Chapter 42

Kicking the door open furiously, Arnav dashed inside only to found sofiya laying on the sofa calmly.

Sofiya: ''Arnav ..!'' She get stunned and got up in an instant. Arnav keep walking and she began shivering noticing the fire in his eyes.

Arnav: ''What you thought I never came to know anything?'' He said in deep tone. She gulped. What the hell he is talking about? She have no idea. Sweat-beads form on her face.

Sofya: ''Arnav, what a pleasant surprise!'' She tried to act normal and went to hugged him but he pushed her off.

Arnav: ''Don't you dare!'' He worn with greeted teeth.

Sofiya: ''Arnav I..'' She tried to say something but his sharp voice stopped her to say anything.

Arnav: ''Shut up!!'' His roaring tone echoed in the house and tend her to step backward. Fear started to rule her. Till yet, he wasn't said anything or made his intention clear. How he get my contact address? The only question crossing her mind.

''I never thought you can stood so low..i consider you my friend but you..'' He clenched his fist to control his rage.

Sofiya: ''What I did?'' She suppressed her stammering voice. ''We are meeting after ages and instead of greeting me you are showing your anger..what's wrong with you?'' She acted innocently and put a smile on her lips.

Arnav: ''What's wrong with me? Really..'' He clapped his hands and glare her indifferently. His unusual behavior scaring her. By now she haven't left no clue by which anyone doubt on her. Except jatin no one knows about her plan! So did he..? She was lost in her thoughts when arnav began taking steps toward her. He was expressionless. He cupped her face making her eyes popped out in astonishment. His gaze was fixed upon her and his jaws was clenched in agitation. And his next statement really stilled her.

''I m sorry sofiya for behaving like that..i'm so stressed out that I burst out all my pain and frustration on you..i don't know what happened to me so suddenly and why I reacted like that..'' He sat down on the sofa putting his head down. She was confused by his sudden changed in expression and came around to sit beside him.

Sofiya: ''Arnav is everything alright..you are sounding quite weird..!'' She asked concernedly touching his shoulder. She was totally oblivious to the fire that he had instigated inside him. He took her hand and looked into her eyes. His expression was perfectly calm. From his expression it is difficult to comprehend the steeled expression he wore.

Arnav: ''Sofiya I broke up with khushi..'' She was shocked like hell. She can't believe her ears what she just heard. Arnav and khushi got separated? This is something she haven't expected. Her heart was jumping in joy by getting the happiest news of her life. The moment she waiting since ages was come into reality so soon she never predicted. Finally all her sacrifices paid off and now arnav would be only her's forever! The sorrowful look in his eyes was a biggest proof he left her. For a second she get scared thinking he may knew about her all crimes. She took a breathe in contentment and a wide smirk appear on her face.This is the big opportunity where she could have him. Taking a direct intimate move, she hugged him and rubbed his back.

Sofiya: ''I m shocked!! Is it really..?'' He pulled off and nodded lightly and looked aside.

Arnav: ''Its true!'' She kneel in front of him and pretend to get upset.

Sofiya: ''But how this happen! As far as I know, you and khushi were so much in love?''

Arnav: ''Don't take her name..i hate that women..she don't deserve to be loved!! She smirked inwardly.I loved her madly more than my life without caring about anything but she..dammit..!'' He bang his hand on the desk hurtfully. Anger emitting his face. She smiled wickedly seeing hatred in his eyes.

Sofiya: ''Arnav calm down ! Don't think about that girl who gave you nothing other than pain..whatever happened is happened at-least now you realized what a characterless women she is! ...'' She saw his vacant eyes waiting for him to say anything . After a moment of silence, he approaches her and she held her breathe.

Arnav: ''You are right..i was such a fool to trust her..she betrayed me in each and every step and used me but still my heart unable to believe that my khushi ever ditches me..'' His every word against khushi was like a piano for her. She was longing for this moment and now she can't hold back her happiness anymore. This was her moment! That night is still fresh in her mind when that filthy girl snatched arnav and slapped her in front of him. After so many years she was finding solace within her heart.

Sofiya: I can feel your pain...no one can understand the pain of loosing a love more than me, no matter what I always be with you..'' She said and placed her hand onto his.

Arnav: ''So sweet of you..you always support me whenever I needed my friend but in return I never get any chance to do anything for you ..how can I thank you for this..i wanted to do something for you which you will never forget..'' He looked at her with solemn expression. Her eyes twinkle hearing his sweet words. She is in cloud-9 now. Should I tell him how much I loved him? He openly asking me what I want! I want you arnav ..i want you! Her every fiber was screaming to confess what her heart feels.

He continued, ''You knew what there was a time when I wanted to follow my insane heart..insane wishes and leave everything and go for a girl whom I loved but she married to another man and broke my heart..'' She rubbed his back and console him. Sofiya can't deny but she is enjoying every bit of it. For the first time she is so close to him.

Sofiya: ''I always wanted to say don't go behind that girl you will get nothing but unable to say anything as I had a fear to loose my only friend...she is a bitch arnav! She only wanted money and fame that's why she married rich guy and when she realized you earn more money than her husband..she create the situation so cleverly saying her daughter is your blood..'' she blunt out everything.

Arnav: ''Not bad sofiya I m impressed! You knew everything about mine and khushi relationship! He passed a cunning smile and she smirked.

Sofiya: ''Not only that I knew more than you ever imagined..'' He expression turn stern.

''What are you talking about?'' He asked.

Sofiya(Holding his hand): ''Yes arnav..its true I had every detail about your's and khushi broken relation..i knew she is a married women and about her kid named, jiya..god knows whose bloody sin it is! He clenched his fist . She paused for a while.

''And now when you are started hating her its won't be any issue! You should know how many sacrifices I did only to get you back into my life..'' Taking a deep breathe she said, ''I love you arnav I love you a lot..i can't express in words how much I m happy seeing you here..'' She carried out saying happily and he silently listening keeping his gaze fixed.

''First time when you said that you loved me...I was so happy but in next moment you broke my delusion saying its all to make khushi realize her feelings..you only love her and I'm just your friend nothing-else? My heart get broken into numerous pieces that day but I bear it all burying my feeling deep inside my heart..i died every single moment seeing you both together..the way you both used to kissed and loved each other was something unbearable. She gripped his hand firmly and he startled hearing all this.

''That day my patience reached in peak when I saw you both in that farmhouse so close in a compromised state..My hatred increased doubled for khushi..i really wanted to rip her for snatching you away from me and for that I tried to kill her but unfortunately she get saved and today she once again hurt you.. I will kill her so cruelly this time and no-one will saved her..you have no idea arnav how much I'm in love with you..'' Her every word pieced his heart like daggers making it bleed.

Arnav: ''So its you that day who send hooker to rap..? She nodded proudly and laughed.

Sofiya: ''Yes my darling its me..and poor she for that she tried to attempt suicide! Shoving her hand roughly he pulled her hairs.

Arnav: ''You are sick sofiya..a bloody sick..how could you hurt my khushi..'' Her face loose its color seeing him boiling in anger. She hissed.

Sofiya: ''What you doing?I was just saying she is a Bit..'' His one cold glare stopped her to speak further. She was tongue tied. The monster inside him alive. She swallowed hard.

Arnav: ''I m not done yet..'' He grabbed her shoulder and poked his nails hastily. His finger print marked on her skin making her hissed in pain.

Sofiya: ''Arnav you are hurting me..What are you trying to do? Sofiya been pushed roughing on the ground. He stood up all fire up and grabbed her neck hysterically without any pray. He didn't gave any mercy to her and gave her a hard slap on her face making her fell on the hard floor once again. Her throat is burning and eye welled up.

Arnav: ''What happened my dearest friend.. why are you staring at me like that! Let me tell you its all my master plan I wanted to knew how much poison filled in your dirty brain..you disowned the meaning of love by your self obsessive nature!! You are a disgusting women..i m feeling ashamed to consider you my friend. He held her hand and aggressively pulled it behind her back.

Sofiya: ''Stop it arnav! You are hurting me..'' She pleaded and cried.

Arnav: ''Ohh Is it really paining? He asked in an unpleasant tone. This pain is nothing in comparable khushi bared..i almost lost her dammit..'' His voice quivered remembering khushi face when she slit her wrist. Sofiya flinched. There is no guilt in her face.

Sofiya: ''Have you gone mad.. Khushi had made you really insane..She is a bloody..''

Arnav: ''Just shut up..i would kill you if you say a single word against MY KHUSHI..!'' She looked on disbelief. ''Why did I said something wrong? You might be thinking just now I was saying I hate khushi and now turn table so suddenly.. That's because Miss Sofiya Malik this is all a trick to make you confess your crimes..i wanted to know at which extend you could go. Her expression turned drastic seeing camera he showed which he attached in her room during her absence.

Just then her eyes darted toward the door that flew open. She get extremely terrified looking at jatin and khushi entering along with corps. How did he escaped from jail? What was he doing here? She scrambled to her feet and then looked at arnav bewildered. He arched his eyebrow.

Jatin: ''Miss sofiya malik your game is over..'' He exclaimed firmly. Her face turn pale.

Khushi: ''I can't believe you can stood so low..being a women how could you do this..ridiculous!'' She looked at her disgustingly. ''All the crimes you committed and very cleverly put blames on jatin by trapping him. If that night he didn't barge into my room I will never get to know your ugly deeds..''

*Flashback*

Khushi: ''What..yo..u do.in..g here..'' Her entire body was trembling in fear seeing jatin in front of her eyes. She open her mouth to shout but he immediately pressed her mouth with his palms.

Jain: ''Khushi please don't shout..i came to meet you with lots of difficulty just listen to me once..what you were thinking was not true..i m innocent believe me that night I didn't forced you..'' tears rolled from her eyes remembering that horrified incident. The pain is getting unbearable. She pushed him away and open her mouth to scream when Jatin went and placed his hand on jiya head.

''I swear of this small kid jiya..i havn't done anything..trust me please!'' He begged. This time she failed to see little sign of care within him.

Khushi: ''Have some shame don't drag my daughter into this..you wanted to force me or wanted to kill me or what? I had enough of enough!'' Her voice was sharp with so much bitterness that is eating her inside. She shoved his hand off from jiya head who was in slumber and grabbed his collar angrily. Her anger suppressed the feeling of fear within her.

''Why you did this to me..what is my fault.. Are you happy now you defeated your enemy in worse ways? Do you have any idea what I went through when you..'' Her eyes was shedding with non stop tears. ''You killed me jatin..you killed me..You well know how much I worshiped arnav still you tried played with my honor..if the same thing happened to your sister how does you felt?'' He bowed his head down. It is impossible to stand degradation.

Jatin: ''I knew its difficult to trust me but if you think wisely you will know what I m saying was true..!''

Khushi: ''Jatin please stop it..'' She closed her eyes to block that memory out of her mind.

Jatin: ''You won't believe me but sofiya is behind everything...she trapped me into this very badly and hire one hooker who tried to force you...'' He said in one motion that rooted her.

Khushi: ''Enough!! Stop dragging another person into this..sofiya is arnav's friend at-least spare her!''

Jatin: ''No khushi you have to listen! When you are blindfolded and tried to freed yourself, I tried to help you but unable to do anything as I was helpless lying in floor and injured my head. Even I called you and if you remember my voice was coming from far not beside from you. She looked away.

''Gave me one chance please I can prove myself correct!!'' He pleaded with lots of hope but the flashes of that dreadful night once again torment her. More she is trying to forget all once again he make her remember. The thought of been touched my another man worsen her condition. It is impossible to withstand it. She muffled her sobs and fell down on the floor unconscious unable to bear anymore.

After that day, it took her lot of time to get back to normal. She was clueless. Her mind question and she recalled his words. She have no idea what to do as she was unable to come into any conclusion. Jatin words echoed in her mind again and again and compel her to think from different angle. She was not in a situation to deal with the situation properly. Whether to believe him or not? She is not getting proper answer! Getting restless, she decided to tell everything to arnav.

The moment he came to know about jatin, arnav get hell angry and wanted to punish him brutally for scaring her but khushi stopped him saying she wanted to meet him once. He is not at all ready into this but for khushi sake, he agreed finally. Both went to jail and jatin revealed everything briefly about sofiya obsession for arnav and how he made him target and used him to help her to achieve her goal. However, they made a plan by which sofiya automatically open up.

Flashback end*

Jatin: ''Thank you khushi..thank you so much for giving me chance to prove my innocence..i treat you so bad yet you forgive me..'' He is feeling guilty.

Khushi: ''No jatin..you don't need to..''

Arnav: ''I really wanted to apologize to you. Without knowing full truth I put you behind the bars and leave no stone un-turn to made your life miserable..''

Sofiya: ''That means everything you said was a part of your plan?'' Sofiya enraged in anger by deciphering all this...'' she greeted her teeth.

''How dare you jatin..i kill you!!'' She attacked him by grabbing his neck getting violent. Immediately corps pulled her away and handcuff her.

Inspector: ''Miss sofiya malik you are under arrest..'' Arnav collected all the proofs and handed to them. Sofiya screamed on top of lungs.

Sofiya: HOW COULD YOU PLAYED WITH MY FEELINGS ARNAV..I HAD LOVE YOU SO MUCH..FOR THAT CHARACTERLESS WOMEN YOU WANTED TO SEND ME TO JAIL..THAT JATIN IS LIEING I HAVEN'T DONE ANYTHING..'' She tried to defend herself but of no use. She rose toward arnav but at the right moment khushi come in between and now both are standing face to face.

Khushi: ''Don't you dare come near my arnav..i won't spare you if you once again play any game..'' She worn.

Arnav: ''Inspector take that filthy girl away from my sight..''

He turned his gaze at khushi. Pain shot in those eyes and he held khushi into his raw arms and careless her back soothingly.

Sofiya hand get cold as the reality began to descend on her. After that corps began to drag her outside but she is shouting like a maniac.

''Khushi you are mistaken..arnav can never be yours.. I won't let you close to him..'' She barked.

Sofiya has been taken out. Only Jatin, khushi and arnav left. Jatin closed his eyes feeling a bit calm and relax. Finally the burden of secrets was somehow reduced. He was smiling looking arnav and khushi together but one truth is still left hidden. They need to know about his and khushi fake marriage.

Arnav broke the hug and wiped those strain of tears from her cheeks and kissed her hairs intently.

Arnav: ''No more tears khushi..from now your life will be filled with happiness..only happiness!'' He wanted to erased all her pains and replaced it with his unconditional love.

Khushi: ''I love you arnav..'' He smiled and stare deeply into her eyes. Here is no need of words as answer reflected in them.
