Part 28

After learning Veronica's true colour, Arnav punched his fist hard on the steering wheel trying to take out his anger. Veronica already played with him and that too by using Khushi which he surely didn't like. Every matter which was related to him should only remain there and here Veronica went personal by dragging Khushi in between and upon that he needs clarification? Why she did this..? What's her motif..?

The only option he has now is calm down his nerves as Khushi is looking disturbed and this sudden blast would only scare her. As for now, she already created distance from him and another issue will make mess of their un-growing relationship.

He parked the car at the garage and looked aside where she was sitting. Probably, she was awake and staring outside the window. When she realized they reached? She gives him the coat plastering a smile on her lips which didn't go unseen by him.

Khushi: "Thanks.."

Arnav: "Khushi, wait I need to ask you something..?" She gestured him to carry on.. "Did you call me before Aman..?" She started to look here and there and replied with her voice fading in.

Khushi: "No.." She lied..

Arnav was literally stunted with her denial.. Why did she lie now..? He clearly knew she did, in fact he seen the evidence too. Then why..?

She didn't wait any longer and walked out from the car taking a fast steps though he might shoot another question. She wasn't ready to answer anything.

Once changing his clothes, Arnav went towards the kitchen and started to prepare hot chocolate. It's the simplest drink he could make without any helps. Till now he hadn't make any coffee for himself even though he knew and for the first time ever he is doing it for her.

There were little worries developing within him either she will like it or not? Will it reach her expectation..? What will be her reaction..? He put everything aside and hurriedly prepared one for her. Carrying the mug he walked to her room and knocked the door.

Khushi opened the door after changing into night dress. She left her hair open and put it on her shoulder. The moment the door been open Arnav was blew away staring at her mesmerizing charms. She was looking way too beautiful and angelic even without any cosmetic on her face.

Khushi(Clearing her throat): "Errmm.. Do you need anything..?" For a second he was totally blurred on what purpose he was here but after realizing that he was holding a mug then only he realized the reason behind his appearance.

Arnav: "Hot chocolate.." He extended the mug which she holds bit hesitated. "It's raining outside there so this will keep you warm.." He knew question round will start very soon with that he need to leave. "Good night.." He replied immediately and went off. Khushi thought of asking him something but before that he already disappeared from her view. She closed the door and went inside holding the Hot Chocolate mug.

Next morning

The loud bell sound from the alarm clock disturbed her whole slumber. She rubbed her eyes and opened them with little effort. Khushi shove the duvet from her body and went out from the room after washing her face. She thought of inhaling some fresh air at the Raizada Garden which would make her mind work properly and clean the entire dust which she started to plant within her.

However, the moment she opened the door? Shock will be underestimated..! Her eye roams the entire couch and there she caught Arnav Singh Raizada sleeping on the couch with a small pillow supporting his neck while his hand was resting on his forehead. There is no need for her to guess or look for the answer why did he sleep on the couch as she already knew. He did it for her..! Just to know whether she is fine or not..?

Khushi bought a blanket and cover him within it. He seems sleeping peacefully as he didn't notice she was putting the blanket on him. Her eyes keep staring him while her hand was arguing to touch him care him and feel him with her skins.

She removed the hair stands away from his forehead carefully but yet he didn't realize. She felt some kind of soft string in her heart. It wasn't paining at all in fact it was truly another sense which she hardly feels but it do happens when he was near her. She somewhere understands what is happening with her and why she is reacting this way. It wasn't an easy task to erase their first meeting. He has left a deep impact on her heart and bruises them badly with his own action. And now she is scared of him.

After few hours..

Sleeping on the couch wasn't a good idea but he was left with no option. He can't sleep in her room and keep sneaking in or else she will again misunderstand him. For now he didn't want to enter in her bad book and ruin his own reputation before her. He already makes her go through a lot due to this ill behaviour.

Carrying some files and coat he marched towards the dining room to have breakfast. Khushi had also occupied a seat while she was busy sipping the tea.

Arnav (Breaking the silence): "You don't have to come office today..!" She lifted her gaze looking for explanation while he was busy with his mobile currently, dialing someone which probably connected. "Where is Veronica..? She wasn't answering my calls.." The moment Khushi heard Vero's name been taken quickly she avoided her gaze from meeting him. "I don't care..! I want her in my cabin before I reach AR.. Get her as soon as possible.." He commanded his employee.

Taking a toast and sipping his drinks, he started to read newspaper neglecting the surround. Even though, he could feel her gaze was on him and that's make him silence as he want her to break it. But there is no point hopping in her. Quickly, she wrapped her breakfast and excused herself from there leaving a stunt Arnav behind. He turns his neck sideway and saw her rushing upstairs not even glancing backwards for once.

Arnav (In his heart): "Let me settle Veronica first than I will be back to you Khushi.. There is a lot needed to clear among us.." He took his belongs and drove to AR..

Khushi was seating in her room flipping pages after pages of a magazine. Nothing caught her attention. She was lost in some other thoughts. Her brain keep adding fuel on her grief by saying Arnav purposely told her to stay so that he can be with Veronica..! She felt bad as she had been neglected, once Veronica back in his life. Taking a small pillow she hugged it tightly as she was expressing her emotions to those soft cottons.

Suddenly, the bell rang on her mobile echoed in the entire room. Lazily, Khushi answered the call without checking the caller ID.

Khushi: "Hello.. (PAUSE) Mahi..?" Hurriedly, she jumps on the bed seating straight with a smile playing on her lips. She missed her best friend a lot words will be less to express it..!

Mahi: "Khushiii..." She too screamed on another side of the line.

Khushi: "Now you remember me..? Hell, don't talk to me.." Mahi pouted..

Mahi: "Ohh.. I'm sorry Khushi.. I swear I didn't forget you not even a second.. I tried to call you few times but your number wasn't reachable so that's why I took another way and assure everything from Bhai.. He keeps informing me that you are fine and now you are doing internship with him. So, technically I'm not much worry.. Because Bhai is the best person who can take care of you and I trust him. He will take a good care of my best friend.. No doubt..!" The faith she has in her brother would never reduce doesn't matter whatever rift come in between the siblings.

Khushi didn't comment anything and let Mahi keep praising her brother. She didn't want to come in between them.

Khushi: "So when you are planning to come back.. I miss all of you.. Few bays back I talked with Di.."

Mahi: "I suppose to return last week but later Mom called and insisted to come Shimla instead of going back to Delhi. So I changed my destination and here I am.. Hopefully by next week we will be back and yeah.. A big surprise waiting for everyone in Delhi especially Bhai.."

Khushi: "What surprise..?" She asked with little confusion.

Mahi: "Remember once you suggested a way..? So now we are working on it.. It's going to be fun.. Bhai will be shock.."

Khushi: "I suggested..? What is it..?" She still wasn't able to get what Mahi was trying to hint..?

Mahi: "This we will discuss later.. Now I need to inform you something really important.. I need your help for this.. Please don't deny Khushi.." Khushi give her go ahead sign so that she can hear what Mahi was concern about..? "Today is Neeta's Birthday Party at Royal Club.. Please attend it behalf of me.."

Khushi: "No.. Mahi I'm not in mood.." She refused politely. It was true she wasn't in a mood to attend any party or go for clubbing.

Mahi: "Please Khushi.. Just go for some time.. Neeta is my bestie and it won't look good if any one of us absent from her birthday bash.." She keep insisting Khushi to attend it behalf of so that Neeta won't feel that bad..

After thinking for few seconds, Khushi agreed just to attend for one hour and later she will start for home. She already not in mood and now she are going just because of Mahi or else she will never step out from Raizada mansion at least not for today.

Arnav's Cabin

Shoving everything from the desk angrily, he stared Veronica who seems sweating due to fears. His collarbone clearly visible as his anger truly justify..

Veronica: "Ar..nieee... What happen to you..?" She asked though she was still unaware..

Arnav: "Nothing happens to me but very soon it's going to happen with you..!" he said in gritting teeth.. "Aman...??" He shouts

Aman rushed in the Cabin holding few documents in his hand and keeps them on the desk. Taking a pen from the ground he placed it just beside those documents..

Veronica: "What is this..?"

Aman: "The end of your chapter.." A cunning smile was playing on his lips. He just can't wait to see Veronica been kicked out from AR premise forever..

Veronica: "Shut up.. Aman..! You have no rights to talk to me like this..! You have no idea who am I..?" Anger started to pump within her.

Arnav (Angrily): "Who are you..? Care to explain..? As I'm eager to know the real face of Veronica..?" He lean his back on the desk with his hand folded on his chest.

Veronica: "Arnie why you are behaving like this..? Last night, you weren't like this..? Did anyone fill your ears against me..?" She tried to touch him but he show his palm directing her to stop where she is standing.

Arnav(Sternly): "Just stop pretending Veronica..! I'm tired of you and your drama.. It's not entertaining anymore nor was it..! Just sign this damn paper and get out..! Right now, I'm trying to be slow with you. If you don't like this way than I won't hesitate to be rough though.."

Veronica (Angrily): "This might be because of Khushi right..? I know that shameless girl will never stop poking her nose in our life.." That was high for him..! He clenched his jaw though of pouching Veronica for accusing Khushi who has nothing to do with them..

Aman (Stopping Arnav): "ASR.. Stop..!" he come in between Arnav and Veronica stopping him from being violence. "Don't waste your time in confronting her.. Let's make everything clear and throw her out from here forever.." Arnav inhale some air which would calm down the devil in him.

Arnav: "Veronica, starting from now-on-wards you are not related to AR. Our deal end here and you can take your ass out from my premise I don't wish to see your face near me or any of us.. I'm done with you and there is no place for a witch like you.. Get out..!!" He put his word forwards clearly so that Veronica could hear everything without any interruption..

Veronica: "What..?" She was shocked.. Her face was looking pale.. If she had been thrown out from AR means her journey of modeling end here too along with her careers...? "No ASR.. You can't be cruel towards me..!" She tried to reach him but before that she been hold by those securities.

Arnav: "You dig your own grave Veronica..! You shouldn't bring Khushi in our matter..!"

Veronica: "Khushi.. Khushi.. Khushi.. Khushi..!! For God sake stop taking her name Arnie.. Why you are so much into her..?"

Arnav: "Because I love her.. She meant everything for me.." Veronica smiled evilly..

Veronica: "And she don't love you..! She believes that we are in relationship.. Such a fool she is.. I manipulated her and she take to believe me.." Veronica started to laugh loudly making Aman and Arnav look at each other. They somewhere hinted what Vero was trying to point but the fact was too hard to digest..!

Aman: "You played a game with ASR's mobile and now you are saying that you lie to Khushi..? How sick of you..!" Aman can't believe this.. Now he understand why Khushi was looking distract when they return from the lunch date..

Arnav: "This is not done..!" He shouts suddenly making them jerk in fears.. He took few steps forward only to stop by Aman again.. He didn't want this issue to turn worst as for now it's coming to end. "She is not fool in fact she is fragile because she take to believes you.. You have only make mine and her way simple and now you are not needed in AR anymore.. Security..? Throw her out from here.. If I saw her face nears any of my property than get ready to see the worst side of mine..." They dragged Veronica out from AR.. She was waving her hand and screaming unnecessarily gaining the entire staffs attention.

Arnav seat on the sofa with his palm closing his face. Veronica has created such a huge mess in his life and Khushi..? She tried to hurt Khushi emotionally and she was succeed..!

Aman (Placing his hand on ASR's shoulder): "Lets don't get into Veronica's issues anymore.. And about Khushi..? (PAUSE) You know better ASR.. She meant for you and don't spoil it just because of your ego and pride. In that case, you will only loss her. There is no difference between both of you.. If she is stubborn than you wasn't less too.. Try to mend your ego for her ASR.. Like you said she is fragile. So treat her softly and upon that seek for an apology for each and every deed that you consummate towards her. That's the only reason which is holding her.. I know till now you haven't asked for a proper apology. So take a move and embrace your love.." Those words was so powerful and soothing his heart. He needs her..! Arnav Singh Raizada needs his Khushi.. The only girl which he love unconditionally. He stood up and hugged Aman tightly.

Arnav: "Thanks Aman.. Thank you so much for everything.. I own you dude..!" They pulled back with a smile on their face.

Aman (Mischievously): "There is a way of paying back too.."

Arnav: "Anything.. Just shoot.."

Aman: "A private dinner date with Khushi Malhotra without ASR present.. Only me and Khushi"

Arnav: "What the..!" He raised his one brow after realizing Aman was just pulling his legs as he understand the next move which he probably going to take further.

Aman patted his friends shoulder insuring him that now the new journey started.. Journey towards the word love..
