest and needs complete bed rest. The doctors also collected some sample for tests. She prescribed some medicines which Khushi asked HP to bring. Once Anjali was asleep she felt a bit relieved. She wanted to tell Arnav but she didn't felt like calling him o she texted him.
Di wasn't feeling well so I called the doctor. She is fine now and sleeping. Please collect the test reports from the hospital in the evening.
As soon as she hit send her phone rang with his name.
"How is Di now and what happened to her?" he asked in rush.
"She as a bit under rested, doctor said she is fine." He told him.
"I am coming home." He said.
"She is sleeping and Shaymji is also coming." She told him and sneezed. There was silence of few second on the line when he decided to speak. He was actually confused what to say. There were so many things to be spoken yet he couldn't say anything. He didn't know whether to say sorry about last night or to ask her if she is okay or not as she had being sneezing a lot since morning and he knows she had caught the flu or to thank her for doing whatever she did for his sister.
"Thank you." he mumbled in a low voice.
"I am just doing to for DI." She replied shortly and hangs up not wanting to talk anything else. She clutched the phone harder and bought it near her.
Why everything bad has to happen to her?
On the other hand hearing the deadline, he stared at the phone. He wanted to call again and want apologies but he couldn't. Can one call disconnection can make you feel so bad? He thought.
Yes
When that call is from someone you care for and you want to talk endlessly is upset and ignores you was the answer he got from his heart but ignoring the answer he received he kept the phone back on the table and resumed his work.
